This is a full fledged vent! :

I am so sick and tired of people telling me to ''just let it go'', or ''don't let it bother you'', when I have a problem!

Right now I'm going through something at work, and this is the response I'm getting from my team leaders and supervisors. I'm sick of it. I've been complaining about this (person/problem) for over 5 YEARS, and it's just getting worse.

It DOES bother me, and I CAN"T just let it go! It's affecting my work, and other people.

Why are employers so afraid to do anything anymore!!?? Always catering to the trouble makers. They'll say something to me about my complaining, but won't go to the source of the problem!

Then they wonder why so many are quitting!

And they wonder why no one wants to work for them. Bad management will always affect good workers.

My internet keeps dropping out. So annoying when I'm doing a survey, and it doesn't advance, and sometimes I can't finish because the process is interrupted and I can't reload (occasionally I can, but most times, it kills the survey). I have problems with videos sometimes because of it. My neighborhood is in an older part of town, and we don't have the infrastructure to get service from other providers, so we're hostage to one internet service provider.

Every Mothers Day and Fathers Day it's the same thing!!

All the advertisments for both days, feature young parents with young kids! How come you never see ads with sons and daughters in their 40's-50's, with older parents? Don't they count?

One of the better ad campaigns was for Mother's Day first - when they portray four generations, each claiming they got their sense of style from their mom, and the oldest saying, "And they all got it from me!" Then the campaign for Father's Day was with four generations of guys. I don't remember the store (maybe Macy's?) but I liked that included all age groups.

And yes, I agree about dads with young kids only. I don't think parents ever forget that they have kids, no matter what the age. All ages deserve the recognition.
