Little Debbie recalls Nutty Bars
Little Debbie Nutty Bars are being recalled from
North Carolina and three other states because metal may be in an
ingredient.
According to Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin, McKee
Foods -- based in Collegedale, Tennessee -- said the products were
put in vending machines (last Thursday and Friday) on February 1st
and February 2nd in Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia.
Irvin says the company has asked that consumers who have
purchased products identified with the codes in the recall to
contact McKee Foods at (800) 522-4499 for information and a full
refund.

following retail packages - 12-ounce guaranteed cartons, (12 bars,
twin wrapped) with these carton-end codes: guaranteed fresh MAR 31
2007, 01302091 or guaranteed fresh APR 01 2007, 01312091; 25.2 oz.
cartons, (24 bars, twin wrapped) with these carton-end codes:
guaranteed fresh MAR 31 2007, 01302101 or guaranteed fresh, MAR 31
2007, 01302102; and 3 oz. single-serve packages (2 bars, twin
wrapped) with this code: sell by APR 01 2007, 01312101.)
