"On the Cover of the Rolling Stone...."

    America’s sociopath fetish
    By Michelle Malkin • July 12, 2013 08:52 AM

I would like to declare a war on women — namely, all those cringe-inducing ninnies who lust after every celebrity criminal defendant with big muscles, tattoos, puppy-dog eyes or Hollywood hair.

You know who I’m talking about, right? America’s Bad Boy groupies. They’re on the courthouse steps with their “Free Jahar” signs, http://twitchy.com/2013/07/10/disgus...thouse-photos/ cooing over how “hot” and “cute” the bloodstained Boston Marathon bombing suspect is. He “can blow me up with babies,” one moral reprobate quipped shortly after his capture. http://twitchy.com/2013/04/22/the-tw...p-with-babies/ “I’m not gonna lie, the second bombing suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, is hot. #sorrynotsorry,” another young girl boasted.

Among the callous accused killer’s victims, in case you’d forgotten: 8-year-old boy Martin Richard, who had been cheering on his dad and other family friends at the race. http://bostonherald.com/news_opinion...martin_richard

But who cares about an innocent dead child blown to bits by pressure cooker bombs in the name of Allah? Jahar is HAWT!

Far from a minuscule fringe, the Ja-harem is a growing social media phenomenon. Its members mimic Justin Bieber’s Beliebers, adopting the last name of their Tiger Beat terrorist and doodling hearts around his mug shot. In heat or in jest, these depraved females continue to spread viral photos, memes and hashtags of their Islamist Idol. One woman showed up at Tsarnaev’s court appearance Wednesday donning a “Free the Lion” T-shirt. Another sported a “Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is innocent” tee, while her gal pal shouted, “Exonerate!”

For those ladies who prefer jocks to jihadis, there’s accused murderer/NFL star Aaron Hernandez. He’s “fine as wine,” one woman lusted. He’s “too damned sexy to go to prison,” another lamented. “He can come to jail at my house,” sighed yet another. In response to one of gangsta Hernandez’s Glock-wielding Instagram pics, one sick chick slavered, “Soooo hot with the combination handgun-mirror selfie.”

Fugitive cop-killer Christopher Dorner also had his own fan club. Parked in front of their TV sets, women cheered on the “kinda sexy” homicidal maniac as he terrorized Southern California before perishing in a cabin inferno. “I’d honestly hide Dorner in my house,” one fan girl enthused. Tens of thousands “liked” Dorner’s various support pages on Facebook.

Harmless Internet chitter-chatter? Don’t kid yourselves. While some of the murderers’ panting minions may be joking, it’s irresponsible women like these who end up enabling, marrying and conspiring with public menaces.

They’re your neighbors and relatives, suburban gals like Colleen “Jihad Jane” LaRose and Jamie “Jihad Jamie” Paulin-Ramirez of Colorado, who agreed to wed Muslim terrorists and conspired to kill Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks. Paulin-Ramirez dragged her 6-year-old (whom she renamed “Walid”) to Ireland to assist with the plot. Family members said she was “easily influenced” and that “any man that came along … she kind of followed like a lost puppy.”

It would be one thing if these morally stunted followers segregated themselves in enclaves outside the American mainstream. But some of these damaged goods end up on juries, entrusted to weigh evidence fairly, digest complex instructions, and render impartial verdicts in matters of life and death. Indeed, they are aggressively sought after by predatory defense lawyers. I’ll never forget the female jurors of the first murder trial of confessed parent-killers Lyle and Erik Menendez. Star-struck by “glamorous” defense lawyer Jill Leslie Abramson, the women of the Menendez jury told Los Angeles reporters that “they admired her wardrobe and biting wit.”

Their swooning for the hunky Menendez brothers, whom they praised as “bright” and “nice,” was obscene. After a mistrial was declared, Abramson arranged for “her jurors” to meet the boys. Soon after, talk show queen Sally Jesse Raphael hosted a program on “women who would leave their husbands to marry a Menendez.”

From Menendez mania to Free Jahar, the pathologies persist: Easily led. Emotion-driven. Desperate for male approbation. Prone to acting with their lady parts instead of their lady smarts. Heckuva job, feminism! All the equalization and parity in education and the workplace are for naught if women can’t distinguish right from wrong and “hot” from evil.

Lesson learned: You can indoctrinate generations of American women in the ways of gender empowerment, but you can’t make a goodly portion of them think straight. Hormones trump basic human decency and good judgment in the crowded coven of sociopaths.

Let’s hope Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar “Jahar” Tsarnaev’s “ja-harem” of young female followers saved up enough allowance to buy all the copies of the new Rolling Stone before the families of the Boston Marathon bombing victims see it on newsstands. Tsarnaev is the cover star, and the feature story, “Jahar’s World,” promises a bunch of revelations about the “popular, promising student.”

New Rolling Stone cover turns the Boston bomber into Jim Morrison.

    A comparison:

To its credit, Rolling Stone does admit that radical Islam turned Tsarnaev into a monster, but he’s a dreamy, misunderstood monster. You have to be seriously evil to earn this sort of cover treatment:

    A. J. Delgado @missADelgado

So why is Boston Bomber Numero Dos shown on the cover of Rolling Stone
like he's the reincarnation of Jim Morrison? So inappropriate.

CVS Boycotting Rolling Stone Over Boston Bomber Cover

CVS apparently believes the First Amendment has limits ... because the pharmacy chain just announced it won't hawk the latest issue of Rolling Stone, featuring Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on the cover.

A rep for CVS says "As a company with deep roots in New England and a strong presence in Boston, we believe this is the right decision out of respect for the victims of the attack and their loved ones."

It's kind of a bizarre reaction, since the story is about how Tsarnaev "fell into radical Islam and became a monster."

    So we gotta ask ...
    Poll CVS :
    Good for you79%
    Anti-democratic21%

    Total Votes: 42,342
    ...

The Boston supermarket chain Roche Bros. is also boycotting the magazine -- a rep tells TMZ, "When Roche Bros. learned of the cover for the current issue of Rolling Stone, we chose not to offer that product for sale in our stores. We join with our customers and neighbors in focusing on the recovery of the victims and our community."

This is shameful. All those who were at the event those who were affected by it and those who captured him, they should be on the cover not some terrorist. Disrespectful.

    ....

Just amazes me the stupidity of the media. What does the 1st Amendment have anything to do with this story?

    ...

CVS boycotting this rag is not anti-democratic. RS has a right to publish what they want but free speech doesn't mean free consequences. CVS and the rest of us can also exercise our free speech by not circulating, purchasing, and if we so choose, condemning the magazine's decision.

    ....

Doesn't "Democracy" mean a private entity like CVS can pretty much do whatever they want? The government isn't telling them what they can or can't sell, which is the basis of the 1st amendment.

    ....

Read the caption under the photo. It's blaming the family and not the terrorist himself. Unbelievable.

    ...

Absolutely despicable what Rolling Stone has done here. Talk about glorifying terrorism! Who cares what the content of the story inside is...sick lost souls around the world are going to see that cover and think they can become infamous just like him. Disgusting

Why don't they have some of the dead or those missing limbs on the cover if they want to go for the real "Shock" reaction. This liberal rag has no respect for anyone or anything.

UPDATE : Walgreens and Rite Aid have joined CVS in the boycott of the August Issue

    Cover Of The Rolling Stone

Ha, ha, ha, I don't believe it
Da, da, ah, ooh, don't touch me
    Hey, Ray!
    Hey, Sugar!
Tell them who we are ...

    Well, we're big rock singers
    We've got golden fingers
And we're loved everywhere we go (that sounds like us)
We sing about beauty and we sing about truth
For ten-thousand dollars a show (right)
We take all kinds of pills that give us all kind of thrills
But the thrill we've never known
Is the thrill that'll get ya when you get your picture
On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Rolling Stone) Wanna see my picture on the cover
(Stone)Wanna buy five copies for my mother (yeah)
    (Stone)Wanna see my smilin' face
On the cover of the Rolling Stone (that's a very, very, good idea)

I got a freaky ole lady name a cocaine Katy
    Who embroideries on my jeans
I got my poor old grey haired daddy
    Drivin' my limousine
Now, it's all designed to blow our minds
But our minds won't really be blown
Like the blow that'll get ya when you get your picture
On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Rolling Stone) Wanna see our pictures on the cover
(Stone) Wanna buy five copies for our mothers (yeah)
(Stone) Wanna see my smilin' face
On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Hey, I know how, rock and roll!)

    [Freaky Guitar Break]

    (Ah, that's beautiful)

We got a lot of little teenage blue-eyed groupies
    Who do anything we say
We got a genuine Indian Guru
Who's teaching us a better way
We got all the friends that money can buy
So we never have to be alone
And we keep getting richer but we can't get our picture
On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Rolling Stone) Wanna see my picture on the cover
(Stone) Wanna buy five copies for my mother (I want one!)
(Stone) Wanna see my smilin' face
On the cover of the Rolling Stone
On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Man, I don't know why we ain't on the cover, Baby)
    (We're beautiful people)
(I ain't kiddin', why, we would make a beautiful cover
(Fresh shot, right up front, man)
(I can see it now, we'll be up on the front)
    (Smilin', man ... ahh, beautiful!)

anyone who uses adoration of a child killer, murderer, terrorist, destroyer of lives to sell magazines quite obviously agrees with what this despicable excuse for a human has done. I can assume that this magazine did not have any family, friends or employees who had their legs blown off, suffer head injuries or attended the funeral of those killed. Glad to see responsible individuals and companies that are boycotting this magazine.

Touche of the Day: What Louis C.K. Thinks
About Rolling Stone's Remarks About Him

    comments

Alright, to the people too stupid to understand why articles like these are a problem especially in recent history I'll explain. Recent-ish scientific evidence has shown that the reason why terrorist or otherwise attacks have become so rampant or at least obvious is because of their media coverage. There is a youtube video you can look up of a guy explaining that whenever there is a new columbine or oklahoma city bombing, he is not surprised in the slightest because his research shows that when such a media focus is put on the killer, that people idolize killing. It doesn't matter if the article was completely negative, the fact that the person gets put in the spotlight either while in jail or posthumously gives similar minded people in similar situation a driving force. That being said obviously something has to be done about the countries mental health care and other factors but that's besides the point. As long as the media glorifies killers, no matter in what way just showing their face (especially in such a positive photo as on RS) then people will do bad things or at least wish to do bad things.

    ..

I only speak for myself, but I think people are outraged b/c they chose him for the COVER. I do not object to him being covered in an article, but to put him on the cover in that fashion is bad taste. Just gives him (and other would-be attackers) fuel to get that celebrity status. "Hey if I kill a bunch of people, they'll put me on RS's cover."....where a good band/actor/athlete should be instead.

    ..

If he's not being idolized, then why was he "fluffed" for the camera, and why does the headline try to shift all of the blame for the bombing off of him to the people around him? Face it, they were trying to idolize him to make it "controversial", so they would sell more issues.

    ..

Exactly! The headline makes him out to be a martyr almost, which is WRONG!

    ..

Anyone else sickened by the fact that there are a bunch of teenage girls lusting after Tsarnaev, trying to send him letters about how they want to marry him and how they'll get him out of prison? He MURDERED people, even though he was perfectly sane. He's a piece of sh*t, and shouldn't be idolized. That's why I was shocked when I heard that he was on the cover of Rolling Stone. I thought the U.S., as a country, hated this murderer.

    ..

It's considered an HONOR to be put on Rolling Stone's cover. If they wanted to use the same pic, I think very few would've made a stink if it was done on LIFE or TIME magazine. They're expected to do stuff like that. Maybe RS wouldn't have gotten so much flack had they picked a different pic. Presentation is everything.

    ..

You try losing a loved one or maybe your leg and try to "let go" of anyone making the person responsible somehow look cool. It's not ever going to be over for those folks. They can learn to cope and to move on, but the result of what Tsarnaev did is always going to be with them.

    ..

How easily everyone forgets about Charles Manson. Did everyone put up a fuss then? probably not.

    ..

"Did everyone put up a fuss then? " I don't know, I wasn't even BORN at that point.

    ..

I've heard this argument before but Emerald63 hits it on the head. RS has changed pop-culture but it wasn't a force at that time. Wasn't the other mag covers mug-shots though? (Sorry, trying to go from memory.) They were painted as criminals...not heartthrobs.
