Woman Mistakenly Calls Officer For Drug Buy
hahahahahaha this isn't the first time I have heard a story like this, but its still as funny
Colbert (AP) - Police in Durant say a woman looking to buy cocaine called a number on her son's cell phone and instead of a dealer she got a Durant police lieutenant.
Ramona Williams was later arrested on a drug complaint. Lieutenant Mike Woodruff says prosecutors are preparing charges of possession of drugs with intent to distribute.
Woodruff says his number was on the cell phone of Williams' son because he had been arrested earlier on drug charges.
He says the son told her that if she ever needed help to give Woodruff a call and Williams apparently misunderstood what the son meant.
Woodruff says he played along and set up a meeting between Williams and an undercover officer and she was arrested with a man identified as Tony Whitt who also went to the meeting.
