This is a wonderful idea but I can't get to the website. I get "It doesn't look like you have been invited to read this blog. If you think this is a mistake, you might want to contact the blog author and request an invitation." Please let me know how to get into this blog.
    Thank You

I just read my post from 02-17-2017 and wish I could go back in time, my sweet mom passed away at 91 in July. She has spent a year and a half in assisted living, THANK GOD she bought that insurance 25 years ago, you can't even get her policy anymore, they don't offer it and certainly not at that price. Then she went to hospice for 20 days. She was so special the staff from assisted living including the manager visited her and brought some of the residents to check out her new digs as they put it. She was still giving advice and hospice workers from all over the complex came to talk to her and listen to her stories, sometimes I would be walking down the hall to get some air and one of the staff would be crying because they loved her so, she said the Lords Prayer with every shift. When we cleaned out her apartment she had things she wanted certain staff members to have and we left a lot of stuff so they could give it to someone in need or prizes for game day. Her last words to me were "go home you look tired, I'll see you tomorrow". She lasted another few days but didn't open her eyes, I'm sure she knew we were there. God bless that staff, I could not do their job, you know someone long enough to get attached and then they are gone. There was no pain, there was no fear, she looked forward to seeing her mother, we always talked a lot, nothing went unsaid, her belief in God and Heaven were unshakeable, she was totally at peace, I hope I am that lucky.
