do your kids have to walk to the bus stop and get there shoes nasty?

When I worked I wasn't always available to drive my kids down our road to the bus stop, and back home. And sometimes it was plain muddy and nasty (yes, I fealt horrible, but there was nothing I could do...).
They would so gripe about getting there shoes nasty
SO, those plastic bags you get your groceries in, that you save, and perhaps use for small trash can liners etc... I told them to wrap them up around there feet/shoes. Just slip them on up over them, and tie them around your ankle. Worked great for us, and no more dirty muddy shoes.
I gave them extra to stick in there backpacks for the walk home. Told them to throw them in the bus trash, or put them under a rock at the end of the road so they wouldn't fly away and I would get them on my way home and put them in the trash.

Just be careful because sometimes it makes their feet very slippery.....no traction with plastic bags on.
