Steve McNair Shot & Killed in Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Former Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been killed. Police said McNair suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville.
The incident happened near 2nd South & Lea Avenue. A female victim was also found dead.
According to Don Aaron with the Metro Nashville Police Department, no suspects have been taken into custody. Several people were being taken to police headquarters for questioning.

My friend was in Downtown Nashville, her boyfriend called her & told her, she called me to confirm & it hadn't hit the web yet, but it was all over the local channels. They said the first call came in after 1:30 this afternoon, with shots fired.
We're all in shock, guled to the tv., for the latest update.
Definately will be a morbid after thought to every 4th of July, tragic!

Yep, he was with the Ravens the last two years of his career, prior to that he was with the Titans for eleven years.
He was pretty good, three time pro bowler, also led the Titans to the Super Bowl *I think* in the 99 season, they lost, but still, he was good enough to get them there.
He was pretty young, very sad.
