Home video: Woman gathers family to push Obamacare at Thanksgiving, gets laughed at

It appears as though a woman in this video was attempting to follow the suggestion of Organizing for Action – the Obama grass roots organization that promotes the president’s agenda – by opening a serious discussion on health insurance and ruin everyone’s Thanksgiving in the process. And she got laughed at for her efforts.
I have no idea whether this video is a spoof or whether the woman was a dedicated Obamacare fan. Either way, it’s hilarious.
As everyone laughs, she says, “I’m trying, President Obama, I really am.”

President Barack Obama does not seem to be too keen on the whole “will of the people” thing, based on remarks he made at a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee fundraiser held in Seattle on Sunday.
While discussing with big money donors his efforts to fundamentally change the United States, the president said the House of Representatives presents the “biggest barrier and impediment” to his idea of progress.

Yesterday, the Obama administration and assorted HealthCare.gov mechanics declared victory by saying “we believe we have met the goal” of fixing the troubled website. http://michellemalkin.com/2013/12/01...-met-the-goal/

"In rejecting Obamacare’s Medicaid expansion, these governors will be saving their state taxpayers billions of dollars. Initially, the federal government would have provided additional funding to cover the expansion, but those additional funds would have been phased down, starting in 2017. Eventually state taxpayers would have had to pick up much of the extra cost. For example, over ten years, the Medicaid expansion would have cost taxpayers in states such as Florida, Kansas, and Texas more than $20 billion each, while in New Jersey, for example, the expansion could cost as much as $35 billion..."

How much confidence would you have in your private insurer if the company called and said “you bought a policy from us but but please check and make sure we’re actually covering you”?Quote:
White House spokesman Jay Carney said the White House is “very mindful of making sure that consumers who want coverage starting in January are able to get it.” But there’s no guarantee.
In fact, Carney said the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is “reaching out directly to consumers” who have chosen a health insurance plan, reminding them to pay their first premium — and asking them to make sure they are really covered:
“So there’s a joint effort to reach out to those who have enrolled to make sure that every step is being — that they know they need to take all the necessary steps to ensure that that coverage kicks in,” Carney said on Monday.
At some point Carney will be reminding people that the fine print in the “bronze” plan requires policy holders to perform their own surgeries.

You couldn’t make this stuff up. As the pernicious Obamacare sinkhole continues to expand, taking more and more Americans down with it, the White House had the nerve to tweet this this afternoon:
To say that the Obama White House lacks self-awareness is to be generous. It really seems more and more like we’re dealing with a malicious administration that doesn’t give a second thought to lying through its rotten teeth. Team Obama knew from the start that Americans would be losing their insurance. And even now, the White House is unwilling to admit that the number of people screwed is much, much higher than one millionQuote:
