She's probably going to get time served so why appeal. I think she just wants more attention so her book or movie will be more interesting.

She already got "time served". She is a sociopath who sees nothing wrong with doing what ever she wants, when ever she wants regardless of whom it affects. My thoughts : if she were to "win" an appeal on the charges of lying ( good luck on that ! ) then she would have grounds to sue the State of Florida for "unlawfull imprisonment.

An Oklahoma woman says a crazed motorist chased her for miles and rammed her off the road after mistaking her for Casey Anthony.

Sammay Blackwell, 26, feared for her life when her car was hit from behind with such force it flipped two and a half times in the air, landing on the driver's side.

"I said, 'Oh my God, help me,'" Blackwell told local Oklahoma TV station News on 6.

"I just laid there playing dead."

The incident happened in Chouteau, Okla., on July 8, a few days after Anthony was acquitted in Florida of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Blackwell says she was finishing up her shift at the convenience store when Shireen Nalley entered at about 10 p.m. to buy gas.

The customer chillingly told her: "You look like Casey Anthony."

"She said that I was trying to hurt babies, I was killing babies and she was going to stop it before it happened again," said Blackwell, who also has a daughter named Caylee.

Nalley left the store but waited outside until Blackwell's shift ended, and began to follow the convenience store worker in a minivan, according to reports.

"I got in my vehicle and began to back out and looked and could tell she was staring directly at me," Blackwell said.

"I could almost see the white in her eyes."

Nalley continued her pursuit for several miles to a parking lot, where she drove into Blackwell's car with such force it flipped over.

Nalley was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

Police said she may have been on drugs.

The real-life Anthony remains behind bars but is expected to be released Sunday.

She will likely disguise her identity for fear of reprisals

Newly released court documents detailing Casey Anthony's jailhouse conversations with two psychiatrists reveal Anthony's unusually calm demeanor as she spoke about her daughter's death and her accusation that she was molested by her father and brother.

In one deposition, psychiatrist Dr. Jeffery Danziger recounted his "puzzlement" with Anthony's "nice, sweet and pleasant demeanor" as she sat behind bars as the prime suspect in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony. Anthony, 25, was acquitted last summer. "Her demeanor, the best way to say it, is she was calm, cooperative and pleasant as if we were discussing someone who had a parking ticket," Danziger said in an April 7, 2011 deposition.

He notes that she was in a good mood, reading books, sleeping fine and had a good appetite. "No feeling of guilt, not hopeless," he said. "This is someone who is sitting in jail. Her child is missing, presumed dead," Danziger said. "While she had not yet been charged with murder, obviously, she's charged with crimes and is being accused by the whole world in the disappearance of the child. You would expect that that would provoke some measure of distress."

Danziger was taken aback by her reactions and imagined himself in her position. "If my child was missing and I was in jail and being accused of it, I probably wouldn't eat or wouldn't be cheerful and wouldn't be able to read," Danziger concluded.

The second psychiatrist who interviewed Anthony, Dr. William Weitz, also noticed her lack of emotion over Caylee disappearance. He noted Anthony's "complete separation of emotion and affect from the various questions that she's asked to respond to."

"She seems detached from a lot of her feeling and emotion, even in times that one might expect they'd be more reactive and intense," Weitz said.

Weitz said that her reactions could be construed as defense mechanisms, possibly related to her accusations of years of sexual abuse from her father George Anthony and her brother Lee Anthony. In her interviews with the doctors she detailed accusations of sex abuse that were mentioned during her murder trial. She said her father molested her from age 8 to 11 which Danziger recorded as "disgusting, demeaning, intercourse, oral, everything."

Although the father stopped when she was 11 or 12, she claimed her brother Lee molested her from age 12 to 15. "Sometimes wake up to him or wake up bro over my head or unclasped. Wake up once his hands on my chest," the doctor read from his notes from the interview with Anthony.

She claimed that her father assaulted her again when she was 18. "Tried to fight back when I was older. I'm not a big person," the doctor quoted her as saying.

Referring to her calm during the jailhouse interviews, Weitz said in his deposition, "Clearly, Miss Anthony has adopted survivor behavior as she advanced into adulthood, and she exhibits extreme sensitivity in areas related to her family interactions, most specifically with father and brother."

Weitz said that Anthony's behavior could be the same in both the scenario that she killed Caylee and in the scenario that she did not harm her daughter.

Senate committee passes bill similar to "Caylee's Law"

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A bill requiring notification of a missing or deceased child passed in a Senate committee Tuesday morning. This legislation is related to the death of Caylee Anthony; the 2-year-old girl was not reported missing until 31 days after her disappearance. "The death of a child that, after the passage of that time, generally, the evidence of the cause of death is gone and that's due to decomposition," said attorney Jerry Jones. "So, that's the reason for this law is to put a stop to that and it gives us a way to deal with this when someone does harm to the child and just simply fails to report it in an effort to cover it up."

The case would involve parents and caretakers who are in the presence of a child that goes missing or is deceased. Caretakers include anyone who is in the custody of a child at the time of a problem.

If the child is under 17 years old, the caretaker would have 24 hours to file a report.

If the child is 13 years old and under, a report would have to be filed within 12 hours of the incident.

Prosecutors believe this is a good tool to end stories like Caylee Anthony's.

The bill next moves to the full Senate for debate.

NBC NEWS — The defense claimed 2 year-old Caylee Anthony drowned in the family swimming pool, and not only did George Anthony know it, but he helped his daughter Casey cover it up. Cindy Anthony says she learned of the alleged drowning from Casey's defense attorney, Jose Baez, shortly before trial. George was not invited to that meeting. "I was hysterically crying,” said Cindy. “I couldn't believe that my daughter put us all through this, and that she ruined her life - that she, for three years, did not come forward and say something."

"I was never that one to believe a lot of the things, like the drowning,” stated George. “I still don't believe that. I kept on telling her, even the day my son and Cindy came back to our house - when they told me I said, ‘I don't believe it. Why wait for three years and tell us all this stuff?’ I didn't believe anything. I never believed anything that the defense had told me."

The defense claimed Casey first told a story of Caylee's abduction because she had been telling lies for years. The defense also alleged George had been sexually molesting his daughter Casey since she was 8 years-old.

In a sit down interview on the Dr. Phil show, George Anthony denied all accusations of molesting Casey, and his wife believed him. When the jury returned three verdicts, George and Cindy bolted from the courtroom, each with a different reaction. Cindy said, "I was praying for all three not guilty, and I was elated when all three of them came back not guilty."

George disagreed. “Oh my gosh, my daughter is going to walk out of her, and I'm never going to know about Caylee,” thought Casey Anthony’s father. “I felt she needs to have something be held accountable for. If that meant being in jail - that meant being in jail. I didn't want to see my daughter put to death, but i wanted her to be held responsible for my granddaughter. I did, and i still do."

Nearly two years since her acquittal, Casey Anthony is "living free off the kindness of others," she said in bankruptcy court on Monday.

Anthony is managing to stay afloat thanks to the help of loyal supporters who funnel the much maligned mom money and gift cards so she can pay rent and utilities despite her lack of employment, ABC News reports.

Even though she's been called the most hated woman in America, Anthony has a fervent group of supporters who use assumed names and brush off death threats in order to stand by her side.

Casey did not murder Caylee. If you still believe otherwise, then you have some very serious psychological issues you need to deal with. Remember: Convicting on circumstantial evidence & assumptions (because the prosecution couldn’t produce any REAL FACTUAL EVIDENCE) is convenient – and would have made a lot of clueless people very happy in this case – BUT JUSTICE HAS BEEN DONE. Get over it – and get a life!

Despite the monetary assistance from her defenders, Anthony faces an uphill climb in dealing with her financial woes.

The Associated Press reported that Anthony filed for bankruptcy in January, "claiming about $1,000 in assets and $792,000 in liabilities."

At her hearing on Monday, Anthony said she hasn't gotten book, TV or movie offers.

Anthony also said she sold her rights to a dozen photos to her attorney, who then sold them to ABC for $200,000 to help cover legal fees.

Among Anthony's remaining legal obstacles are three civil lawsuits, including one filed by Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez for defamation in Orange County Circuit Court.

Fernandez-Gonzalez claims she was damaged by Anthony telling detectives that a baby sitter by the same name kidnapped Anthony's daughter Caylee.

Anthony's court hearing this week was her first public appearance since she left jail in July 2011 after being acquitted of murder allegations in Caylee's death.

Casey Anthony did not report her daughter missing for 31 days!! That's child neglect at the very least which is considered child abuse. Maybe the people who are behind caseyisinnocent.com need to get a life and stop sticking up for people who obviously are GUILTY!! Poor pitiful Casey, she's not only unfit to be a mom she's now not even having to support herself. Maybe she needs to deal with it. And thank God most people still are discusted when a child is treated the way Caylee was.

I think her supporters, especially the one who runs that website, has some serious issues and lacks a dictionary. "Innocent" and "not guilty" are two very different things. There can be argument of whether or not she committed the crime, but none over the fact that she's not innocent. Had the death penalty not been on the table I'm sure she would've been convicted.
