am I allowed to do this?

HELP I have a buyer who paid with a bad echeck to paypal. I thought funds cleared/would clear. It was finally cancelled by paypal.

DUMB me I sent already the package when I first received email from paypal she paid, then I went to paypal 2 days later to see it hadn't cleared now it has been 2 weeks. I WANT MY MONEY. They refuse to contact me , I sent 6 emails now in 36 hours, not rude, just stating the paypal email copied and send me money or package back as brand new.

OK, now I don't want to loose any more money. What if I sent a postcard in the mail to them requesting payment? Is that allowed. Cause we all know that nobody every reads them while being handled at the post office** or the mail carrier would that be too public demanding my payment from her on a postcard?

if it is through ebay you can contact ebay and let them know
they will get a hold of them
    If you're waiting for tomorrow,
    Why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day.

I wish it was ebay, it was another board that has an auction site, and a "Mayor" ** they haven't done anything to help me or allow me to change the feedback I left them after I got the paypal payment.

I would go ahead and send her a letter in the mail, maybe send it certified where she would have to sign for it to prove you did send it, if you have her address you could always contact the police in her city and report her for internet fraud and/or writing a hot check.

geeze I am sorry this happened to you. I don't see how people can do that to others. it just isnt right.

I know my SIL is someone just like this. She can and will take money from anyone, doesnt matter to her what kind of "story" she has to make up to get it. She even got out of a 12 day late charge on a couple of rented movies, she told them she just got out of the hospital, she had to have surgery...lol yea right.

Sorry for venting in your thread, I just dont get people. I say mail her a letter, and then if you dont hear anything then contact the police.

    Good Luck!

ttistin- go ahead and vent in here anytime.

well it is only $6.85 not alot of money at all that they owe me. Sending certified will be $3.00. I know I should be sending a letter in an envelope but think this might be another way to sort of publicly be told you still owe me money. I even went to her website listed and emailed them kindly that paypal rejected the echeck they sent and processed it 2 times. I am beyond annoyed.

will I be in trouble if I did send a notice to pay on a postcard, with the details- all nice and stuff nothing harsh.

i'm confused...why would u be in trouble? you can say anything u want in your snail mail letters...i wouldn't waste a 37 cent stamp on her when a post card stamp is just as good...plus she'll be embarrased cause it will be read...

but i'm that type of person...u mess with me...i mess with u...lol...nothing illegal though..
