    lol @ Kelblend...I started last year the day after Christmas. I HAVE to...single Mom....three kids...Big Big Budget. I buy at sales, layaway thru-out the year....And I can't afford not to shop the day after Thanksgiving.....the sales are way too good. My mom and Aunt send their $$ for presents for the kids, and I shop for them. My best friend and I have gone together for 9 yrs now....she hates it...but again the savings are too good.

    Last year we went to KB Toys (always our first stop)and spent $200.00 and got almost 500.00 in stuff. Between the free items, and the Barbies for 3.00 you can't beat it. We have a plan of attack...hit all the stores, and are at the bar by 11:00 am (hey it is noon somewheres) I save all year for this shopping spree.

    BTW: K-Mart always has 70% off all gold Thanksgiving am early. You can get 100.00 worth of gold for 30.00, plus they have special offers too. Very cool. You can get nice gifts for girl friends for cheap. I do this for the year too.

    I have a few things bought, but not much. I found mountain bikes for my oldest two for $44 yesterday! And got my DH a 52 inch t.v. for $400!! Now I have all the other stuff to buy!
