One of the big “gotcha” questions liberal media bozos constantly try to pull on conservative presidential candidates is on the issue of same-sex marriage.

This, of course, is to make hardcore conservative candidates — most of which are strong Christians — look like bigots who hate gays, which isn’t true, but modern journalists have never allowed the truth to get in the way of pushing an agenda.

What’s hilarious is how liberal journalists will constantly bash the snot out of conservatives for being “anti-gay,” meanwhile ISIS is executing homosexuals left and right, yet no one is saying anything about it.

After a string of questions on his opinion on same-sex marriage and gay rights, Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (TX) called out the left and the leftist media (particularly MSNBC) for “obsess[ing]” over opinions on sexuality while “ISIS is executing homosexuals.”

The comments came during a campaign stop Tuesday in Beaumont, where Cruz met with county officials and other local leaders to discuss his positions on foreign policy, promoting economic growth, and defending the Constitution. CRUZ: Is there something about the left — and I am going to put the media in this category — that is obsessed with sex? ISIS is executing homosexuals — you want to talk about gay rights? This week was a very bad week for gay rights because the expansion of ISIS, the expansion of radical, theocratic, Islamic zealots that crucify Christians, that behead children and that murder homosexuals - that ought to be concerning you far more than asking six questions all on the same topic.

Cruz specifically worked in a dig at MSNBC, saying, “With respect, I would suggest not drawing your questions from MSNBC. They have very few viewers and they are a radical and extreme partisan outlet.”

Someone is going to need a little burn cream after that one, yes sir.

Cruz truly nailed these folks to the wall, and as usual, showed how a man of conviction handles ridiculously biased media without getting super angry and losing credibility, an important trait to anyone who wants to sit in the Oval Office.

The media’s obvious hypocrisy on the topic of gay rights is pretty clear to anyone with a brain. If you’re truly concerned about homosexual rights, then why aren’t you calling for an end to the brutal executions taking place in Muslim led countries?

Is it because of fear? Or because of a deeply flawed understanding of how the world works and a refusal to acknowledge real, senseless evil exists in the world?

Regardless, Cruz demonstrated here that he’s not afraid of taking it to the media, which means the next year is going to be very, very interesting.

When the rules of the Senate are used as a cover for lies, deceit and plunder, then those rules have ceased to serve their legitimate function.

We the people sent Republicans there in record numbers:
• Control of the House in 2010
• Control of the Senate in 2014

What have we got to show for it?

○ While publicly denouncing ObamaCare on the campaign trail, BOTH McConnell and Boehner were secretly negotiating with the admin to fund every nickel of it. (CRomnibus)
○ This Senate confirmed Loretta Lynch (Holder 2.0).
○ Turned the Senate's Constitutional Treaty review authority upside down by requiring a super majority to STOP the Iran deal. (Thanks, Corker)

In fact, what has this Congress done that the Pelosi and Reid Congress wouldn't have?

You, the very people we sent to stop the "fundamental transformation" of America by this administration have become willing accomplices in it.

And there you are, using the Senate Rules to rebuke someone who's exposing the details of how The GOP Establishment (that we elected) is selling us out...? BS!!!

At what point did you completely sell out, Senator?
