Guess What Obama is Taking Credit for Now
January 14, 2015 By Jennifer Burke

The pompous Narcissist-in-Chief has to throw himself into the conversation when it comes to anything good. Now, when it comes to bad things or controversy, he goes in the exact opposite direction, placing the blame on others. But, he loves to take credit even where credit to him is not due.

In the first national championship game since the implementation of the college playoff system this season, Ohio State beat Oregon 42-20. Of course, since Obama loves to come across as Mr. Cool Guy in order to keep uninformed voters in awe of his ‘coolness’ and unconcerned about the issues he just had to talk about it.

In addressing congressional leaders, Obama took credit for the college football playoff system since he is one, of many, who said back in 2008 that he thought it was a good idea.

To the speaker, I just want to point out I said there are going to be some things that we agree on. Having a college football playoff is clearly something that we can agree on. I called for it when I came into office. I think it turned out pretty well, particularly for Ohio. So I want to congratulate the Ohio State Buckeyes for their outstanding victory and commend Oregon as well for fielding a great team because their quarterback [Marcus Mariota] is from my original home state of Hawaii.
Note that he made sure to insert Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) into the conversation as well.

Could these elected officials bloviate any more in singing their own praises, for no good reason?

he has already said that if his daughters got pregnant he would support them getting an abortion rather then face "the punishment of a baby"

that is truly some twisted up thinking ... not only is he speaking about his unborn grandchildren ... he considers his own daughters as "punishment" ???

This 82-year-old lady loves Obama and she may have a very good point.

She says that Obama is amazing, and is rebuilding the American dream! She gives us an entirely new slant on the "amazing" job Obama is doing, and she says that she will thank God for the President. Keep reading for her additional comments and an explanation.

    When discussing Obama, she says:

    1. Obama destroyed the Clinton Political Machine, driving a stake through the heart of Hillary's presidential aspirations - something no Republican was ever able to do.

    2. Obama killed off the Kennedy Dynasty - no more Kennedys trolling Washington looking for booze and women wanting rides home.

    3. Obama is destroying the Democratic Party before our eyes! Dennis Moore had never lost a race. Evan Bayh had never lost a race. Byron Dorgan had never lost a race. Harry Reid - soon to be GONE! These are just a handful of the Democrats whose political careers Obama has destroyed. By the end of 2014, dozens more will be gone. Just think, in December of 2008 the Democrats were on the rise. In the last two election cycles, they had picked up 14 Senate seats and 52 House seats. The press was touting the death of the Conservative Movement and the Republican Party. However, in just one year, Obama put a stop to all of this and gave the House and the Senate - back to the Republicans.

    4. Obama has completely exposed liberals and progressives for what they are. Sadly, every generation seems to need to re-learn the lesson on why they should never actually put liberals in charge. Obama is bringing home the lesson very well: Liberals tax, borrow, and spend. Liberals won't bring themselves to protect America. Liberals want to take over the economy. Liberals think they know what is best for everyone. Liberals are not happy until they are running YOUR life.

    5. Obama has brought more Americans back to conservatism than anyone since Reagan. In one year, he has rejuvenated the Conservative Movement and brought out to the streets millions of freedom loving Americans. Name one other time when you saw your friends and neighbors this interested in taking back America!

    6. Obama, with his "amazing leadership," has sparked the greatest period of sales of firearms and ammunition this country has seen. Law-abiding citizens have rallied and have provided a "stimulus" to the sporting goods field while other industries have failed, faded, or moved offshore.

    7. In all honesty, one year ago I was more afraid than I have been in my life. Not afraid of the economy, but afraid of the direction our country was going. I thought, Americans have forgotten what this country is all about. My neighbors and friends, even strangers, have proved to me that my lack of confidence in the greatness and wisdom of the American people has been flat wrong.

    8. When the American people wake up, no smooth talking teleprompter reader can fool them! Barack Obama has served to wake up these great Americans! Again, I want to say: "Thank you, Barack Obama!" After all, this is exactly the kind of hope and change we desperately needed!!

    9. He made Jimmy Carter happy since Jimmy is no longer the worst president we've ever had

After Two Years of Reid Refusing to Bring Bills to a Vote,
Dems Furious that the GOP is Doing This....

    |By Jennifer Burke

    http://www.tpnn.com/2015/01/24/after...is-doing-this/

When Harry Reid’s tenure as Senate Majority Leader ended, he had more than 300 bills from the House, many of them passed in the House in a bi-partisan nature, sitting on his desk. If he didn’t agree with the bill, then he simply refused to allow it to get to the floor for a vote. Perhaps Reid was drawing upon Obama’s “I won, so deal with it” attitude.

With the 2014 midterm elections, Republicans have taken over control of the Senate with Mitch McConnell being sworn in as the new Senate Majority Leader.

Although Democrats attempted to use a vote on the Keystone Pipeline XL to try to prevent then-Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu form losing her seat, giving her a chance to take a vote to simply look good, now they are back to their efforts to prevent the pipeline from becoming a realty.

Noting that the Senate had voted on the more amendments to a bill, fifteen to be exact, as they discuss the Keystone Pipeline XL than Democrats allowed in all of 2014, McConnell then used his power as Senate Majority Leader to put an end to what was beginning to be a constant push for another amendment by Democrats.

This move left Democrats fuming as they got a taste of Harry Reid’s medicine courtesy of the GOP.

The Blaze reports on McConnell’s statement that at some point they must move on, and that they could not work on amendments to Keystone Pipeline forever. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2015...-them-furious/

Late Thursday night, McConnell said the new open process in the Senate led members of both parties to propose a new wave of amendments that he wanted to deal with immediately. He asked senators for an agreement to vote on a series of 12 amendments right then and there.

Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) objected, and said Democrats would be ready to keep working on these amendments on Friday. But McConnell dismissed that and said the Senate should be ready to work on them now. With no agreement, he said his only choice was to start a series of votes to table, or kill, all Democratic amendments.

“Given the fact that they’re reluctant to vote on their own amendments… the only way to go forward is to table their amendments,” he said.
Democrats are outraged. Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill took to Twitter to voice a complaint.

Rather than accept reasonable request to come back in am to debate amndmnts,
McConnell now tabling every D amndmnt, refusing to let Ds speak

She was immediately called out for the hypocrisy by Dan Holler from Heritage Action.

White House In Crisis Mode As Gulf States Blow Off Obama’s Camp David Summit
    by John Hayward - 11 May 2015

Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states hit the Obama White House with a stunning vote of no confidence on Monday, as Saudi King Salman and three other regional leaders announced they would skip President Obama’s Camp David summit, scheduled for later this week.

The snub began with the Saudis, and spread to Bahrain, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates. These nations say they will still send lower-ranked representatives to Obama’s summit meeting. The Saudi snub is particularly pointed because King Salman was supposed to have a one-on-one meeting with President Obama before the summit began. A modicum of face-saving was provided by the Saudis, who cited the beginning of a humanitarian cease-fire in Yemen as the official reason their monarch would not travel to Washington.

As it stands, only the monarchs of Qatar and Kuwait still plan to attend Obama’s summit, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Fox News describes the White House as “scrambling Monday to put a positive face” on the reconfigured summit, but the scramble seems to involve Obama spokesmen looking reporters straight in the eye and denying what everyone knows: the snub is a signal of displeasure over Obama’s posture with respect to Iran and its nuclear program.

“I don’t think they have a deep respect, a deep trust for Obama and his promises,” Emirates University professor of political science Abdulkhaleq Abdullah told Fox News. “There is a fundamental difference between his vision of post-nuclear-deal Iran and their vision. They think Iran is a destabilizing force and will remain so, probably even more, if the sanctions are lifted. … They’re just not seeing things eye to eye.”

The summit is clearly still important to the Gulf states; they evidently want to send the Obama Administration a message about what they expect to hear. The Emirates’ ambassador to the United States put it plainly: “I think we are looking for some form of security guarantee, given the behavior of Iran in the region, given the rise of the extremist threat. In the past, we have survived with a gentleman’s agreement with the United States about security. I think today, we need something in writing. We need something institutionalized.”

A Saudi official added, in equally blunt fashion, that his country is looking for a defensive agreement and military hardware comparable to what the United States shares with Israel. Israel just happens to have an effective missile defense system, called Iron Dome.

“Senior Arab officials involved in organizing the meeting said not enough progress had been made in narrowing differences with Washington on issues like Iran and Syria to make the Saudi ruler’s trip worth it,” writes the Wall Street Journal. They might grow even more annoyed, and suspicious, if the White House keeps pushing its “all is well” spin to the media.

The White House apparently planned to use this summit to sell the Gulf states on the virtues of its nuclear deal with Iran, with a particularly hard sell on Obama’s favorite talking point about how a bad deal is better than no deal. The summit audience evidently wishes to let it be known they expect more than stale talking points.

Remember how President Obama’s campaign and its supporters assured us his suave, debonair, internationalist perspective would make the world love us again, after eight allegedly uncomfortable years under unilateral cowboy George W. Bush? Instead, the world’s loss of respect and trust for America under Obama is palpable. It has gotten so bad that not even Obama-friendly U.S. media can paper it over any more. In fact, that might be one of the reasons the Gulf states decided to deliver this particular message – they knew it would penetrate Obama’s media shield.

Professor Abdullah from Emirates University is further quoted on this point by the Associated Press. He told the AP that “Gulf ties with the United States remain strong, but they have been strained during Obama’s tenure,” citing recent comments by President Obama to the effect that governments like Saudi Arabia’s should quit worrying about Iran and deal with unrest at home. Those comments were clearly taken as a backhanded insult. “You just pre-empted the whole meeting with this kind of statement,” as Abdullah put it

the main problem is one man who thinks he is smarter and wiser than anyone else. he has advisers who have not been able to penetrate the thick wall.

A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool.

Yes, yes climate change is indeed the greatest threat to our national security. Sadly we Christians do not agree with President Obama. Therefore I suppose we are Neanderthal climate change deniers. However, I would rather be called a name by progressive socialists than be beheaded — surely y’all agree.

If what Obama just said about Iran doesn’t infuriate American Jews, NOTHING will
Written by Ashley Edwardson on May 22, 2015

If there were ever any doubt as to where President Obama’s sympathies lie with regards to Iran and Israel, this latest interview with The Atlantic magazine should clear that up pretty easily.

Hello, American Jews, who always vote Democrat, are you paying attention?

As the Jerusalem Post reports, http://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/Pol...olicies-403788 “Obama rejected the notion that anti-Semitism at the highest levels of Iran’s leadership proves that their government is irrational.”

“The fact that you are anti-Semitic, or racist, doesn’t preclude you from being interested in survival,” Obama said, speaking of Tehran’s leadership. “It doesn’t preclude you from being rational about the need to keep your economy afloat; it doesn’t preclude you from making strategic decisions about how you stay in power; and so the fact that the supreme leader is anti-Semitic doesn’t mean that this overrides all of his other considerations.”

Rational? Iran? How can you put those two things in the same sentence? Like WHEN did ANYone threaten Iran’s existence? How many times have you heard Israel (or any other nation) threaten to wipe Iran off the map? Like, NEVER.

Obama also said that, historically, anti-Semitic policies have been executed by governments across Europe and the Middle East at a “low cost.”

A LOW cost? How exactly do you put a value on a human life? How about SIX MILLION lives, Mr. President? Is that a “low cost?”

“His policy is to make clear to the Iranians that the cost is high, he said.”

Talk about a high cost. The U.S. and other foreign leaders signed an interim nuclear pact with Iran last fall that gives Iran more than $6 billion in formerly frozen assets. The United States already returned to Iran $4.2 billion in unfrozen oil assets during the past six months of the interim nuclear deal and has now agreed to provide another $2.8 billion in exchange for an extension in the negotiations.” In other words, we’re paying them to just stay at the table and keep talking until the extended deadline. Even though, as we reported yesterday, Iran is already rejecting most of the key parts of the deal.

Yep, we’ve certainly made it clear the cost is high. To US.

And I guess it’s a good thing for Israelis that Obama “likes” them. Just imagine what might be happening if he held them in disdain.

However, his deep abiding affection for Israel didn’t stop him for saying that “political forces” in Washington seek to provide the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a rubber stamp for its policies. “There has been a very concerted effort on the part of some political forces to equate being pro-Israel, and hence being supportive of the Jewish people, with a rubber stamp on a particular set of policies coming out of the Israeli government,” Obama said.”

Translation: President Obama supports the “people” of Israel but he rarely supports Prime Minister Netanyahu who was elected by the people of Israel — despite Obama’s best efforts.

President Obama also not so subtly pointed out that Prime Minister Netanyahu must have forgotten about his country’s Declaration of Independence. ” When going into an election, Prime Minister Netanyahu said a Palestinian state would not happen under his watch, or there [was] discussion in which it appeared that Arab-Israeli citizens were somehow portrayed as an invading force that might vote, and that this should be guarded against. This is contrary to the very language of the Israeli Declaration of Independence, which explicitly states that all people regardless of race or religion are full participants in the democracy.”

But, they ARE. The number of Arab Members of the Knesset jumped from 12 to 17 in 2015, in part because the parties making up the Joint List’s numbers went up from 10 to 13, and also because the Likud and Zionist Union each added an Arab lawmaker.

How many Jews serve in the government of Iran? Take a wild guess.

I found it particularly rich that President Obama felt obliged — due to his fondness for Israel — to give the Prime Minister a lecture on Israel’s Declaration. Considering the number of times President O himself has made end runs around the Constitution, I think he may have already lost all credibility when it comes to taking the Prime Minister to the woodshed on that one.

Repeatedly declaring that Israel has a right to exist and maintain security, the president then tried to explain how it shouldn’t be a problem for Israel that he is negotiating with Iran (that friendly, highly RATIONAL neighbor who wants to wipe Israel — AND US — off the face of the earth) to make them delay obtaining a nuclear weapon with missile capabilities until he is out of office. Even though Iran wants to annihilate Israel, Obama thinks this has nothing to do with anti-Semitism, even though the Iranians themselves insist it does.

I’m really not sure how this can get any more absurd.
