Remember what Sen. John McCain said about Huma Abedin yesterday?

“Recently, it has been alleged that Huma, a Muslim American, is part of a nefarious conspiracy to harm the United States by unduly influencing U.S. foreign policy at the Department of State in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist causes. These sinister accusations rest solely on a few unspecified and unsubstantiated associations of members of Huma’s family, none of which have been shown to harm or threaten the United States in any way. These attacks on Huma have no logic, no basis, and no merit. And they need to stop now.”

Dr. Saleha Mahmood Abedin is one of the founding members of the Muslim Sisterhood, and more importantly the long-time chairperson of the “International Islamic Committee for Woman and Child” (IICWC), which wants to impose Sharia law on Egypt, and eventually, the West.

Let’s take a look at the IICWC’s stated positions:

1.Laws criminalizing female genital mutilation should be revoked. (And where are the feminists of America when it comes to the Muslim world? Hiding under their beds.)

2.The laws forbidding child marriage below the age of eighteen should be revoked, with no minimum marriage age.

3.The laws forbidding marital rape should be revoked and that polygamy is a right for men.

4.A health check-up before marriage should be revoked since it is against religion and should not be part of the marriage contract.

5.No right of a woman to register her newborn by herself for a birth certificate because the child belongs to the father even if it was the product of adultery.

6.Parents cannot be prosecuted for physically or mentally abusing their children, as long as the punishment does not cause a permanent deformity or the beating is too extreme.

When Hillary Clinton visited Saudi Arabia, she spoke at the Islamic college of Dar El-Hekma together with Huma, where Dr. Saleha Abedin was a vice-dean and one of its founders. Is this a problem for the US State Department? You bet it is.

Here we go again with trying to play patty cake by picking out the "moderates" from the crazies in the Muslim world. The U.S. government has an atrocious record regarding this inviting Brotherhood members to the FBI's counter terrorism center, support the rise in power of the Taliban, and propping up Saddam to go against Iran.

I don't really know why the U.S. government is so damn stupid when it comes to anything related to very open and crazy Muslim extremism but it's as though they are intentionally looking the other way for whatever reason only for it to continually blow up in their face sooner or later.

These enemies of ours are very vocal and very open about it. The U.S. government is literally killing itself by not taking these crazy jerks seriously.

For three years of his presidency, President Obama has travelled the globe promoting the idea that Islam is a religion of peace. How many Americans believed that there would be a new foreign policy because our Muslim-friendly president was reaching out to the Islamic world?

And like so much of his presidency, President Obama made excuses for his Islamic brethren. For example, he said, “The phrase Jihad has lot of meanings within Islam, and is subject to a lot of different interpretations.”

He noted that there are “more than a billion people who practice Islam and an overwhelming majority of them . . . reaffirm peace and justice, and fairness and tolerance. I think all of us recognize that this great religion in the hands of a few extremists has been distorted to justify violence against innocent people that is never justified.”

If just ten percent of a billion Muslims are not peaceful, that’s 100,000,000 extremists, about one-third the population of the United States.

The U.S. embassy in Cairo called out the Muslim Brotherhood on Twitter over differences between English and Arabic tweets about violent protests against an anti-Islamic video.

The Muslim Brotherhood’s official English-language Twitter account @Ikwanweb reposted a message from the group’s deputy head, Khairat El-Shater, saying he was “relieved none of @USembassycairo staff was hurt” and expressing his desire that relations withstand the “turbulence” of events.

The U.S. Embassy in Cairo wrote back: “Thanks. By the way, have you checked out your own Arabic feeds? I hope you know we read those too,” referring to the contradiction between the Brotherhood’s Arabic and English postings.

The Brotherhood’s Arabic feed included messages that praised the protests, such as “Egyptians revolt for the Prophet’s victory in front of U.S. embassy.”

Maybe Hillary’s closest aide can explain to us what just doesn’t seem to make sense.

Obviously, Huma Abedin does not make Obama-administration or State Department policy. Policy is made by President Obama and Secretary Clinton, and they hardly needed Ms. Abedin in order to have pro-Islamist leanings.

Nevertheless, since Secretary Clinton’s tenure began, with Huma Abedin serving as a top adviser, the United States has aligned itself with the Muslim Brotherhood in myriad ways. To name just a few (the list is by no means exhaustive): Our government reversed the policy against formal contacts with the Brotherhood; funded Hamas; continued funding Egypt even after the Brotherhood won the elections; dropped an investigation of Brotherhood organizations in the U.S. that were previously identified as co-conspirators in the case of the Holy Land Foundation financing Hamas; hosted Brotherhood delegations in the United States; issued a visa to a member of the Islamic Group (a designated terrorist organization) and hosted him in Washington because he is part of the Brotherhood’s parliamentary coalition in Egypt; announced that Israel should go back to its indefensible 1967 borders; excluded Israel, the world’s leading target of terrorism, from a counterterrorism forum in which the State Department sought to “partner” with Islamist governments that do not regard attacks on Israel as terrorism; and pressured Egypt’s pro-American military government to surrender power to the anti-American Muslim Brotherhood parliament and president just elected by Egypt’s predominantly anti-American population.

So I was hoping maybe the speaker could explain to us: Hypothetically, if Huma Abedin did have a bias in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood, and if she were actually acting on that bias to try to tilt American policy in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood, what exactly would the State Department be doing differently?

Inflammatory Anti-Muslim “Movie” May Not Be A Real Movie

The clumsy dubbing suggests that the footage comes from different films entirely. And there’s no way that it cost $5 million to make.

The anti-Muslim “movie” that served as the spark or pretext for a wave of violent unrest in Egypt and Libya may not be a movie at all.

As the video above — cut from the YouTube video tied to a global controversy — shows, nearly all of the names in the movie’s “trailer” are overdubbed. The video is a compilation of the most clumsily overdubbed moments from what is in reality an incoherent, haphazardly-edited set of scenes. Among the overdubbed words is “Mohammed,” suggesting that the footage was taken from a film about something else entirely. The footage also suggests multiple video sources — there are obvious and jarring discrepancies among actors and locations.

However, CNN has reported that the cast and crew disavowed the movie, and the overdubbing could also have been to conceal the content from the cast itself. Gawker interviewed a woman who played a part in the movie, who said that she had had no idea what it was about when she was hired.

As The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg reported today, the supposed filmmaker, “Sam Bacile,” appears not to be a real person — or at least not the director of the movie. A consultant to the movie, Steve Klein, told Goldberg that he didn’t know Bacile’s real name and that he wasn’t Israeli as reported.

The person using Bacile’s name told the Associated Press and the Wall Street Journal that the film had been made using $5 million from those donors, as well as a sizable crew of 45 people behind the camera and nearly 60 actors. The film’s low production values make those numbers risible. Five million dollars is more than the budget of some reputable independent films, and could certainly buy a better production than what went into the Mohammad film.

“We continue to report this story and gather new information to explain the origins of the movie and the individuals behind it,” said AP spokesman Paul Colford. “More coverage to follow…”

The film’s author is still still unknown, though Florida pastor Terry Jones and Egyptian-American Coptic activist Morris Sadek have been involved in promoting it. Four Americans were killed in Libya in riots tied to the film.

But whoever made may well have made use of little more than the standard editing software Final Cut Pro — far from a cast and crew of over 100 and millions of dollars.

Huma Abedin was around long before Hillary became Secretary of State . . . she was with her even when Hill was in the Senate and was known as her gatekeeper. There were several big articles about her and her unusual control of Hillary’s time and access to Hillary in 06/07. It was said then that the only access to Hillary was through Huma.

Also of note: Huma comes from a family with strong ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. They would not be the most liberal of muslims by quite some long shot. And yet, Huma is married to a JEW? That simply is not allowed – even in fairly moderate families. A muslim male marrying a Jewish woman, sure – but a muslim woman? Never. There is WAY more going on there than appears on the surface.

A week ago the biggest story in the Middle East was whether Israel would take out Iranian nuke sites before the election.

Obama offers to meet with new Egyptian President Morsi

President Obama has invited Egypt's new president to meet him in New York when the United Nations General Assembly convenes in September, an administration official confirmed to The Hill. The invitation to Mohammed Morsi, a member of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood, a group with a violent past, could raise concerns among lawmakers who have questioned continued U.S. support for Egypt.

The Obama administration has taken steps to reach out to Morsi, arguing he is committed to the Arab Spring revolution and will respect the results of democratic elections.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is scheduled to meet Morsi on Saturday.

The Egyptian leader's visit to the United States was first reported by Reuters. “President Obama extended an invitation to President Morsi to visit the United States when he attends the U.N. General Assembly in September," Egyptian aide Yasser Ali reportedly said after a meeting Sunday with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns.

Burns met with Morsi and Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamal Amr on Sunday to discuss ways for the United States to help boost Egypt’s weak economy. Burns said he emphasized “America’s strong commitment to building a new partnership with a new, democratic Egypt, founded on common interest and mutual respect,” according to a statement “The United States will do all we can to help ensure a successful transition in Egypt,” Burns added.

Some GOP lawmakers have called on the administration to reconsider foreign aid to Egypt and denounce the election of a Muslim Brotherhood candidate. “The Arab Spring is nothing more than a radical Islamic nightmare,” said GOP Rep. Allen West (Fla.) in a message posted on his Facebook page last month.

Egypt is the Arab world’s most populous state and has been a key U.S. ally. Cairo receives $1.3 billion in military aid annually from the United States.

The White House has rejected a request by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to meet President Barack Obama in the United States this month, an Israeli official said on Tuesday, after a row erupted between the allies over Iran’s nuclear programme.

An Israeli official told Reuters on condition of anonymity that Netanyahu’s aides had asked for a meeting when he visits the United Nations this month, and “the White House has got back to us and said it appears a meeting is not possible. It said that the president’s schedule will not permit that”.

Netanyahu has met with Obama on all the Israeli leader’s U.S. trips since 2009.

As Egypt unravels, Team Obama increases support for Muslim Brotherhood

The news from Egypt is grim. Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood president, Mohammed Morsi made international headlines this week as he appointed Adel Al Khayat as governor of Luxor, an ancient Egyptian city that is key tourist destination.

The problem with Mr. Khayat? He just happens to lead the “political” arm of a terrorist organization that massacred tourists in Luxor in 1997. The details of the attack are beyond grisly, with many of the dead disemboweled and notes “praising Islam” placed inside their mutilated bodies.

When it comes to the Middle East, we have proven to be the worst of friends and the best of enemies.

And that’s not all.

On Tuesday, the New York Times reported on the rise of blasphemy prosecutions since Morsi ascended to power.


In recent cases, Egyptian courts have sentenced a writer to 5 years in prison for allegedly promoting atheism, sentenced a lawyer to a year in prison for allegedly insulting Islam in a private conversation, and fined a Christian schoolteacher $14,000 for allegedly insulting Muhammed in her classroom.

These recent revelations pile on top of the “old” news, including violations of the peace treaty with Israel, failing to protect our American embassy from attacks, and launching systematic crackdowns on Egypt’s Coptic Christian community.

Against this backdrop of Shariah and jihad – and hidden behind the blanket news coverage of the Obama administration’s other scandals – the White House has decided to increase its financial support for the Muslim Brotherhood, quietly clearing the way for the U.S. to give Egypt $1.3 billion in military aid.

On May 10, the very day that Lois Lerner issued her contrived apology for the IRS targeting conservative groups, Secretary of State John Kerry formally waived – on national security grounds – statutory requirements that he certify that Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood government was “implementing policies to protect freedom of expression, association, and religion, and due process of law” before providing any further American military aid.

Think about this for a moment: The Obama administration threw the Mubarak regime (for all its flaws, a stalwart American ally that kept peace with Israel) under the bus ostensibly because of its human rights violations but is waiving human rights conditions to prop up a more brutal jihadist government.

Let’s not forget the motto of the Muslim Brotherhood: "Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Koran is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope."

That is the organization that we are empowering – that we are arming – at American taxpayer expense.

In the coming days and weeks, secular and Christian opposition leaders are planning nationwide protests against a Morsi regime that has proven competent at implementing Shariah law but not at running an economy.

Morsi’s jihadist allies plan a crackdown, and if and when they succeed, you may see the terrible sight of American-made and taxpayer-purchased tanks and other armored vehicles literally crushing the Christian opposition.

The saying goes that there is “no better friend and no worse enemy” than a United States Marine.

The Obama administration has turned this on its head. -- When it comes to the Middle East, we have proven to be the worst of friends and the best of enemies.

We sat on our hands during Iran’s Green Revolution, when the Mullahs were briefly in danger of being overthrown.

We similarly sat on our hands in the early days of the Syrian uprising against the brutal, Iran-allied Assad regime, before jihadists had taken over the Syrian opposition.

But we acted quickly to support the Egyptian uprising, tossing aside a longtime ally.

Across the Middle East, jihad is ascendant. The Mullahs remain comfortably in power in Iran (busy building a bomb), Syria’s opposition is dominated by Al Qaeda-affiliated militias, and Egypt is firmly in the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood.

And now we’re arming Egypt and considering arming jihadist rebels in Syria.

The Obama administration is doubling down on failure – at the expense of Egyptian Christians and the American taxpayer.

White House Slammed for Radical Cleric Meeting

White House officials met this month with Sheik Abdullah bin Bayyah, a deputy of radical Egyptian cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the so-called spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood who has been banned from entering the United States.

The June 13 meeting took place on the same day the Obama administration announced plans to arm Syria's rebel forces, reports the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT).

In a report issued Wednesday, IPT said al-Qaradawi, the founder of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, endorses Palestinian suicide bombers and supports Hamas in its fight against Israel. The report also said bin Bayyah, like al-Qaradawi, also "refuses to label the acts of groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah or the Palestinian Islamic Jihad as terrorism."

Yet the White House reportedly sought the meeting with bin Bayyah, the IPT report declared.

In a post, written in Arabic on his own website, bin Bayyah quoted National Security Council official Gayle Smith as saying, "We asked for this meeting to learn from you and we need to be looking for new mechanisms to communicate with you and the Association of Muslim Scholars," according to IPT. The post carried a picture appearing to show bin Bayyah at a table with U.S. officials in the White House

Other senior officials that bin Bayyah said were in attendance include Rashad Hussain, the U.S. special envoy to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation; White House spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri; and National Security Adviser Tom Donilon.

According to the project, bin Bayyah lobbied the White House to "take urgent action" to help Syrian rebels fighting to overthrow the regime of Bashar al-Assad.

"That the Obama administration would invite to the United States a radical Muslim cleric whose organization supports terrorism and whose leaders have issued fatwas calling for the killing of Americans and Jews is beyond comprehension," IPT Executive Director Steve Emerson told MailOnline. "In my 30 years of covering terrorism, I have never in my life been so appalled and outraged at what can only be called criminal behavior by this administration," Emerson said.
