Why doesn't the media ask Hillary these questions?

Rand Paul had a good suggestion for the press last week: Why don't you hacks start asking Democrats the same kind of loaded, gotcha, when-did-you-stop-beating-your-wife questions that you always throw at Republicans?

Will never happen, of course -- too many invitations to too many Beautiful People cocktail parties are at stake. But suppose the press were equal opportunity bashers?

For example, what if Hillary Clinton had to answer some real questions when she officially begins her campaign for president, er, queen?

It's easy to slant any question, even if it's totally legit. For instance, Hillary was against gay marriage less than two years ago. So blogger Jon Gabriel suggested this question for her:

"What finally made you agree with Dick Cheney that gay marriage should be legalized?"

Believe me, if Savannah Guthrie or her producer can think up stuff like this, then absolutely anybody can do it:

"Mrs. Clinton, your husband signed both the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996 and the federal RFRA (sponsored by Ted Kennedy in the Senate) in 1993. Does that make your husband a bigot?"

When Bill Clinton is your spouse, the possibilities are endless.

"Madame Secretary, as governor, your husband signed a bill into law making English the official language of Arkansas. Does he still hate Hispanics, and do you share his xenophobia?"

It always looks more legit if you can blame your hostile questions on somebody else, say, the author of a new book.

"Your daughter Chelsea is quoted in a new book called 'The Residence' by Karen Andersen Brower as telling the White House staff that you referred to your Secret Service 'pigs.' Is that true?"

Once you find yourself a good club, keep pummeling!

"Mrs. Clinton, that same just-published book also quotes your staffers as saying you once bloodied the president with a book. This contradicts earlier reports that you preferred ashtrays or lamps when assaulting Bill. So what is your weapon of choice these days in domestic abuse?"

Make sure the authors' bona fides are in order, so Hillary can't claim it's just another "vast right-wing conspiracy."

"Madame Secretary, in their book 'Game Change,' noted left-wing Kool-Aid drinkers John Heilemann and Mark Halperin write that your husband, when talking to Ted Kennedy, said of Barack Obama: 'A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.' What do you think Mr. Clinton meant by that?"

I was't be in Des Moines afternoon, so I offer these questions up to any network types who wish to use them:

"Mrs. Clinton, can you define 'dead broke' for us?"

"You've talked about how much you love your grandchild. Would you allow your husband's dear friend, convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, to babysit little Charlotte?"

"Do you plan to make speeches in black dialect the way you did in 2008?"

"Mrs. Clinton, can you take us back to when you were dodging sniper fire in Tuzla?

Do you suffer PTSD because of your combat experience in Bosnia?"

"It's generally known that the late ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, was gay. Doesn't that make his murder in Benghazi a hate crime, and if not, exactly how many murders of Americans does it take before it 'matters,' as you would say?"

"Do you know what the meaning of the word is, is?"

Are we going too far back? No!!! They're banging Scott Walker for dropping out of college, and Mitt and Juan Ellis Bush are attacked on their prep-school days. Jeb intimidated kids, you know, because he was "tall." So go for it, scribes.

"Hillary, you've said that in 1975 you visited a Marine Corps recruiting station in Arkansas and inquired about enlisting. Can you give us the name of the jarhead you spoke to? We'd like to do a human-interest story on him. Semper fi!"

"Can you explain to us again how it is that you were named after Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to scale Mount Everest, when you were born in 1947, and nobody had ever heard of him until his climb in 1953?"

"Given your understandable outrage over the war on women and anti-gay discrimination, how can you allow your foundation to accept millions of dollars from the government of Saudi Arabia, which forbids women to drive and recently sentenced a gay man to 450 lashes?"

"Should Medicaid and Medicare pay for sex-change operations?"

One last question for Hillary:

"Since you flunked the bar exam the first time you took it, do you feel a special bond with ex-Gov. Deval Patrick, since it took him three times to pass after he graduated from a prestigious Ivy League school like yours?"

Nah, too local. Let's save that one for when she comes to New Hampshire.

Judge Jeanine Pirro on Saturday – before Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy – absolutely destroyed Clinton by belittling her character, arguing that Clinton doesn’t have the needs of Americans at heart and is solely focused on herself.

“I want someone who says what she means, and means what she says,” Pirro said on her show Justice with Judge Jeanine. “I want someone who understands and respects the Judeo-Christian ethics upon which this country was founded. I want someone who cares about us, who cares about the American people.”

Pirro then focused the rest of her opening statement on Clinton’s ethos. She said Hillary is not a woman of the people or even a “champion of women’s rights” – as she has claimed – and gave as an example Clinton’s defense of a 41-year-old pedophile accused of raping a 12-year-old girl.


Pirro played a soundbite from 1975 in which attorney Hillary Clinton gloated about her client’s ability to pass a polygraph (lie detector test) and then proceeded to smear the credibility of the young girl.

“You blame the victim and you laugh about it,” Pirro seethed. “And you want us to believe that you’re going to protect us?”

Judge Jeanine concluded her opening statement by saying she would like to have a female president — as long as it wasn’t Hillary Clinton.

MSNBC Poll Asks Viewers if Hillary Should be President, Backfires BIG TIME

Poll numbers are tricky indicators. Depending on how the question is phrased you can get completely different answers. And of course you can stack the respondents a certain way to get a desired answer.

Which is why this new MSNBC poll is so…interesting.






A Rasmussen poll indicates 57 percent of likely voters think Hillary Clinton will be the next president. But that doesn’t mean they actually AGREE with the whole idea. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/publ...to_win_in_2016

In fact, according to this MSNBC poll, the overwhelming majority of respondents are NOT planning on voting for her. The poll on MSNBC’s website appeared on Tuesday morning and currently shows that 86 percent of respondents would NOT vote for Hillary Clinton. Only 13 percent said they would and just two percent said “maybe.”

Of course the poll is “unscientific,” but I can’t believe it’s only conservative trolls who are stacking the deck on MSNBC’s website.

Hillary Clinton has told a series of whoppers about her family history in order to appear more sympathetic to immigrants'-rights activists, according to documents that surfaced online Wednesday.

Buzzfeed found U.S. Census records and Selective Service documents – draft cards – that establish that three of the former secretary of state's grandparents were born in America.

That clashes with what Clinton herself has claimed publicly, including Wednesday afternoon in Norwalk, Iowa.

'All my grandparents, you know, came over here,' she said during a small business roundtable event, 'and you know my grandfather went to work in lace mill in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and worked there until he retired at 65. He started there when he was a teenager and just kept going.'

Clinton made the statment to underscore her support for changing the status of milions of illegal immigrants.

'We are turning down people who really want to work,' she said. 'I mean, they are here to work. And a lot of them now have children who are American citizens, and they are doing the best they can to try to make a good life for themselves and their families.'

The underpinnings of her personal story, however, seem false.

Both of Clinton’s maternal grandparents, named Della Howell and Edwin Howell, were born in Illinois, according to Buzzfeed's records research. And while her paternal grandfather, Hugh Rodham Sr., immigrated to the U.S, his wife Hanna Jones Rodham was born in Pennsylvania.

In a speech last year in Kentucky, Clinton claimed Hanna 'immigrated with her family as a young girl to Scranton [Pennnsylvania] and went to work, very young, in a silk mill.'

'She traced her Methodism back to the Wesley brothers themselves,' Clinton said, 'who converted her great grandparents in the small coal mining villages of Southern Wales.'

The Clinton camp quickly acknowledged the accurate Rodham family history.

'As has been correctly pointed out,' a campaign spokesperson told Buzzfeed, 'while her grandfather was an immigrant, it appears that Hillary’s grandmother was born shortly after her parents and siblings arrived in the U.S. in the early 1880s.'

But the insider insisted that Mrs. Clinton had simply believed what her family members had told her.

'Her grandparents always spoke about the immigrant experience and, as a result she has always thought of them as immigrants,' the spokesperson said.

Hillary Clinton's astroturf candidacy is in full swing in Iowa.

Her Tuesday morning visit to a coffee shop in LeClaire, Iowa was staged from beginning to end, according to Austin Bird, one of the men pictured sitting at the table with Mrs. Clinton. Bird told Daily Mail Online that campaign staffer Troy Price called and asked him and two other young people to meet him Tuesday morning at a restaurant in Davenport, a nearby city.

Price then drove them to the coffee house to meet Clinton after vetting them for about a half-hour. The three got the lion's share of Mrs. Clinton's time and participated in what breathless news reports described as a 'roundtable'– the first of many in her brief Iowa campaign swing.

Bird himself is a frequent participant in Iowa Democratic Party events. He interned with President Obama's 2012 presidential re-election campaign, and was tapped to chauffeur Vice President Joe Biden in October 2014 when he visited Davenport. 'What happened is, we were just asked to be there by Troy,' Bird said Wednesday in a phone interview. 'We were asked to come to a meeting with Troy, the three of us, at the Village Inn.'

The other two, he confirmed, were University of Iowa College Democrats president Carter Bell and Planned Parenthood of the Heartland employee Sara Sedlacek. 'It was supposed to be a strategy meeting,' Bird recalled, 'to get our thoughts about issues. But then all of a sudden he says, "Hey, we have Secretary Clinton coming in, would you like to go meet her?"'

'And then we got in a car – Troy's car – and we went up to the coffee house, and we sat at a table and then Hillary just came up and talked with us.'

Bird said 'we all were called. I mean, Troy asked us all to do – to go to a meeting with him. And we didn't really know what it was about. I mean, he did. He knew.'

It's unclear how many Iowans featured in photographs with Clinton that rocketed around the country on Tuesday were planted. 'The mayor of LeClaire was there, and his wife was there,' Bird said, recalling the scene at the coffee shop.
