To be honest, I didn't think they'd pick her to take the fall. It will be interesting to see if Hill defends her or not. I mean, she's like Hillary's shadow everywhere she goes. The only person in town not separated by ropes. Becky- Turns out Hill likes orange.... ;)



Classified emails from Clinton aides kick-started FBI probe, candidate downplays controversy

An email from a top Clinton adviser containing classified military intelligence information, and one from a top aide containing classified information about the Benghazi terror attack, were the documents that kick-started the FBI investigation into the mishandling of classified information, Fox News has learned.

The emails, among thousands on Hillary Clinton's personal server, were released to the Benghazi select committee in May and have been widely discussed but Fox News for the first time has identified which Clinton aides sent them and the subject matter.

The revelation came as the Democratic presidential candidate and former secretary of state tried to brush aside the burgeoning scandal, joking at a campaign event when asked by Fox News whether she had wiped her private server clean, "What, with like with a cloth or something? I don't know how it works at all."

Clinton last week handed the FBI her private server, which she used to send, receive and store emails during her four years as secretary of state. Fox News has identified two of the Benghazi-related emails on the server that were deemed to contain classified information at the time they were sent.

The first was forwarded by Clinton adviser Huma Abedin and contained classified material from military intelligence sources. The 2011 email forwards a warning about how then-Ambassador Chris Stevens was "considering departure from Benghazi" amid deteriorating conditions in a nearby city. The email was mistakenly released by the State Department in full, and is now considered declassified.

The second was sent by Clinton aide Jake Sullivan and contained classified information as well as sensitive law enforcement information on Benghazi. The partly redacted November 2012 email detailed how Libyan police had arrested "several people" with potential connections to the terror attack.

Abedin and Sullivan now work for the Clinton presidential campaign. A spokeswoman for the intelligence community inspector general confirmed to Fox News that the information was classified at the time it was sent.

But Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon says the information was not classified at the time the emails were sent. In maintaining this position, the campaign pointed to the fact that the State Department shared this judgment, as the Abedin email was released in full by the State Department on its FOIA website. The campaign spokesman acknowledged there is disagreement with the intelligence community inspector general.

A State Department spokesman said they shared Fallon's stance.

The emails are now just a fraction of those under review by the intelligence community. On Tuesday, while Clinton joked about her server's apparently missing contents, Fox News has learned the FBI is aggressively trying to recover the data.

An intelligence source familiar with the review told Fox News that FBI investigators are confident they may be able to recover some of the deleted files, a detail first reported by NBC News.

Yet at the contentious press conference on Tuesday, Clinton insisted anything she did with her email server was "legally permitted."

In the press conference following a Las Vegas town hall meeting Tuesday, Fox News' Ed Henry pressed the Democratic presidential candidate by pointing out that leadership is about taking responsibility.

"Look, Ed, I take responsibility," Clinton replied. "In retrospect, this didn't turn out to be convenient at all and I regret that this has become such a cause celebre. But that does not change the facts. The facts are stubborn -- what I did was legally permitted."

The FBI is holding Clinton's server in protective custody after the intelligence community's inspector general raised concerns recently that classified information had traversed the system.

Clinton told reporters she was "very comfortable that this will eventually get resolved and the American people will have plenty of time to figure it out."

When asked whether she oversaw the process to wipe the server clean, Clinton said, "my personal emails are my personal business. Right? We went through a painstaking process and through 55,000 pages we thought could be worth relating," she continued. "Under the law, that decision is made by the official. I was the official. I made those decisions."

As she departed the room, a reporter asked whether the email scandal will ever end, Clinton turned to reporters shrugged and said, "Nobody talks to me about it other than you guys."

Hillary Clinton Says Chelsea Erased Servers During Postpartum Depression

This afternoon Democratic presidential frontrunner, Hillary Clinton, appeared on MSNBC’s Hardball with host Chris Matthews to discuss the missing emails from her time as Secretary of State. Following is a transcript of that interview which airs at 6 pm tonight on MSNBC.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Thank you for joining us today Madam Secretary. I also want to welcome your lovely daughter Chelsea. I don’t mind admitting that next to President Obama you are two of my favorite people. Now, let’s play Hardball!

HILLARY: Thank you for having us, Chris.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Madam Secretary, for months you have been under fire from rabid right wing conspirators about your private email servers. How are you holding up?

HILLARY: (laughing loudly) Oh, it’s going to take a lot more than pointless accusations from neocons to ruffle my feathers, Chris.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Ha! After all these years I guess you’re used to it, huh?

HILLARY CLINTON: (laughs loudly) They’ve had it in for me ever since I worked on the Watergate investigation.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: I think republicans are just jealous of how accomplished you are. (Looks at Chelsea) You must be awful proud of your mom.

CHELSEA: I have the best mom in the world, Chris.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Aw … that’s sweet. And you really mean it don’t you.

CHELSEA: Oh, I sure do.

CHRIS MATTHEW: Madam Secretary, you and your daughter are here today to reveal some pretty astonishing news exclusively on MSNBC.

HILLARY: Yes, we are, Chris. We have decided to be candid and inform the American people that Chelsea is the one who scrubbed my computer drives clean.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: And you also claim she removed all the classified markings from sensitive emails?

HILLARY: Yes, that is true. (looks at Chelsea) Isn’t that true, honey?

CHELSEA: (swallowing hard) Yes, I did it. I’m the one who erased the servers and I also removed all classified markings.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: So it makes sense now, Madam Secretary, that you could not have known you had all those classified emails.

HILLARY: That’s correct, Chris.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Unfortunately there’s a heart wrenching part to this confession, isn’t there?

HILLARY: Yes there is, Chris. Chelsea was suffering from postpartum depression at the time.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Oh no.

HILLARY: As you are aware, Chris, postpartum depression is an awful affliction for millions of women following a pregnancy. The costs to the poor mother are devastating. Those of us who’ve never experienced it cannot imagine the anguish.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Oh gosh, I know. How are you now, Chelsea?

CHELSEA: I’m doing much better, Chris. After that awful period of overwhelming depression I’m just eager to put it behind me and get back to supporting my mom’s candidacy.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Chelsea, can you tell us what led to you meddling into your mother’s email?

CHELSEA: I don’t know for sure, Chris. When you suffer from postpartum depression you do things that you can’t explain. It’s almost like you’re a completely different person.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: I’ve heard that. It’s like when those ladies kill their kids, huh?

CHELSEA: (fidgeting) Well, I don’t know about all of that. I would never harm my baby.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: But how do you know? You said you acted like a completely different person.

CHELSEA: (looks at Hillary) Mom?

HILLARY: Uh, Chris, even though Chelsea did act in a confusing manner, I have no doubt she would never harm her baby. For some crazy reason that we’ll never understand, her only focus was on destroying my emails and scrubbing my hard drives.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: But there are many instances of women confessing they worried they could harm their babies during postpartum depression. Even Marie Osmond said that. And you don’t get more wholesome than Marie Osmond.

HILLARY: Chris, at this point what difference does it make? Chelsea’s only depression symptoms were her obsession with destroying my emails and scrubbing my drives. I can attest that even as she committed criminal acts with my email account she was a loving and compassionate mother.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Chelsea, you said you felt like another person. Do you have any recollection of deleting those 30,000 emails?

CHELSEA: I don’t Chris. I mean, in a way I’m kind of amazed that I was able to delete that many.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: So if you can’t recall deleting 30,000 emails, how do you know you didn’t have thoughts of harming your baby?

CHELSEA: Mom!

HILLARY: Chris, the fact is, Chelsea does vaguely recall deleting my emails. Isn’t that right, honey?

CHELSEA: Yes?

CHRIS MATTHEWS: So now you’re vaguely aware of deleting your mom’s email and scrubbing her servers?


HILLARY: Yes she is, Chris. And that lays to rest any worries that Chelsea ever had thoughts of harming her baby or that I had anything to do with those emails disappearing.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: I gotta hand it to you, Madam President, that’s just an amazing story. But you know, now the republicans are going to come after your poor daughter who, under a state of extreme duress, destroyed your emails. They might even suggest that you put her up to this. That you were willing to sacrifice your own daughter for your own political ambitions.

HILLARY: You know what, Chris? If a bunch of old white men want to publicly excoriate the actions of a young woman suffering from the catastrophic effects of postpartum depression, I say bring it on!

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Ha! Bring it on? Is that what you said, Madam President?

HILLARY: I sure did, Chris. Nobody has fought harder for the rights of women than I have. If republicans want to escalate that war, they’re going to have to go through me first.

CBS, NBC, Univision, and Telemundo chose not to report the breaking news that Caroline Kennedy, an Obama administration ambassador to Japan, has been caught using a private e-mail server to conduct public business (remind you of anyone?)

CBS, NBC Ignore Report Japanese Amb. Caroline Kennedy Used Private E-Mail for Gov’t Business

On Tuesday night, CBS and NBC teamed with Spanish-language networks Telemundo and Univision to hide from their viewers news that U.S. Ambassador to Japan Caroline Kennedy has been using a private e-mail server to conduct government business and send sensitive material.

Surprisingly, ABC’s World News Tonight stepped up to the plate with a scant 50-second report on this new e-mail scandal by chief White House correspondent and a lead in by fill-in anchor and Clinton Foundation donor George Stephanopoulos.

Stephanopoulos informed viewers that “Caroline Kennedy [is] facing questions” as she’s being “criticized for using a private e-mail server for public business.” He then added that such conduct “echoes” that “of Hillary Clinton’s recent troubles” with her own systemic e-mail issues.

In a live shot with Stephanopoulos, Karl provided some details as to how this information came about and what Kennedy’s been found to have done:

Abedin Whines About Criminal Investigations:Claims They Are Unfair

Huma Abedin’s lawyer has sent a letter to the State Department, whining about the fact that their cloient is being investigated for her alleged criminal activities by Sen Grassley. Abedin is being investigated for a wide variety of charges of criminal behavior. Se Grassley has been inquiring on several of those activities for several years, without getting a response. The Inspector General (IG) of the State Dept has called into question money Abedin was paid during her maternity leave and during a vacation to Italy and France.

Abedin and her lawyers claim that she worked during both breaks from her service. That seems highly unlikely to me. Why take a plane to Italy and France just to pay for an expensive hotel room if you are working? You could do that from any Motel 6 in the country. The fact that they are unwilling to divulge any information on either seems suspicious, don’t you think?

Abedin’s lawyer, Miguel Rodriguez, also objected to questions about Abedin’s help in obtaining a White House appointment for Judith Rogin. Rodriguez made the idiotic claim that the accusation doesn’t match the timeline since Taneo didn’t get the account until after the appointment was made. Taneo then hired Abedin after they got the contract. Does he mean that because Rodin didn’t pay off before getting what she wanted it wasn’t graft? I don’t pay before delivery either. I find this claim to be totally without merit. Her job at Taneo was a direct conflict of interest.

Rodriguez ends his letter of propaganda by saying that Abedin has made countless sacrifices to her job and to the country she loves. I assume he means Iran. He failed to mention other investigations against his client, which includes sending classified emails over an unsecured server and her failure to provide her federally mandated emails and other documents pertaining to her time at the State Dept. he didn’t mention her use of a private email account or the fact that she has failed to comply with a court order and verify she has turned over all documents from her time at the State Dept.

The real intent of the letter was to force the State Dept to take over answering Grassley’s questions because they don’t have the full knowledge of the events in question, whereas if the onus remains on Abedin, she could later be charged with perjury and or obstruction for hiding or lying about her actions.

If Abedin is as pure as the driven snow as her lawyer contends, why has she failed to supply answers for over two years. If I was falsely accused, I would rush to provide all answers and documents to clear my name. That’s not happening here. Care to guess why?

Former Defense Intelligence Agency Director Gen. Michael T. Flynn says President Obama should “immediately suspend” Hillary Clinton’s security clearance because she ran a private, unprotected email server from her New York home.

Flynn also told The Daily Caller News Foundation in an exclusive interview Saturday that Clinton’s use of a private server for official national security business was “unprecedented,” and he believed Clinton caused “untold damage” to national security.

Clinton should also be denied “any access to any classified or sensitive information,” said Flynn, who was appointed by Obama to the DIA job in 2012.

“As an employee and Secretary of State, I don’t think she operates above any policy or law,” he said. “It’s just think that she is so unaccountable to the American people for having done what she did as a Secretary of State.”

Flynn also criticized the use of thumbnail drives by Clinton to transport 30,000 of her emails through her lawyer. Both Defense and State Department rules prohibit the downloading of classified materials on any thumb drive.

He dismissed Clinton’s claim that she was technically uninformed about the proper handling of classified materials in the digital age. "She can’t sit there and say ‘I’m not mechanically inclined’ or not technical. Not in this day and age. In fact, it would be extraordinary to me to think a woman of her intellect would not have some idea, some clue, about what she was doing for communications,” he said. “So for her to act as though she doesn’t know anything — give me a break.”

Flynn’s comments are likely to fuel the firestorm that has engulfed Clinton and her campaign for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination since the New York Times first reported in March that she used a private email account to conduct official business as the nation’s chief diplomat. The email was maintained on a private server located at Clinton’s New York home.

Few intelligence security chiefs of Flynn’s stature have spoken out about Clinton’s use of a private server for official State Department emails.

A group of former intelligence and special operations officials formally asked Secretary of State John Kerry to suspend Clinton’s security clearance in an Aug. 5 letter. Kerry has not responded.

The State Department released 7,000 emails from Clinton’s server last week from among the 30,000 official emails she turned over to the department in 2014. As many as 300 of those have been found to include classified information. The Inspector General for the intelligence community separately found two Top Secret documents in a sample review of only 40 emails.

Flynn said those reports are “telling me there’s been quite a bit of intelligence and quite a bit of sensitive government information that has been compromised.”

Flynn said previously that he is certain Russian and Chinese intelligence agencies gained access to Clinton’s official and private emails when they were stored on the server at her New York home. “Do I think the Chinese and Russians have had access to Hillary’s emails? Count on it,” said Flynn, a decorated officer who has served in multiple intelligence command positions over 33 years.

“If she did all of her communications on a public, personal device for the many years she was the Secretary, I think it’s untold damage,” he said.

Flynn was nominated by Obama on April 17, 2012, as the 13th DIA director, a job that made him the nation’s highest ranking military intelligence officer. He began his term as DIA director in July 2012. He left the agency when he retired in August 2014.

Before the DIA job, Flynn was assistant director of national intelligence and director of intelligence for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the U.S. Central Command and the Joint Special Operations Command.

Since leaving DIA, Flynn has been publicly outspoken, particularly about Obama’s Middle East policy.

Flynn added that all of Clinton’s personal devices, should be secured and examined by federal officials, arguing they must “secure everything that person has touched information-wise, particularly any devices, personal or otherwise.”

Flynn said other senior intelligence officials have had government servers at home, but those were government-issued servers. Clinton’s server had been previously used in her campaign and was not bought or maintained by the federal government.

“Those of us at senior levels of government have servers at home provided by the government at our homes. But having a server that’s a private server that she used for government purposes is just completely extraordinary to me. It is unprecedented,” Flynn said.

Clinton previously claimed that former Secretary of State Colin Powell used a private sever at his home, but the claim was refuted by NBC News reporter Andrea Mitchell during an interview on Friday with the struggling Presidential candidate.

“You have said that Colin Powell did the same thing. He actually had a personal e-mail and a state.gov official email system,” Mitchell told Clinton. (RELATED: Hillary Apologizes For ‘Confusing’ Americans With Private Email Server)

“So he didn’t just rely on a personal system. I don’t think there’s any precedent for anyone just relying on a personal e-mail system at your level of government,” Mitchell said. Clinton seemed surprised by the question, stumbled and changed the subject.

During his 33-year term, he previously served as the Assistant Director of National Intelligence and Director of intelligence for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, U.S. Central Command and Joint Special Operations Command.

The Clinton campaign did not respond to a DCNF request for comment.

Hillary’s Highly Paid IT Guru At State Department Had No National Security Experience

Hillary Clinton’s politically appointed State Department information technology manager had no national security experience and may have enjoyed a 55 percent pay hike after Clinton departed as secretary of state in February 2013, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation.

Bryan Pagliano joined Clinton in 2009 as a top-level IT strategist and adviser. He previously was IT director of Clinton’s unsuccessful campaign for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination. The White House personnel office must approve political appointees before they are hired.

Pagliano was hired as a GS-15 even though he had no national security experience or security clearance. He was paid $140,000 annually at the outset but that was reduced to $136,000 in 2011 and 2012, according to the Asbury Park Press, which posts federal compensation data.

In addition to his government salary, Pagliano also received compensation directly from the Clinton family, but did not list it on his annual financial disclosure forms, according to the Washington Post. http://www.washingtonpost.com/politi...0f8_story.html

Pagliano described himself at the State Department on his LinkedIn page as a “strategic advisor and special projects manager” to the department’s Chief Technology Officer.

He was assigned to the State Department’s Bureau of Information Resource Management, a highly classified system which manages the digital traffic of 50,000 U.S. diplomats and foreign service officers at the 250 U.S. embassies and consulates located around the world.

Prior to working for Hillary’s presidential campaign, Pagliano was a senior systems engineer at Community IT Innovators, a small IT firm that catered to non-profit organizations. The organization represented liberal advocacy groups, community services organizations, schools and NGO’s, according to its web site.

Pagliano also managed Clinton’s private email server, which was located in her home in Chappaqua, New York. He reportedly managed the server remotely from the State Department and in site visits in New York when there were outages.

That a State Department employee managed Clinton’s home email server could undermine her original claim that it was private.

“Mrs. Clinton’s argument that her server was ‘personal’ fails on many levels. And certainly having a State Department employee provide IT servicers for that server certainly blows that argument out of the water,” said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch.

Judicial Watch is a nonprofit watchdog with multiple suits against the State Department regarding its response to the group’s Freedom of Information Act requests for documents related to the email scandal.

Mark McDougal, Pagliano’s attorney from the Akin Gump law firm, told Congress this week that his client will invoke his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination and decline to answer congressional questions about Clinton’s server if he is subpoenaed. McDougal did not respond to a DCNF request for comment.

In February 2013, the same month Hillary left as Secretary of State, Pagliano’s GS-15 employee status ended and he joined Gartner, Inc. a global IT company, according to his LinkedIn web page. Gartner has received 176 contracts and subcontracts from the State Department since 2007 collectively worth more than $14 million

While the State Department refused to disclose Pagliano’s contractor or any other details about his current or past employment status, federal contracting data bases show that on January 3, 2013, the State Department awarded Gartner $212,871.29 for an employee to work in the IRM where Pagliano remains despite having left the firm last November. Going from $136,000 to $212,000 would be a 55 percent compensation boost.

Switching employers while maintaining the same government job has been decried by government reform advocates for many years.

The nonpartisan Project on Government Oversight estimated in a September 2011 report that using private contractors over government employees doubles costs to taxpayers. “I think it’s a common occurrence for a federal employee to leave the government and to work for a contractor in the office in which they worked,” said Scott Amey, POGO’s general counsel. “That’s one of the reasons why people leave government service, there is an increase in salary.”

The State Department’s refusal to disclose details of Pagliano’s employment status did not sit well with Amey. “When it comes to spending taxpayer dollars, federal agencies should come clean whatever arrangements they have to bring in contractors or consultants,” he said.

Intel Chief comes clean, says Obama funded pre-ISIS groups AND KNEW IT

Michael Flynn, the former director of Obama’s Defense Intelligence Agency, said he warned the Obama administration in 2012 that the groups they were funding in Syria were indeed Islamic jihadists. Not only that, but they warned that these jihadist groups wanted to form a “Salafist principality in eastern Syria” and that “ISI (Islamic State of Iraq) could declare an Islamic State.” All this is bolstered by a 2012 document from his agency that’s recently been declassified via a FOIA by Judicial Watch.

So we have “Salafist, the Muslim Brotherhood, and AQI (Al-Qaeda in Iraq)” listed as the MAJOR forces driving the insurgency in Syria. And who is supporting them? “The West, Gulf countries and Turkey.”

So they knew these groups wanted to form a principality in Syria. Sound familiar? Oh wait, there’s more!

Not only do they warn that the jihadi groups in Syria may want to form a principality, they specifically cite that ISI (Islamic State of Iraq) could unify with other jihadi groups and declare an Islamic State!

And all of this was in 2012. Since then we’ve continued to fund and train these groups, all the while Obama knew exactly who they were and what they were capable of – J.V. my foot!

Note that Flynn says he’s been in the intel business for a long time and he still can’t make sense out of what Obama is really doing here.

Well, perhaps it would make more sense if he stopped believing the lies that Obama is a Christian and not a Muslim. Obama is obviously working with Turkey to take out Assad and help bring forth Erdogan’s dream, the New Ottoman Turkey!

Turkey wanted ISIS to exist in the first place and that’s why Obama has done very little to destroy or even degrade them. It’s all about taking out Assad and creating the coming Ottoman caliphate.

Look, even if this is not clear to you, any rational person must admit that this 2012 document and admission by Flynn raises serious questions about why we pulled out of Iraq and what we’ve been doing in Syria and Iraq, then and now.

And let’s not forget about Obama freeing Iran from sanctions to help grow itself and the region with new import/export partnerships, all under the guise of halting their nuclear weapons program.
