    I just wanted to jump in here and let everyone know how I am doing.
    After going 10 hours without a cig. and then going to bed. I woke up this morning and fought the urge to have one!!!!- lol can you belive that my house is spottless and my laundry is all done! But I did stop and have 1 just 1! and that was at 1:30 p.m. and then I had one more around 3 p.m. cuz I was driving! I didnt even realize that I was doind it until it was too late! and I didnt even finish it! I just threw it out the window! so that makes 2 cigs today! total so far!

    I AM SO PROUD OF ME!!!! and this is my last pack!

    Hubby ran out last night so we shall see how he is doing when he gets home later tonight!

    Just thought I would share!!!

    I want to pick a quit date. Here's the problem, my 2 grandsons are coming to stay with us for a week. Now, I have never smoked in front of them and we have spent a lot time together. The first time I quit smoking was when my DIL was pregnet with the first one nine years ago. I stayed off for 2 years. Dumb, dumb me for going back. But, that is way ot. Do I pick a quit date before they come, or wait until they are gone? I don't want to be a nasty B##t#h while they are here.

    For myself I think I would set the quit date for their first day to be scheduled with you. Since you said you dont smoke around them anyways, this would probally work well for you. Look at this way...its a NEW beginning....and your visit with them each time is fresh and new...so keep those two thoughts in hand Get yourself something like carrots, sunflower seeds, suckers or whatever to help you. And if you get the urge..delay and do something an urge only lasts a few minutes And like I suggested for Katinky below..if you have a real bad urge...get yourself and those kiddies to mall or someplace where you CANNOT smoke ANd keep us updated! HUGS!!

    KATinKY Hi everyone. I just wanted to come in and say thank you everyone for your support.     Katinky I am SO VERY proud of you hon...and you are welcomed. Changing habits all the way around is a very good ideal. I understand the reasons about not being here much, I was same way...but I do encourage you to check in here and stay in contact with your support buddy!!! Just remember ..if you get the urge..delay the thought..go for a walk or do anything that you want that will help take your mind off it as well as do something like go to a mall or store where you cant smoke at all. HUGS hon..and YES you CAN do IT!!! **Did you lay in a supply of carrots, celery, hard candy or suckers? {{KATINKY}}
