Obama Lectures About Gay Rights During Press Conference,
Kenyan President Won’t Have it

President Obama is in the African nation of Kenya today, his father’s homeland.

During a joint press conference with Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, Obama began speaking about gay marriage “rights,” which is a big no-no in that country.
Kenya’s penal code states that sexual activity between same-sex partners is punishable by up to 14 years in jail. And to think, American gays have it so rough when the baker refuses to bake a cake!

A 2007 survey showed that 96% of Kenyans believe that “homosexuality should be rejected.” Also, a 2011 survey showed that 89% of gays who were outed or came out to their families were disowned.

Here are Obama’s remarks…

“When you start treating people differently not because of any harm they are doing to anybody, but because they are different, that’s the path whereby freedoms begin to erode, and bad things happen. And when a government gets in a habit of people treating people differently, those habits can spread.”

“As an African-American, I am painfully aware of what happens when people are treated differently under the law.”

Kenyatta’s response…

“The fact of the matter is Kenya and the U.S. share so many values: common love for democracy, entrepreneurship, value for families — these are some things that we share. But there are some things that we must admit we don’t share. Our culture, our societies don’t accept.”

“It is very difficult for us to be able to impose on people that which they themselves do not accept.. This is why I repeatedly say for Kenyans today the [gay rights issue] is generally a non-issue. We want to focus on other areas.”

Not only does Obama want to change up tradition and values here at home, but even when he enters another country, he attempts to force his backwards ways on them.

That’s wrong.

Did you notice 44 bringing race into the equation? Oh, I’m a black man in America, and I’ve suffered greatly. Yeah, I mean I’m the leader of the free world and all, but…racism.

To sum up: Obama wants Kenya to support gay “rights,” but he just freed up billions of dollars to Iran as they kill gays for, wait for it, being gay!
