    Learning how to use Ibotta

I recently started using Ibotta. A couple of the products I did really well on was Ragu Simply Sauce. Target had it on sale for $1.61 a jar, I found .75 coupons on coupons.com and wish I had printed more and Ibotta gave .75 for every jar up to 5 and reloaded it. Using the coupon and the rebate I spent .11 a jar, wish I had some more .75 coupons. They also had $1.00 off a jar of olives, I went into CVS for a few things and they had Olives on clearance for $1.29, so .29 olives. I'm going to look into Checkout 51. I'm up to $81 in Ibotta and have cashed out $60 so far to my paypal account. I added my referral link under referrals if anyone is interested in giving them a try.

Still getting great deals on Ibotta + coupons + sales, I listed some in the post regarding my Lenten box. I did very well tonight, I had e-mailed Johnson and Johnson and asked for coupons and what I would be using them for and they sent me 4 coupons $2 off any 2 items, not to bad for a min effort, unfortunately they expire 5/1/19. Well I wondered if I would find sales like I did last month at CVS, buy one get one 50% off and the $2 coupons I printed good for 1 item each, before these expire. I listed how I did that somewhere in Neener Neener. But this is how tonight worked out. Ibotta put $1 offers for J&J baby products limit 5 and $1 offers Johnsons Cotton touch limit 5. So I purchased 4 J&J shampoos for 2.92, 1 Johnson Head to Toe wash $2.92 and one Johnsons Cotton Touch for $4.92. I used 3 of the $2 off 2 items, $6 in Ibotta, an Ibotta bonus of $1 for buying both a regular J&J and 1 Cotton Touch, .25 bonus for any baby shampoo and .25 just for having a receipt. So $19.52 worth of baby wash and shampoo for $6.02 and I put in a ticket for .25 credit off "any shampoo bonus", so we will see about that, if that goes through it will be $5.77. And I still have 1 $2 coupon because Cotton Touch is so expensive and each offer had a limit of 5, I'm hoping Ibotta will reload the regular $1 off J&J shampoo, if so I'll pick up 2 more and after getting $4 off they will be .92 each. Between this and the 2 free bars of Johnson and Johnson soap I got earlier, with 2 additional $2 coupons that reloaded on coupons.com, can you believe those little bars are $1.92 each, I will have quite a little stash to give in July when my grandnephew arrives. I have also dabbled in Checkout 51, only have $2 so far but they don't have many things I normally buy or that I can get really cheap. Stay tuned I plan on putting my bargains on this page. If you have some bargains you would like to share please do. I need all the ideas I can get.

Well I lucked out and Ibotta reloaded the $1 off J&J products and I had 1 $2 off 2 items coupon so I got 2 more bottles of shampoo for .94 each. They put out a bonus for $5 if you used 3 offers so I bought 1 Hostess cream cheese Danish and 1 Hostess cinnamon rolls, buy 1 get 1 free or $2 each and an additional .75 off each making them $1.25 a piece and 1 other item that was $1.75 and Ibotta offered .50 off. My 3 items were a total of $3.75 and then I earned the $5 bonus and I'm ahead $1.25. Getting better, still messing up every now and then but so far Ibotta is paying off.

Slowly but surely I've been able to make it to $230.69, surprised even me. I was able to purchase many J&J products for my nephew and his wife for almost nothing by combining coupons, sales and the app. I have a shelf of product for them to use. Was getting laundry soap for my sister, protein bars for another nephew and more donations for the senior center. started using check out 51 but only up to $3 so far they don't have as many things I normally buy as Ibotta. I made money on Cup of Noodles, they were .78 at Walmart but Ibotta gave $1 back, I was able to score 10 after they reloaded once, made $2.20 and donated them to the center.
