Now I've heard everything!!!!
The girl I work with just announced that she couldn't finish her ironing because she ran out of "linen water" ... hmmmm ... ever heard of this stuff?
I finally asked her WTH it was ... well, it's scented distilled water that you either spray on your laundry or put into your iron to make things smell like "lavender" ... the kicker is she pays $30 a bottle for this stuff (Canadian) and it only lasts her a couple of weeks. She also informed me that it's only sold at upscale linen stores...hoity-toity!!! Pardon me if I get my sheets at Walmart!
Do you think she really needs her job? Farking $30 for farking linen water?????

I may be a frugal idiot, but why couldn't you just put a few drops of lavendar scent in a spray bottle of water???
In memory of my friend Becky B. who died from breast cancer. I can still hear her say "early detection, early detection, early detection"..........

I was wondering if that stuff really worked. I don't mind ironing, I'm just not good at it. I'll have to check it out.

good ol martha stewart doesn't use it, or she didn't say she did in 'ironing 101!'

I think that I have seen something like that on Eluxuy.

Just another ploy to get people to spend money. Marcih-- now you know how you can make extra money. Bottle up some water with lavender in it like DeeTee said put some fancy label on it and market it around this lady. Sell it to her for $20 and you will stay make one heck of a profit!
FBH-- I gave up ironing when we left the Army. I personally think the wrinkled look that was sooo popular in the 80's never left!
