Jack Kevorkian, convicted in assisted suicides, dies at 83

Dr. Jack Kevorkian, the audacious Michigan pathologist dubbed "Dr. Death" for his role in assisting the suicides of more than 100 terminally ill people, died early Friday at a Detroit-area hospital after a brief illness.

Stolen photo made him an international icon .
..Kevorkian, 83, died about 2:30 a.m. at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan, close friend and prominent attorney Mayer Morganroth said.

Morganroth said it appears Kevorkian — who had been hospitalized since last month with pneumonia and kidney problems — suffered a pulmonary thrombosis when a blood clot from his leg broke free and lodged in his heart, according to the Detroit Free Press.

"It was peaceful. He didn't feel a thing," Morganroth told the newspaper. According to the Associated Press, he said nurses played classical music by Kevorkian's favorite composer, Johann Sebastian Bach, before he died.

Dr. Jack Kevorkian poses with his "suicide machine" in Michigan, Feb. 6, 1991. Morganroth says Kevorkian was conscious Thursday night and the two spoke about leaving the hospital and getting ready for rehabilitation.

Morganroth told the Free Press that the hospital staff, doctors and nurses said Kevorkian's passing was "a tremendous loss and I agree with them. He did so much."

    No plans for memorial
Morganroth told the paper that he doubts anyone will assume Kevorkian's role in assisted suicide: "Who else would take those kind of risks?"

Kevorkian was freed in June 2007 after serving eight years of a 10- to 25-year sentence for second-degree murder. His lawyers had said he suffered from hepatitis C, diabetes and other problems, and he had promised in affidavits that he would not assist in a suicide if he was released.

How the elites make murder acceptable
Posted on October 12, 2015 by Bob Livingston

Murder is acceptable if it can be made to appear benevolent and passed off as “healthcare.”

Last week, Gov. Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown ensconced the state of California further into the death culture by signing into law doctor-prescribed suicide. This comes on the heels of the state’s mandatory vaccination law.

Proponents of the bill, like Brittany Maynard, a 29-year-old with brain cancer who left California to go to Oregon in 2014 to kill herself legally, claimed such a bill would clear the way for “a gentle death.”

So we have in America a state-sanctioned “gentle death” for those with “terminal illnesses” (a specious and arbitrary term), but states are ending or placing moratoriums on capital punishment because the drug cocktails used are considered “cruel and unusual punishment.”

What a twisted sense of morality. But it is received with little more than a sigh from the American people. We have fallen into the dishonoring and demeaning state of moral or value relativism. We no longer know right from wrong. Nothing is black and white. Everything is a shade of gray, which is to say that anything goes.

As California goes, so goes the nation. Yes, California was not the first state to allow assisted suicide. Montana, Oregon, Washington and Vermont preceded it. But it contains more than one-tenth of the U.S. population. How long will be before someone in another state without assisted suicide demands it all the way to the Supreme Court? It will then be law of the land, same as gay marriage.

Gov. Moonbeam, a Catholic, violated the magisterial teaching of the church and made “legal” that which is immoral and sinful. I have often said that politicians would sell out their mothers. Gov. Moonbeam has not only sold his mother, he’s knowingly sold his own soul.

California’s bill is modeled after Oregon’s, which has been in place for some 20 years. Both supposedly have safeguards to prevent abuses that would lead to people being killed without their consent. But those safeguards have failed — or, more likely, they’ve worked as their crafters intended.

From the National Right to Life News:

One of the major deeply flawed “safeguards” states that the patient is supposed to be terminally ill. Under the new California law, as in the other 3 states with similar laws, the patient is supposed to have six months to live or less.

However, we know that many people in Oregon who receive lethal prescriptions but postpone taking them long outlive their prognosis. This is not due merely to errors in prediction, commonplace though these are. It is because the term “terminally ill” is interpreted to include those likely to die within the time limit without life-saving treatment, even if they could live indefinitely with treatment.

Consequently, this so-called safeguard has allowed the killing of diabetics, those with HIV, or those with hepatitis simply because without treatment they would die within six months — even though with treatment they could live much longer. Assisting suicide legalization has led people to give up on treatment and unnecessarily lose years of their lives.

Other abuses ranging from patients with dementia and mental illness receiving a lethal dose, to numerous non-terminally ill people getting prescriptions, to pressure from the state health plans to utilize the cheaper suicide option have been documented and exposed. Nevertheless, the real depth and number of abuses is difficult to know.
I have long said that the term “healthcare” is cover for euthanasia. Population control is a life and death necessity to modern governments.

Almost all of you have many times read in the mainstream media about the need for population control and all the dire consequences of overpopulation. Even private newsletter writers tout the “overpopulation” line without any idea how their convictions were formulated.

The rule is that we can never believe the establishment media and expect to have the truth.

Population control lies at the heart and soul of the New World Order. It is not a goal. It is a blueprint of action.

Nonproductive consumers are defined as all retired people, all terminally ill, all unborn children — even all children below age 15 — and all who have been in accidents leaving them nonproductive consuming dependents.

Believe it to not, “mercy” killing can and will be justified to millions of unthinking people by some form of twisted morality. The Nazis did it. We are still condemning them. But what about American “Nazis” who are doing the exact same thing? Is there something wrong with our perception of things that we can’t see through all the propaganda and conclude that mass killing under some mask is epidemic in America?

There are many ways to subtly kill millions of people without any announcement or admission. Population control is here and now. If one dies by execution, it can be execution without one’s knowledge.

Why does population control have such an urgent priority? The answer is quite simple. The U.S. government corporation is a business enterprise run by an “establishment.” It is a unique corporation in that it has the power vested in the national bank (the Federal Reserve) to create “money” (credit). Although the creation of money is a monopoly power of the government, it has to be strictly regulated in order for the “monetary” system to work, as well as to survive.

It is in the regulation process that population control is required. As long as the authorities can balance production with consumption, there is a continuous flow of wealth to the government, making the U.S. government corporation the wealthiest and most profitable in the world. Because of its sheer size, there is greater police power to impose its wishes upon the world.

It is when consumption (and this is the key word) becomes greater than production that real resources (wealth) begin to reverse back to the nonproductive consumers. This drain (loss of profits) is threatened by a top-heavy and growing retired and aging population, as well as all the other nonproducing consumers listed above. This is happening now, and it cannot and will not be allowed.

It is not even a secret, though it is missed by the vast majority of sheeple, who remain unaware of the subtle deceptive devices of the elite.

Again from the National Right to Life News:

In a book published in 1998, Derek Humphry, the founder of the Hemlock Society (a predecessor of Compassion and Choices), wrote supportively of the use of assisting suicide as “one measure of cost containment.”

“[T]he elderly,” he wrote, are “putting a strain on the health care system that will only increase and cannot be sustained.” Speaking of people with disabilities, he wrote, “People with chronic conditions account for a disproportionately large share of health care use, both services and supplies.”

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the president’s Special Adviser for Health Policy during the creation of Obamacare, has written that he believes many healthcare treatments should be denied to those under 15 and over 65 to save money, his rationale being that only people between 15 and 65 are beneficial to society.

Enron adviser and Keynesian statist mouthpiece for elite in The New York Times, Paul Krugman, has also written of the need for “death panels” because “healthcare costs will have to be controlled” under Obamacare. Of course Sarah Palin was right on the Obamacare death panels.

Dying under the pretense of sickness care is more benevolent than dying by a firing squad. Sickness care under all pretenses is benevolent. It is not possible for many Americans to identify sickness care with death.

Firing squads and death chambers cost the system money. On the other hand, imagine how much the medical system stands to profit from “sickness care” in America.

Arranging euthanasia by “mercy killing” and/or “sickness care” is far more acceptable and even benevolent. It’s a simple trick of confusing cause and effect.

Baby killing (abortion) is a growing industry (57 million soon-to-be-born and counting) backed by all kinds of monstrous justification. But by far, mass killing is more subtle and disguised. To name just three, there is medical killing under the pretense of treatment. This would include withholding known cures for all degenerative diseases.

Then there are mass inoculations, setting the population up for terminal illnesses 20 to 30 years later and leading to the perceived need for “gentle death.” I certainly would include in this the great annual effort every fall and winter to give free flu shots. Vaccines are an assault upon the people under the pretense of healthcare. It is forced medication through persuasion.

If there is a very rare protest, the “authorities” just say that an occasional death is unavoidable and is for the “greater good.” That term the “greater good” is statist philosophy that the people are cattle and some have to be sacrificed.

But mass inoculations kill en masse. It’s silent murder as “healthcare.” Would you say this is the “perfect crime”? Incredible? Yes, the more incredible, the more perfect the crime.

Vaccines kill natural immunity. Natural exposure to “germs” in childhood can lead to natural immunity and long-term health. Health authorities kill infectious microorganisms with the mass use of multiple vaccines.

No. 3 is the commercial food industry, whose products are now mass consumed, setting up mass malnutrition, starvation (full belly starvation) and, consequently, degenerative diseases because of weakened immune systems.

There is much more to this story, but we now clearly see why population control is an issue (a matter of money). We see who are the targets to reduce population: the nonproducing consumers. And finally, we see just some of the methods of extermination that almost no one suspects.

We are subtly being taught that death is desirable and even glorious. It will finally be framed that death is a service to our fellow man.

The greatest reward of a death cult is to love death and translate and impute the love of death to the public mind. We must come to love “big brother” so much that we desire to die.

Some of you may remember the 1973 movie “Soylent Green” starring Edward G. Robinson and Charlton Heston. People could volunteer their own death and “the system” was making food out of the corpses for human consumption. How far are we from that, really?

    http://personalliberty.com/how-the-e...er-acceptable/

This train of thought has been around since the 1920s. The idea that a person that can't "carry his own " should be done away with was especially promoted by the "progressive" socialist hero George Bernard Shaw. They admired and encouraged the beliefs of the German National Socialist Party throughout the 30s and 40s. Look for yourself type "George Bernard interviews on Utube" on any web brower.

Of course there are those that will say this is paranoid, silly etc but why the big drive for gun control, like the Nazis? Who sought to eliminate the "unfit and burdens to society"? Government healthcare is just the ticket, Just look at the money the taxpayers can save by providing suicide assistence for the hopeless?
How many times have the doctors been wrong when pronouncing a person is beyond hope and will not recover.

OK, OK, OK the doctors say I'm dead, the medical community now has permission to assist me in killing myself. My question is who will be next? Will it be the person that has a brain injury that government doctors say has "no quality of life" and we should help them out of their misery? Maybe the retarded that depend on gov. assistence? How about the senoirs, they are not very productive anymore and have become a burden to our healthcare system (cost to much to keep them alive after age 70).

This is a sick path that some wish to take. As for me, I take the path of hope and seek a brighter horizon in the future. I will have to fight death and I know death will win in the end but I will fight anyway and yes dear friends your tax dollars may have to support me because I'm sticking around until the end provided you do not pass laws that hasten my demise.

My how the morals and attitude of society is getting sicker and sicker.

    ..

whether or not to give birth to a baby is not a basic human right unless you are talking about the baby itself. The baby has a basic human right to be born. The mother is just committing murder with abortion and abortion is not a basic human right. If you know that if you get pregnant and cannot afford that child, then use birth control or abstain. Problem of pregnancy solved. If birth control doesn't work, which in some cases (such a misuse) and pregnancy occurs, give the baby up for adoption to the millions of people who would love to have and raise the baby that so many women so callously dispose of.

    ..

"... it is received with little more than a sigh from the American people. "
Simply because the dims burned out my moral outrage years ago when they legalized "partial birth abortion" e.g. brain pithing a child in the process of being born. The current "ho hum" over the sale of baby body parts as if they were used car parts. There is nothing left .. th Chinese water torture drip, drip drip has worn us down.
