...the President and Vice President were each taken to different locations, and hidden.
except the MSM kept broadcasting the locations that Air Force One was landing

MSNBC did a pardon of the turkey at the Whitehouse, BUT it was all staged. The brats were not dress properly, and were far from him, instead of arms length away a short bit behind him. As usual he was just off the golf course, and no one else. No podium, no spouse, no press, no front lawn, no VP, no big celebration. More like 3 individual green screen shots merged together.

WASHINGTON — President Obama seemed to be trying out a Thanksgiving-themed comedy club act Wednesday as he engaged in the traditional White House turkey pardoning.

"Feel free to keep on gobbling," Obama told the Rose Garden crowd as he announced that, also per tradition, two turkeys would be spared this Thanksgiving Eve.

"I can announce that the American people have spoken, and we have two winners," he said. "Their names are Honest and Abe — I confess that Honest looks like good eating, but this is a democracy."

With daughters Malia and Sasha at his side, Obama declared that "Abe is now a free bird" and will now be designated "TOTUS — the Turkey of the United States."

Obama — also known as POTUS, President of the United States — said Honest will be held in an "undisclosed location," ready to step in if "Abe can't fulfill his duties to walk around and gobble all day."

Actually, "Honest" and "Abe" are scheduled to be on public display at a park in Leesburg, Va., in a barn known as "the White House on Turkey Hill," Obama said — "which actually sounds pretty good."

For this 68th annual ceremony, the National Turkey Federation also brought two ready-to-eat birds to the White House. Obama said that, later in the day, he and his family will "take some of the less fortunate turkey brothers with us" to help serve meals to homeless veterans.

The First Family and friends helped serve dinner at Friendship Place, a Washington, D.C., organization with a Veterans First program for homeless and at-risk ex-service members.

During the Rose Garden ceremony, Obama thanked his daughters "for once again standing here with me during the turkey pardoning ... They do this solely because it makes me feel good — not because they actually think that this is something I should be doing."

In a more serious vein, Obama said Thanksgiving is an especially welcome holiday in "challenging times." Speaking less than two weeks after after attacks in Paris raised fears of terrorism worldwide, Obama said "the fact is is that we live in the greatest country on Earth and we are blessed in so many ways."

Less seriously, Obama noted that one of the turkeys got very close to White House aide David Simas.

"Simas, is he attacking you?" Obama said at one point. "Are you OK? ... My political director is getting pecked by TOTUS!"

The president weighed in on one of the Thanksgiving football games, sticking up for his hometown Chicago Bears.

"I'm grateful for the fact the Bears are going to beat the Packers this weekend," Obama said (though it must be said that the Pack is a big favorite, and the game is in Green Bay).

He also took an obligatory poke at the news media: "I've got to listen to my critics say I'm often too soft on turkeys, and I'm sure the press is digging into whether or not the turkeys I've pardoned have really rededicated their lives to being good turkey citizens."

Obama pointed out that this was his seventh turkey pardoning as president.

"Time flies," he said. "Even though turkeys don't."

As the crowd chuckled. Obama said: "I thought it was good. You think it's funny too, don't you?"

Also: "I know some folks think this tradition is a little silly. I do not disagree."

Only one media covered it? still seems a bit odd. Like old footage, especially when it was GREEN outside, sun shining while he pardoned, and the next day, everything was dead brown, and baron. Then when you not suppose to be observant... just odd, and one heck of time lapse.

Show the contempt for the general public that the MSM and this Administration both share.

Just have this awful feeling something is going to go WRONG real soon, by the end of the year, beginning of next year, and there is nothing that will be done, because the gov't has destroyed us. Too late for a new president to take over. Bad feeling like shortly before 9/11.

    So, sorry, Thanks Jolie.

We could use a new Whitehouse, that one is so tainted, but all the valuables in there that can't be replaced.

How The US Sent ISIS To Syria

(The Proof That Every Westerner SHOULD See)

    November 28, 2015

The creation of ISIS is one of the most viral discussions on the Internet today. When ISIS first appeared in Syria and Iraq, it was not entirely clear from where they had come. The world was divided between the idea that ISIS was Assad’s creation and that it was the result of supporting what are called “moderate rebels” by the U.S and its allies.

After the bloody attacks in Paris that left 129 dead and more than 350 people injured, it has become clear that this extremist group is now threatening the existence of people throughout the world, not only in Syria and Iraq.

In Syria alone, 9 million people have been forced to leave their homes and escape outside the country, and most of them are not refugees in Europe. The situation in Iraq is quite similar. Important to remember is the fact that the U.S. knew about ISIS at least 3 years ago!

A secret Pentagon report dating back to 2012 was leaked earlier this year. The report, which was exposed by Ben Swann’s “Reality Check,” explains the dangers of what the U.S. government was doing in Syria at the time. Remember, that was in 2012.

The documents were leaked by Judicial Watch, who for many years has been engaged in obtaining sensitive U.S. government documents through freedom of information requests and lawsuits.

According to the video, it seems that ISIS was part of a big geopolitical game of chess to destabilize the Middle East. By this point, it should not be surprising to hear that elite, wealthy donors in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, which are three U.S. allies, funded the terrorist group of ISIS. http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/isi...ls-say-n208006

Moreover, US Vice-President Joe Biden has blamed Turkey and Qatar for allowing the rise of ISIS, saying they supported extremists with money and weapons in their continual efforts to overthrow the government of President Bashar al-Assad. https://www.rt.com/news/192880-biden-isis-us-allies/

Biden told the students at the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum at the Institute of Politics at Harvard University that Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE were “so determined to take down Assad.”

“The Turks… the Saudis, the Emirates, etc. What were they doing? They were so determined to take down Assad and essentially have a proxy Sunni-Shia war, what did they do? They poured hundreds of millions of dollars and tens, thousands of tonnes of weapons into anyone who would fight against Assad – except that the people who were being supplied were al-Nusra, and al-Qaeda, and the extremist elements of jihadis coming from other parts of the world. “
Mr. Biden also claimed that Turkey admitted it had let too many foreign fighters cross its border into Syria.

Later, Mr. Biden was forced to apologize to both the United Arab Emirates and Turkey for the comments, eliciting a wide range of commentary. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...e-east-allies/ http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/...84a_story.html http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-29502448

Cartoon Shows Why America Can No Longer Count On Obama To Keep Us Safe
    By Jason W. Stevens

    From Breitbart: http://www.breitbart.com/big-governm...cement-action/

The Obama administration has warned states to comply with federal efforts to resettle Syrian refugees in communities around the U.S. or else find their states subject to enforcement action.

In a letter this week, the Office of Refugee Resettlement threatens states concerned about resettling Syrians with punitive responses if they refuse to accept the refugees. ORR explains that states may not refuse ORR-funded benefits for refugees on the basis of religion and national origin.

“Accordingly, states may not categorically deny ORR-funded benefits and services to Syrian refugees,” ORR Director Robert Carey wrote in the letter. “Any state with such a policy would not be in compliance with the State Plan requirements, applicable statutes, and their own assurances, and could be subject to enforcement action, including suspension and termination.”

The agency also pointed to the Civil Rights Act of 1964, prohibiting discrimination for federally funded assistance benefits. Refugees are immediately eligible for welfare and other benefits upon admission to the U.S.

“Thus, it is not permissible to deny federally funded benefits such as Medicaid or [Temporary Assistance for Needy Families] to refugees who otherwise meet the eligibilities requirements,” the letter reads. “ORR is committed to ensuring that all refugees receive assistance and services vital to achieving their potential in the United States and becoming self-sufficient, integrated members of our communities.” …

Sununu: President Obama Threw 'the Pentagon Under the Bus'

Former New Hampshire Governor John Sununu sounded off on tonight's "On The Record" about President Barack Obama stating that his administration is still working on a "complete strategy" to combat ISIS in Iraq.

"When a finalized plan is presented to me by the Pentagon, then I will share it with the American people," Obama said while speaking at the G7 economic summit. "We don't yet have a complete strategy because it requires commitments on the part of the Iraqis..."

Sununu said that Obama "threw the Pentagon under the bus."

"He has received ... from the folks at the Pentagon many strategies and he has rejected them," Sununu said. "This is a president that thinks that his beautiful rhetoric can overcome the mistakes he makes by bad actions or inactions. He believes in noise, not performance."

Sununu said that ISIS is not going to go away and that this is a real problem.

"This president is unwilling to accept the responsibility America has as the only superpower in the world to help stabilize things," he stated.

The Washington Examiner reports on how the Obama administration is attempting to strong arm governors into accepting Syrian refugees:

The federal government shot a warning to state resettlement officials, telling them they do not have the authority to deny the entry of Syrian refugees.

In a letter sent Wednesday, Office of Refugee Resettlement Director Robert Carey said he is aware of the concern expressed by some local leaders in allowing Syrian refugees into their states. Carey advised that “all refugees are subject to the highest level of security checks of any category of traveler to the United States,” in what he called a “multi-layered and intensive screening and vetting process involving multiple law enforcement, national security, and intelligence across the Federal government.”

“Syrian refugees are subject to even more precautions than other refugees,” he added.

More than half of the nation’s governors have pledged not to allow Syrian refugees into their states following the wave of terror attacks that hit Paris earlier in the month, which left 130 dead and hundreds more injured. It is suspected that at least one of the attackers gained entry into France through the European refugee resettlement program. The governors cited security concerns on the possibility of terrorists slipping into the U.S. using the refugee program.

States are required to provide “assistance and services … to refugees without regard to race, religion, nationality, sex or political position” according to the Refugee Act of 1980, the letter points out.

“States may not deny ORR-funded benefits and services to refugees based on a refugee’s country of origin or religious affiliation,” the letter states. “Accordingly, states may not deny ORR-funded benefits and services to Syrian refugees.” States that do not comply with these terms are subject to “enforcement action, including suspension or termination.”

According to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, discrimination based on race or origin is against the law in all programs that receive federally-funded assistance, the letter adds.

The letter, first reported on by the Houston Chronicle, marks the first official statement by the federal government in response to state governors’ public declarations that they do not welcome the entry of Syrian refugees into their states.

Mission Creep: Pentagon’s Shady Ramp-Up in Syria Reminiscent of Vietnam

Resisting for weeks, the Pentagon has finally admitted that "advisers" in Syria will be involved in military ops, but the US still remains cagey on strategic specifics. That vagueness may be intentional, a move that’s been used by Washington in the past, just before becoming embroiled in the nation’s largest military mistake of the 20th century.

With previous plans to combat Daesh, also known as ISIL/the Islamic State, in tatters, the Obama administration earlier announced plans to send as many as 50 Special Forces "advisers" into Syria. This, the president insisted, did not constitute a reversal of his plans to keep US troops out of Syria, as they would not be involved in combat operations.

But on Tuesday, US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter gave testimony before the House Armed Services Committee which seems to suggest otherwise.

"These special operators will over time be able to conduct raids, free hostages, gather intelligence, and capture ISIL leaders," he said

On Monday, an anonymous official inside the Defense Department also told Defense News that the deployment of these initial Special Forces amounts to “breaking the seal.” If successful, the Pentagon could send even more troops into Syria, a country in which the United States is not officially fighting a war.

Last month, President Obama told ABC News that Daesh has been contained. This statement came just days before the terrorist group launched a wave of deadly attacks across Paris, and on Tuesday, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Marine Gen. Joseph Dunford pointed out how premature the president’s claim really was.

Taken together, these facts seem to suggest that the Obama administration may be planning a much larger and more aggressive offensive than it has let on. Both Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham have called for sending up to 20,000 troops to fight Daesh.

But specifics remain elusive. The Defense Department has not confirmed whether these Special Forces have already been deployed, nor has it put an exact number on how many personnel could ultimately be sent back into Iraq and Syria. But if past precedent is any indication, that ambiguity may be intentional on the Pentagon’s part.

The same strategy was used in the lead up to the Vietnam War. In the ramp-up to that war, former President Dwight D. Eisenhower deployed 900 advisors into Vietnam. This was then escalated by President Kennedy to 16,000, two years before the US ground war officially began.

That not-so-gradual escalation led to a war which ultimately killed as many as 800,000 people, including nearly 60,000 American soldiers.

    http://sputniknews.com/us/20151201/1...onnection.html

It is only a matter of time before America is drawn into another quagmire. Unfortunately, this will be another Afghanistan, a conflict which will never see an end. Interesting how they act only after other nations (Russia mainly) have actually taken matters into their own hands.
