Thanks. I signed up. Not sure how much I'll use it, but maybe I'll find some things for Christmas.

Hope I remember to cancel it at the end. lol

When I signed up for an Amazon Prime free trial they let me know a day or so ahead so I could cancel. Hopefully Walmart is the same. I didn't bother to sign up. I have at least 5 Walmarts in my general vicinity. If it doesn't come with free shipping to my home I get it shipped to the store. If it doesn't ship to the store for free I don't need it that badly! LOL

    I used this already! lol

I was just too lazy the other day to go out and get groceries, so I orderd online to be delivered to my house. I chose 8-9am delievery time, and he was here at 8:05! He got here before I got the confirmation email, letting me know he was on his way! LOL

It also says I can get gas discount at Sams club.....but I have to download their app. Not sure I want to do that.

Around here the gas is available at Murphy's. You never know -- it might be worth trying it for the 90 free day period, you can always uninstall it later. I don't know how their fuel points work. We get discounted gas at Kroger, their points accumulated monthly. Filled up yesterday and saved $.85 a gallon.

Gas at Sams club is 28 cents a gallon cheaper than all the other gas stations around town. You have to download their app, and then scan the QR code on the pump, to get the discount. It automatically charges it to your card that you have on file with walmart.com.

I have no clue how to scan a QR code! lol. I don't even think my phone can do that. Does anyone know where I would look on my phone to find out if I can do that??

According to google: After you download the app you take a picture of the QR code with your camera.

If you have a credit card on file they will charge you a monthly fee. Just a heads up.
By signing up, you agree that after the 90-day term, your membership will be canceled, unless you add a payment card. If we have a payment card on file for you, we will charge the monthly membership fee of $12.95/month to that card, and thereafter on a recurring basis each month, at the fee then in effect, until you cancel. Contact Customer Care or visit your Account to cancel. No refunds on any plan. This offer is not available to DC residents. Subject to complete Terms.
Keep your hands to yourself, leave other people's things alone, and be kind to one another.

I just realized you can search the Walmart website for gifts under $5. Then sort by Low to High. There are things on there for $.60 (ruled pads) on up, pencils, scotch tape, tons of baby wipes and diapers, and lots of stuff for kids, pets, all kinds of candy, etc. If you've got this 90 day free it includes free shipping. You could add a couple things on for Food Banks and local pet rescue or new parents without breaking the bank. Just a thought.

My trial memebership ends in 7 days. I don't think I'm going to renew it.

The benefits page says I've saved 4 hours, and $33.

I guess the $33 I saved was from delivery fees for my groceries, but if you add in the amount I spent for tipping the drivers, then I've only saved about $10-15.

You only get free delivery if you spend $35, which is a bit hard for me sometimes. (When I shop Aldi's, I average $15-20 per trip).

I didn't download the app for gas at Sams Club. They aren't open when I go to work, and on my way home, the line is usually out on the road. Plus, I don't want to start using apps.

I already get my prescriptions at Wal Mart, so no additional savings there.

I didn't do any online shopping, so no savings there either.

I did enjoy having my groceries delivered those times, but I really don't see how I saved any time. The time spent scrolling and searching online would have been just as long as walking through the aisles.

It was nice to have, but for me not worth the cost.
