Any FTP experts out there? I desperatly need your help!!
I always thought I was pretty good with computer stuff. But I am totally lost when it comes to FTP downloads.
I have an FTP client (Leapftp), FTP address ect. I was able to connect to the address, I saw all the files from the server ect. I can even download things. It goes through the whole download progress. But when I want to look at the files they are not downloaded. I even downloaded anothere FTP client (Ws-ftp) because I thought I just don't get the other one. But it was the same. This client gave me an error message, something like can't connect to the network....
Can someone PLEASE help me out???Get our guys out of Iraq!!

I use Smart FTP, and never had any problems. I think the URL is www.smartftp.com
What types of files are you trying to upload/download?

Delete and start again. Some of the larger files will time out and you can't always tell that they have. Plus any bumps in the road and your download is screwed up.

Have you tried using your browser?
just type in ftp:// and the address you use to log into the server.
I use cuteftp most of the time. But the browser sometimes works better.
Maybe the files you are trying to download are corrupt??
And if it's what schsa said, you could download one of the programs that lets you resume downloads such as Godzilla. And use your browser as your ftp program.
What site are you trying to download from?NEW ! => ISO LIST! please L@@K and see if you have something I need.

I use G6 FTP as my server, but use Crystal FTP as a download client. I like it because it resumes.

You guys are great.....
....I guess the files were corrupt (I am not even sure what that means) I tried a different link and I had not problems with the downloads....
