that was kinda rude, lol. course I didn' tknow that i could put stuff from my freezer in there :eek: cus I have a LOT of food in my freezer..making bacon tomorrow, ergo, it's all i have in my fridge, cool site ty jolie :)
Old-Fashioned Banana Pudding
1-1/2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 cups milk
2 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 tablespoons butter
5 to 6 bananas, peeled and sliced
1 box (7-1/4 ounces) vanilla wafers
In large saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually add milk. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring frequently. After mixture thickens, cook 2 minutes longer, stirring. Remove from heat. In small bowl, stir small amount of hot mixture into beaten eggs. Return egg mixture to the hot mixture and cook additional 2 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and butter. In 2-1/2 quart oblong casserole, layer bananas, pudding, and wafers.
Hint: This dessert is delicious topped with your favorite meringue recipe or with wafer crumbs.
YIELD: 16 servings
Flute - I think they are refering to the "bachlor-types"; open the fridge and all you find is a half jar of mustard, spaghetti-o's half eaten out of the can, a stick of butter, and a couple of fast food containers ...

FETTUCCINE A LA GIGI
4 slices (about ½ pound) ham
8 ounces dry fettuccine
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove garlic, peeled, minced
1 cup coarsely chopped tomato
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup fresh or frozen peas
1 tablespoon (or more as desired) prepared pesto
1/4 cup shaved or grated parmesan cheese
Cut ham into 1/4-inch-wide strips. Set aside. Bring large pot of water to a boil. Add fettuccine. Cook according to package directions. Drain well. Meanwhile, in large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic. Cook for 1 minute. Add ham and tomato. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Stir in peas and pesto. Cook for 2 minutes. Add drained fettuccine. Toss to coat. Sprinkle with cheese. Serve.
