Anyone here got any tattoos?
What are they of?
Where are they?

Did they hurt?

This may have been asked before....but I have never really ventured to this forum....I stick w/the FSOT one

I just got a tattoo last week for my birthday. It is of my sons name on my lower back....and it hurt like he$$!
The pain was shooting down my legs and through my hips....it was really awful! LOL -
And I've been through 42 hours of labor! LMAO!

Anyone got any pics of their tattoos?

No tats here, too chicken! Went with a friend to get one on her ankle, she said it hurt, but nothing too severe. I am thinking of getting a small ladybug on my ankle. (if I ever get the ba!!s to do it! can you get them if you are drunk???LOL!!)

I got this tat last year for my birthday You cant really see it, but I have my kids' initials in the 3 stars on the right-hand side of the moon





This one is on my right arm, near my shoulder

I have 2 both were my designs...one is on my ankle of a moon with haze and a couple stars on it...it didnt hurt much just felt kinda warm

The other is on the small of my back 2 dolphins with a heart in the center and a tear drop under the heart! This one hurt a bit but could easily go through the pain again...it hurt the worst when he did the outline of the heart becasue that was right in the center of my back at the bottom of my back were it is real boney LOL!! But am thinking of putting my childrens names under and above this tattoo once i have my children (expecting first one in a few weeks)

I have one. Actually it's a permanent work in progress. It's on my left outside ankle. Started out about 1x1, didn't like it, had it added to, was about 1x2, then had it covered and reworked, it's about 2x3 now. And I still want to have more done to it. Thinking of wrapping it all the way around.

I'm also going to get my kid's names done in kanji (asian lettering) on my inner wrist. And the dot and I have been GOING TO get matching tats for 3 years now. We just haven't decided on a design we both like.

The ankle wasn't bad. The fleshier the area, the less it hurts. But the third time was a little more uncomfortable, when he went over the red heart, because I was allergic to the dye the first guy used and I had some scar tissue that was tougher to cover. The outlining is the worst part, because it's a single needle process. Filling in is a breeze. It's sort of like taking a straight pin and scraping it hard along your skin. The filling in areas feels something like if you would grab the little hairs on your arm and pull hard.

It's really NOT as bad as you make yourself think. The noise of the ink gun bothered me the most, like a dentist's drill. Next time, I'm taking headphones!

lol...that's me...i want a heart or rose on my ankle....but i'm chicken....and i hate needles...
my dh has one on his back (shoulder area)...he said he'd take me if i wanted to...
i would wanna be drunk but they aren't supposed to do it if u are cause something about you bleeding more if u are drunk....

Yes. Any reputable inker will refuse to do the work if you've been drinking ANY amount. Alcohol is a blood thinner. Otherwise, there is VERY little bleeding.

my tattoo artist back in MI where i had both mine done said he would work on anyone who had taken pain killer muscle relaxers or even smoked a little wacky tabacky but would NOT work on ANYONE who drank ANY alcohol!! I took a muscle relaxer before i had the one on my back done but i dont think it helped at all i think it would have been better used AFTER the tattoo for the discomfort

I have 3 I just got a permanent toe ring done and it hurt like heck hehehehehe but I love them and am growing addicted!
