This made me laugh. As many of you know, I work for Disney. One of the training programs here in California lasts one week and is called "Disney Way I". The last day of training is spent at Disneyland doing a behind the scenes tour, etc. The final thing that all participants do is go out "in character" for a half-hour in the park. The idea is for us to experience everything about Disney.
As you can imagine, it is so much fun. When I did it, I was dressed as a penguin from Mary Poppins. There were 3 of us dressed that way. Honestly, I didn't think we would get much attention because there was a Pluto, Tigger, and Goofy in our group.
I guess because there we three of us we were interesting because we just got mobbed when we entered the park.
And...let me tell you...someone patted my butt...and I don't think it was a child!!!
How do you see out of those things?

It is very hard. There is usually a look out panel. For me, it was at the bottom of the penguins beak...so I could only look down in front of me I couldn't look straight out. Also, I wore glasses at the time...and even though you spray them with an anti-fogging stuff...your glasses will fog up because you are so hot in the costume.
