Christian group boycott Mcdonald
OAK BROOK, Ill. — A Christian group that opposes same-sex marriage launched a boycott of McDonald's because of the fast-food chain's support for the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
American Family Association president Tim Wildmon says almost 200,000 people have signed an online pledge to boycott McDonald's for promoting homosexuality instead of remaining neutral.
McDonald's spokesman Bill Whitman says the company has made a financial contribution to the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, and a McDonald's executive serves on the chamber's board. He insists that doesn't mean that McDonald's supports "a particular lifestyle or same-sex marriage."

Corporate America
I don't understand why corporate America has a political agenda. Why don't they do what they do best, shut up and make stuff? You have to wonder who,or what is motivating them.

Reminds me of a study thay did that had students getting signatures to boycott a chemical that was linked to all kinds of "bad" things ... acid rain, drowning deaths, ect People signed without realising they were attempting to ban WATER. Some people are sheep ( hence the term "sheeple" )and just follow the crowd. McD's knows this and in a few weeks 90% of those people will be eating a Big Mac anyway.

"we don't SUPPORT them ... we just give them money.

sigh..here we go again why can't people just give their opinion and leave the thread.People act like by antagonizing and criticizing people posts their opinion on the subject is going to change. If you don't like what someoe says why can't you just say I disagree with what your saying instead of making character attacks.

All i'm saying is theres a heck of alot better things for these christians to be doing, I mean seriously, boycotting a company for giving money to a homosexual organization? That just seems like they have nothing better to do.
