I need major help FAST!!!
Ok, as we all know tongiht is Halloween. My 8 yr old is wearing one of my older sons hand-me-down costumes, a skeleton. The mask is supposed to be glued on with spirit gum, I think. We couldnt find any so my mom told me to use rubber cement. BAD idea. I mean REALLY bad, he had it on for 5 minutes and where the rubber cement touched had swelled up into welts. Ok, I remove that and its time to go out, his daddy is waiting VERY impatiently, so I grab the first thing handy to do an emergnecy makeup job on Nick. I (hanging my head) put DESITEN diaper rash ointment on his face for white, then used black eyeliner and shadow to do the dark parts. He liked the Desiten, it seemed to sooth his poor welted face.
When he FINALLY left, I tried to wash my hands and the Desiten doesnt want to come off.
HOW DO I GET THIS OFF OF MY BABY'S FACE????
He is going to have a COW with the other making his face swell and burn and now this stuff wont come off.
HELP ME PLEASE!!!

desiten always comes off when my dot pees.
not that you're gonna use pee to wash his face.
His poor face. hope it heals up, as for getting off I would think face wash or a body wash.
did you take a picture? post it.

Sorry, no pics. I was so glad to get him done and out of the house, I didnt even think about pics.
I think I got all the Desiten off, now the left over rubber cement wont come off. HTe poor child has raw places where it irratated his skin and I am afriad to rub any longer.
I called my mom and told her I was going to beat her when I see her next.

I hate desitin, my youngest pulled a real boner last month and got into an old tube & painted the whole bathtub and himself with it, yuck! Laundry detergent took it off.
Hope your son's skin feels better soon.
