Honduras arrests five Syrians heading to US with fake passports
    By Jesse Byrnes
    November 18, 2015

Authorities in Honduras say they have arrested five Syrian nationals who were attempting to travel to the United States using stolen Greek passports, according to Reuters.

Authorities said there was no apparent indication the Syrians were among suspects linked to last week's attacks in Paris, the news outlet reported.

Debate has raged since the Friday attacks over whether terrorists may attempt to slip into the U.S. after reports that one Paris attacker may have come to Europe mixed in with Syrian refugees.

A French official said a passport found near a Paris suspect's body and had passed through Greece border controls was probably stolen, The New York Times reported.

Obama vows to veto bill increasing screening for refugees
    November 18, 2015

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama is vowing to veto a bill from House Republicans that would increase screening for Syrian and Iraqi refugees before they enter the United States.

The White House says the legislation would introduce "unnecessary and impractical requirements" that would harm efforts to assist some of the world's most vulnerable people.

The bill would add a new requirement for FBI background checks. It does not call for ending the refugee program or require religious screenings, as some Republicans have demanded.

Obama, who is traveling in Asia, has been sharply critical of Republicans for trying to bar Syrian refugees following the Paris attacks.

The House is set to vote on the legislation Thursday. Democratic leaders have turned against it, saying it would essentially keep refugees out of the U.S. entirely.

"unnecessary and impractical requirements" - i guess O doesn't think it necessary or practical to keep america and americans safe I think if he could he would veto the republican party or anyone who does not bow to his wishes and if he couldn't do that he would assign them to the jv and 'contain' them. I have never known a president who outlaws bullying but continues to try and bully those who do not put him on a pedestal while divides this country instead of uniting them. he appears to have more concerns for the feelings of islamists, including isis, than those who have been beheaded by them. he wants to close industries in the US in what he calls the interests of the world while he flies all over the world leaving his footprints and berates citizens for polluting the world... except those who own their own private jets, yachts with multiples rooms, mansions from east to west and north to south. I do believe he is confused or.........................

John Bel Edwards initially took a different position, and then adjusted it when he saw how far away from the majority of the public he was, and is now whining about Vitter’s messaging pointing out his initial mistake and reshuffling while offering up ...

Missing Syrian Refugee Surfaces in Washington D.C.

    By Steven H. Ahle - November 18, 2015

A Syrian refugee who was brought into Louisiana by Barack Mohammad Hussein Obama, went missing just two days after arriving in the United States. The state of Louisiana was able to track him without any help from the Obama caliphate. They traced him to Washington D.C., a city that Jeh Johnson and Obama don’t plan on settling any Syrian refugees in. My guess is they were able to trace him thanks to his use of the EBT card they get as soon as they get off the boat. Other than terror, why would a refugee leave Louisiana, a state that was providing him with food and shelter, and head out to Washington?

Barack Obama has said that Republicans are afraid of widows and children because of their opposition to bringing terrorists into the country. This refugee is a male. He is neither a widow nor a child, so unless Obama is saying he is only bringing in widows and children, he is a cheap, two-bit liar. He made that lie even after we found out that at least one of the Paris terrorists was a refugee taken in by Greece.

On Wednesday, we learned exactly what is the vetting process for refugees coming to this country. Number one, they must fill out an application. Since Syria keeps no database of their citizens, the refugees can put down they are the illegitimate child of Mother Teresa and Mr. Rogers and the government will accept that. Once they are done with that, there is an “interview'” which could go something like this:

    Q: Are you a terrorist?

    A: No.

Q: Have you ever committed an act of terrorism?

    A: Not yet.

Welcome to America. Here is $500 in cash, and EBT card, the key to your new apartment and your food stamps. Is there anything else I can help you with?

Yes. Where can I buy 500 pounds of fertilizer and rent a truck?

No problem. Let me call you a cab. Our treat.
Why the refugee went to Washington, if known, has not been released.

‘US governors’ ban on Syrian refugees - just political posturing’

The US is largely a country of immigrants. That is how this country was built, says US human and labor rights lawyer Dan Kovalik. It would be “un-American” and immoral not to take in more Syrian refugees, he adds.

So far, 26 US governors, mostly Republicans, have announced they would block the acceptance of thousands of migrants into their states. They said that they will do whatever they can to stop the relocation of Syrian refugees into their jurisdictions.

Dan Kovalik thinks the US should take in refugees.

“In terms of numbers - that is probably hard to determine, I would say certainly in the hundreds of thousands. I feel that… every country under international law has a duty to take in refugees. And I would say the US has a particular duty to do it given that it has a lot of responsibility to bear for the refugee crisis from the Middle East,” he told RT.

He said that countries like Turkey are taking refugees and Syria took in a million Iraqi refugees after and during the war in Iraq.

Kovalik says it “is actually the poor countries that take in the most refugees, which is often forgotten. And, yes, it is unfair for a rich country that has gone to war with the Middle East and caused this crisis now to take in no more refugees.”

Commenting on the timing of the statements by US governors, Kovalik said that “we are getting into the height of the presidential race and it is going to be a lot of political posturing. And the Republicans are certainly quite capable of shutting down the government over this sort of issue. Again I suspect they will die down by then”.

“My grandfather was an immigrant and most of us in this country are immigrants. The people who lived here before us were largely killed. So, yeah, we are largely a country of immigrants. That is how this country was built. It would be un-American, it would be immoral not to take in more refugees,” he said.

Kovalik adds that the US is largely responsible for causing the current refugee crisis.

“If you look what the US has been doing in the last decades in the Middle East and Latin America, for example, there is a refugee crisis there as well. The US has been going to war with large parts of the world, and it’s created this refugee crisis and it has to bear the responsibility for taking care of the people who have been victimized by it,” he said.

Also, states do not have the authority to ban refugees from settling in their territories, and their announcements are nothing but “political posturing,” Kovalik added.

“The question whether States themselves could prevent immigrants or immigration has been well settled by the Supreme Court of the US …[which] said it is up to the Federal government under the Constitution to decide immigration policy. And states have no say in that. And under the refugee act of the 1980s as well. President has authority to take in refugees, so, this argument about the states not wanting refugees etc. - that is just political posturing.”

Kovalik feels that the US “should have a liberal immigration policy that takes care of the most needy people.”

On Tuesday, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie commenting on US refugee policy said: “I don’t think orphans under five are being–you know, should be admitted into the United States at this point.” He pointed out they have no family in the US and it would raise the issue of “how are we going to care for these folks.”

According to Kovalik, that type of talk is “nonsense”.

“And frankly, it shows a certain ‘racist’ inheritance in US foreign policy that they would view a baby as dangerous. It kind of shows that the US views itself at war with the entire world and that is why we are in this problem. And it is unacceptable,” he adds.

Kovalik says that if we want to stop terrorism “a good place to start is ending this so-called war on terrorism because it is only making it worse. It is time to build a stable world in the Middle East and not try to bomb our way to fix our problems.”

Syrian wives and mothers left behind condemn men who have fled the country, and ask:
‘Who will free us? Who will protect us?’ It is wrong to leave your country’
Women living in refugee camps in Syria asked about men fleeing to Europe
They accuse men of abandoning their country in times of crisis
Another say it is forbidden under Islam to leave your home nation

now it makes even more sense when the pictures of the refugees entering europe show a majority of young men and few women, children and elderly.

i would like to ask these politicians (and O) the question: if you were going to have intercourse with a person you do not know well, wouldn't you use protection? that is exactly what the americans are saying in response to this admin wanting to pour thousands of unknowns into our country without having documentation or any proof that they are not isis members or sympathizers or just plain terrorists. some of these politicians are criticizing those who want to protect our nation by making snide comments about them being afraid of widows and orphans. someone forgot to tell them that terrorists have no boundaries on age or gender. didn't a female just blow herself up in paris? are not small palestinian pre-k children, male and female, taught to kill jews? I have seen pics of children recruited by isis to fight their fight

70 ISIS TOADS ARRESTED IN THE USA: Including Some of Obama’s ‘Sweet & Innocent REFUGEES’

Can you imagine how many more of these will be among the thousands of refugees that Obama plans on importing to the US?

US authorities have charged at least 66 men and women with ISIS-related terror plots on American soil – including a handful of refugees, Daily Mail Online can reveal.

The terror group has set its sights on Washington, D.C. as it vows to further infiltrate the West and ramp up its blood-soaked offensive.

President Obama insists that ‘slamming the door’ on Syrian refugees fleeing ISIS would be a betrayal of American values.

But 34 governors are refusing to take in any more, in case jihadi fighters slip into their states and repeat the carnage of Paris.

Analysis by Daily Mail Online reveals that a handful of foiled plots have already involved immigrants accused of harboring sympathy for ISIS.

The threat also comes from within, with American teenagers and Islamic converts among those seduced by the group’s torrent of chilling online propaganda.

They include a U.S. Air Force veteran accused of waging war on the country he once served and a National Guard soldier who allegedly plotted to gun down his own colleagues.

Others are seemingly ordinary American citizens, including a young nurse, a pizza parlor boss and schoolgirls tricked into becoming shrouded ISIS brides.

Some have conspired to travel or send friends abroad to link up with fundamentalist fighters while others have planned for jihad closer to home – with Capitol Hill among the targets for a foiled bombing raid.

The incidents detailed here are among dozens of alleged disrupted by police and federal agents since ISIS began to rise from the flames of the Syrian civil war. The earliest arrest was 18 months ago.
