    While we were sleeping ...

The Trans Pacific Partnership has been in hot dispute because it hands over United States freedom and sovereignty to multinational corporations. The TPP would give 80% of the U.S economy to these global corporations. This agreement will displace millions of American workers because the corporations will outsource jobs to pay lower salaries.

TPP Passes: Obama Now A Dictator

Foundation of global government cemented with passage of secretive bill

    by Alex Jones | Infowars.com | June 24, 2015

One of the most devastating blows to US sovereignty since the country’s founding was dealt today as the Senate handed President Obama his Trans-Pacific Partnership victory.

Despite massive opposition from the American people, Tea Party Republicans and a majority of Democrats, Obama was granted fast-track authority by a 60-38 vote.

Sections of the TPP published by Wikileaks have revealed the treaty’s vast influence over multiple areas including individual rights, internet freedom and even the rule of law itself. Unelected corporate boards and the President can now wield unprecedented control over almost every aspect of human activity.

“If you read, write, publish, think, listen, dance, sing or invent; if you farm or consume food; if you’re ill now or might one day be ill, the TPP has you in its crosshairs,” Wikileaks’ Julian Assange wrote.

Secret TPP chapters regarding immigration also grant President Obama an even greater ability to erode the country’s Southern border.

“Obama will be able to finalize all three of the Obamatrade deals, without any Congressional input…” notes Breitbart.

The TPP, which covers 12 countries and more than 40% of the world’s economy, will place North America under the same global government structure as the European Union, where laws are increasingly crafted outside of public influence.

While We Were Distracted With The Confederate Flag Flap, Congress Quietly Forfeited our Entire Economic Future Via Fast Track Trade Authority

While America was distracted by a contrived, pre-planned Confederate flag distraction, the U.S. Congress forfeited the entire economic future of the country by quietly passing so-called “fast-track authority” which will allow President Obama to approve the TPP “free trade” agreement.

The TPP, as you may have heard, outright surrenders U.S. sovereignty to multinational corporations, handing them total global monopolies over labor practices, immigration, Big Pharma drug pricing, GMO food labeling, criminalization of garden seeds and much more. In all, the TPP hands over control of 80% of the U.S. economy to global monopolists, and the TPP is set up to enable those corporations to engage in virtuallyunlimited toxic chemical pollution, medical monopolization, the gutting of labor safety laws and much more.

Plus, did I mention the TPP will displace millions of American works as corporations outsource jobs to foreign workers? While corporations rake in the profits from new global powers, everyday American workers will lose their livelihoods and their jobs (not to mention their pensions).

Essentially, America just got sold out by the politicians. And it was incredibly easy to pull off, too. First, America was distracted by a contrived, pre-planned mass hysteria / outrage event now known as the Confederate flag flap. Hilariously, this literal false flag controversy doesn’t even involve the actual Confederate flag. It involves a battle flag that people mistakenly think is the Confederate flag. (But who needs historical accuracy when there’s hysteria to spread?)

While Amazon.com was frantically deleting Confederate flag products from its website and everybody was going bat-crap insane over the 1970’s comedy TV series Dukes of Hazzard and its use of the so-called Confederate flag on a hot rod car, Republicans and the President were busy committing outright treason at the highest levels: surrendering American sovereignty and economically enslaving all of America’s future children.

And that’s the tragic irony of all this: While the political left falsely believed it was denouncing slavery by pressuring every online retailer and government entity to ban the Confederate flag, the U.S. Congress was busy enacting a whole new level of total economic enslavement for everyone, regardless of their skin color.

While ignorant “activists” ran around in mass hysteria, thinking they were banishing a symbol of enslavement to the history books, they were actually providing the necessary public distraction for quiet passage of the TPP’s fast-track authority.

In other words, they played right into the hands of the real slave masters: the globalist, monopolist corporations and their fascist government puppets who betray the People at every opportunity.

Believe me: These corporations don’t care about the skin color of their slave workers. They gladly enslave everyone, including you and me, if we’re stupid enough to allow our own elected representatives to forfeit America’s future (which they just did).

Here’s how much corporations paid US senators to fast-track the TPP bill

Critics of the controversial Trans-Pacific Partnership are unlikely to be silenced by an analysis of the flood of money it took to push the pact over its latest hurdle

Over a decade in the making, the controversial Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is reaching its climax and as Congress hotly debates the biggest trade deal in a generation, its backers have turned on the cash spigot in the hopes of getting it passed. “We’re very much in the endgame,” US trade representative Michael Froman told reporters over the weekend at a meeting of the 21-member Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum on the resort island of Boracay. His comments came days after TPP passed another crucial vote in the Senate.

That vote, to give Barack Obama the authority to speed the bill through Congress, comes as the president’s own supporters, senior economists and a host of activists have lobbied against a pact they argue will favor big business but harm US jobs, fail to secure better conditions for workers overseas and undermine free speech online.

Those critics are unlikely to be silenced by an analysis of the sudden flood of money it took to push the pact over its latest hurdle.

Fast-tracking the TPP, meaning its passage through Congress without having its contents available for debate or amendments, was only possible after lots of corporate money exchanged hands with senators. The US Senate passed Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) – the fast-tracking bill – by a 65-33 margin on 14 May. Last Thursday, the Senate voted 62-38 to bring the debate on TPA to a close.

Those impressive majorities follow months of behind-the-scenes wheeling and dealing by the world’s most well-heeled multinational corporations with just a handful of holdouts.

Using data from the Federal Election Commission, this chart shows all donations that corporate members of the US Business Coalition for TPP made to US Senate campaigns between January and March 2015, when fast-tracking the TPP was being debated in the Senate:

Out of the total $1,148,971 given, an average of $17,676.48 was donated to each of the 65 “yea” votes.
The average Republican member received $19,673.28 from corporate TPP supporters. The average Democrat received $9,689.23 from those same donors.

The amounts given rise dramatically when looking at how much each senator running for re-election received.

Two days before the fast-track vote, Obama was a few votes shy of having the filibuster-proof majority he needed. Ron Wyden and seven other Senate Democrats announced they were on the fence on 12 May, distinguishing themselves from the Senate’s 54 Republicans and handful of Democrats as the votes to sway.

In just 24 hours, Wyden and five of those Democratic holdouts – Michael Bennet of Colorado, Dianne Feinstein of California, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Patty Murray of Washington, and Bill Nelson of Florida – caved and voted for fast-track.

Bennet, Murray, and Wyden – all running for re-election in 2016 – received $105,900 between the three of them. Bennet, who comes from the more purple state of Colorado, got $53,700 in corporate campaign donations between January and March 2015, according to Channing’s research.

Almost 100% of the Republicans in the US Senate voted for fast-track – the only two non-votes on TPA were a Republican from Louisiana and a Republican from Alaska.

Senator Rob Portman of Ohio, who is the former US trade representative, has been one of the loudest proponents of the TPP. (In a comment to the Guardian Portman’s office said: “Senator Portman is not a vocal proponent of TPP - he has said it’s still being negotiated and if and when an agreement is reached he will review it carefully.”) He received $119,700 from 14 different corporations between January and March, most of which comes from donations from Goldman Sachs ($70,600), Pfizer ($15,700), and Procter & Gamble ($12,900). Portman is expected to run against former Ohio governor Ted Strickland in 2016 in one of the most politically competitive states in the country.

Seven Republicans who voted “yea” to fast-track and are also running for re-election next year cleaned up between January and March. Senator Johnny Isakson of Georgia received $102,500 in corporate contributions. Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri, best known for proposing a Monsanto-written bill in 2013 that became known as the Monsanto Protection Act, received $77,900 – $13,500 of which came from Monsanto.

Arizona senator and former presidential candidate John McCain received $51,700 in the first quarter of 2015. Senator Richard Burr of North Carolina received $60,000 in corporate donations. Eighty-one-year-old senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa, who is running for his seventh Senate term, received $35,000. Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, who will be running for his first full six-year term in 2016, received $67,500 from pro-TPP corporations.

“It’s a rare thing for members of Congress to go against the money these days,” said Mansur Gidfar, spokesman for the anti-corruption group Represent.Us. “They know exactly which special interests they need to keep happy if they want to fund their reelection campaigns or secure a future job as a lobbyist.
Everything you wanted to know about the Trans-Pacific Partnership – the trade agreement encompassing 40% of the global economy – but were afraid to ask http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2...ship-explainer

“How can we expect politicians who routinely receive campaign money, lucrative job offers, and lavish gifts from special interests to make impartial decisions that directly affect those same special interests?” Gidfar said. “As long as this kind of transparently corrupt behavior remains legal, we won’t have a government that truly represents the people.”

Here’s a Big Reason Why Liberals are DESPERATE To Distract You With Flag Controversies
Written by Allen West on July 13, 2015

We’re distracted in many various ways by the liberal progressive media. Their attempts to keep the American masses under some inane state of mindlessness or faux rage becomes more and more evident with each passing week.

I remember how the progressive socialist world went apoplectic because I stated the left has a propaganda machine that would even make Goebbels proud. I made that statement due to a member of the leftist media asking what I thought about a recent poll that showed many Americans believed the GOP controlled both houses of Congress. At that time, the GOP only had a majority in the House of Representatives. As predicted, the leftists ran stupid because they believe themselves to be the purveyors of what can and cannot be said. Their aim was to promulgate their coordinated media message that I was comparing the Democrat party to the Nazis. It’s just that it’s the media’s cultivation of mass hysteria that’s enabled the left to dominate the American political intelligence quotient. This is a purposeful endeavor, and anyone challenging them and illuminating the American people to the contrary is the target of their angst and their assault.

Well — with all due respect — they can “kiss my grits.” There are so many hard truths the liberal media’s avoiding and we all know why. I’d love to do a “man on the street” interview about the current Iranian negotiations vs. the Confederate battle flag and compare the general public’s awareness of each.

One of the hard truths the media seeks to sidestep is the fiscal state of the Union. They fail to cover the fact that when Barack Obama took office, the debt of the United States was $10.67T; today that debt’s exploded to $18.3T. However, there’s an even greater concern when we include the unfunded liabilities of the mandatory spending side of our budget. The mandatory side of the budget, as opposed to the discretionary side, includes Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security an net interest on the debt — what we’ve borrowed. That number expands Americans’ debt to nearly $100T. This is a great concern. All estimations point toward United States debt close to $20T at the end of Obama’s presidency. I want everyone to understand what that means: Barack Obama will have singlehandedly added more debt to the United States than all previous presidential administrations combined.

Now, for the liberal progressive media to not report this fact at a time when’re witnessing the financial collapse of Greece — and soon could be Portugal, Italy and Spain — is unconscionable. This is indeed a masterful manipulation of existing truth, which we must not be afraid to castigate as Goebbelian and Orwellian. And I’ve no fear in doing so.

The news about our debt is just not promising — in fact, it’s downright alarming. Perhaps we should be talking more about this, rather than what Donald Trump said three weeks ago. As reported by CNSnews.com:

Testifying in the U.S Senate yesterday [Friday], Congressional Budget Office Director Keith Hall warned that the publicly held debt of the U.S. government, when measured as a percentage of Gross Domestic Product, is headed toward a level the United States has seen only once in its history—at the end of World War II.

To simply contain the debt at the high historical level where it currently sits—74 percent of GDP—would require either significant increases in federal tax revenue or decreases in non-interest federal spending (or a combination of the two).

Historically, U.S. government debt held by the public, measured as a percentage of GDP, hit its peak in 1945 and 1946, when it was 104 percent and 106 percent of GDP respectively.

In 2015, the CBO estimates that the U.S. government debt held by the public will be 74 percent of GDP. That is higher than the 69-percent-of-GDP debt the U.S. government had in 1943—the second year after Pearl Harbor.

By 2039, CBO projects, the debt held by the public will increase to 101 percent of GDP and by 2040 to 103 percent GDP. At that point, Hall told the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, the “debt would still be on an upward path relative to the size of the economy.

What y’all must understand is that the “publicly held debt” is the current $18.3T number; it does NOT include our unfunded liabilities. What this clearly states is that our economic growth, as measured by GDP, is stagnating. Now some of you will say, heck, they’re talking about 2039 — well, folks, that’s only 24 years from now. I plan on staying healthy — much to the chagrin of the progressive left and in defiance of Obamacare — so I’ll be 78. However, my daughters Aubrey and Austen will be 46 and 42, respectively, in 2039. What will I be leaving them and their children?

You can bet the liberal progressives will embrace more and greater taxation as a means to rectify this situation. After all, if those pesky one-percenters would just pay their fair share and spread their wealth, we could have shared prosperity and can sit around in a socialist utopia sharing misery rather than success. This is what the media should be sharing with the American people. This is what we should be pounding all these presidential wannabes about: the simple question of how would you stimulate free enterprise/opportunity economic growth in America. Instead, we get the promulgation of the pop culture liberal media approved message — like I really could care about Bill Cosby right now when I see a financial crisis on the very near horizon. It was former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen who declared that the greatest national security threat to America is our debt. Last Thursday, nominee for the same position, US Marine Corps General Joe Dunford, Jr, declared Russia his greatest concern. These men have it right on both counts — and here’s the interesting relationship.

If we had a stronger economy, we’d be in a far better position to defeat the dual adversaries of our debt and Russia. One of the key aspects to both is our energy security and development. Our energy sector growth has been a preeminent contributor to our economy’s ability to survive under the grueling conditions of the Obama administration. If we can economically restore and strengthen America, we can challenge Russia, China, Iran and the global Islamic jihad. But if we continue on the path of greater debt, then we won’t have a government capable of its core responsibility — providing for the common defense. Therefore, in order to focus on “nation building at home” — when we shouldn’t be nation building anywhere — we cut 40,000 soldiers at the most precarious and volatile time for global security.

Now you can bet your paycheck the liberal progressives who monitor this site will focus on the distraction, the sideshow. They won’t seek to engage in a discussion on how we return to fiscal, tax, regulatory and monetary policy that grows our economy. Policies of moving toward flatter taxation — individual and corporate — in order to unleash entrepreneurial growth and, therefore, increased revenues for America. Sadly, the progressive socialist leftist mind is stuck on stupid and only believes economic growth comes from raising taxes for “increased investments.”

Hey, next time one of these lefties talks about government investments — just ask them, what’s the rate of return on an investment in $18.3T of debt?
