    Free Microwave

A sad day in our area Sears closed, who would have ever thought, in the last year we bought a bed and a dishwasher from them along with other things and became Shop your Way members. My husband received an e-mail saying he had SYW points in the amount of $75 that were going to expire in 2 days, logging on to the site we found he had over $150 in shop your way points total. Surprised and very happy we pick out a microwave and got it for free with free delivery. SYW points were also be accumulated at K-mart although we don't shop there. So folks it's time to check all those little things you may have signed up for and check it before you delete an e-mail. My husband thought it was junk and asked me about it because it sounded like he had heard about it before, checked his wallet and low and behold there was a card for them in there. I'm doing a happy dance because a new microwave will be arriving on or about Oct 5th.

That is so totally AWESOME! But it is sad that your Sears went out of business

Everyone says that, I told them if you don't use it you lose it, I can't see how the mall will stay open with only Macys as an anchor store because we lost Bergner's at the same time. Ordering online is handy, but if folks aren't going to the stores they will close. We try to make it a point to support small business in our area, little hardware stores, shops, restaurants etc. Beats walking all over hell half acre at Menards or Lowes but when people think hardware they just run in there. A Walmart is closing in a small town about 45 min away, the people on the news were complaining about where they were going to get their groceries and medicine, and how they were older and can't drive that far. Well you let Walmart run the little guy out because they are cheaper and now they are going to beg them to stay by giving them tax incentives, which is what they want. Just like when they were closing all the post offices, no one mails bills or letters anymore, I got almost no Christmas cards last year I sent out 35, everyone sent me a text, then people complain they want to stop Saturday delivery so I try to mail a few things out every month. Keeps post people working, office workers who have to open the bills, banks that need to deposit the checks, it's amazing how many hands a bill goes through, do it electronic and it goes through no hands at all. No one writes letters anymore, or sends birthday cards, my niece and nephews don't know how to write a thank you note, heck they don't even send me an electronic thanks. My folks had us write a thank you letter for each gift we got even if we said thank you at the time, I do this to this day. Sent some nice gifts to a wedding I couldn't attend and never heard a thing, when I asked if it was received they asked if I got notification from the shipper???? Still doesn't mean you got it just that it got delivered. I could go on and on, but I'm tired of hearing about how the times have changed, I'm 55 not 90 and just because every other child does it doesn't make it right. At moms funeral people were texting in line instead of looking at all the poster boards we made, someone was even playing a game, I know that because I could hear it. Keeps them occupied I was told, we were taught manners and respect.

It came today, still in the box but it wasn't supposed to be here until the 5th. So doing the happy dance, finally got a microwave for the basement family room.
