Question Any Ideas for talent show...

My kids have a talent show that they want to participate in but me being totally uncreative don't know what to have them do.

1st daughter is 8 and wants her 8 year old friend to do something with her...any ideas?? We are limited on time and money so costumes are basically out. The talent show is Oct 24th.

2nd daughter is 6 and has a classmate that wants to do something together also. Same time frame, no money, and so uncreative.

    What do ya'll think??

Any ideas (as long as they don't involve Bratty Spears) would be appreciated!

Well they could sing some of their favorite songs, or they could act out a scene from their favorite movie,or (we did this when I was in 8th grade-lol) they can make fun of some of the teachers by acting like they do, or they could tell jokes! Just thought I would give it a shot. if they are into sports they could do a demonstaration on a few moves that are hard. or just had them a baton and let them twirl it around while music plays, just hope no one gets hit!- lol Hope some of this helps!

Question : Can they combine something with what they are planning to wear for Halloween ?? That might give them an idea ...

Do they sing any "Silly Songs" in the car ?

Last year a group of boys in the second grade re-enacted Ray Stevens Mississippi Squirrel Revival ~ "The Day the Squirrel Went Bezerk..." -- involved the song playing while they dragged a stuffed toy (the "squirrel") arround on a string while they acted up-out-over the song. It was HILARIOUS !
