    Free Netbook & Children's Software

EDIT: IT APPEARS THAT THEY ARE NO LONGER GIVING AWAY NETBOOKS. YOU WILL ONLY RECEIVE FREE SOFTWARE.

    Hi All!
I've been testing a new computer product geared towards children for the past several months. They sent me a netbook, wireless mouse and wireless keyboard (all to keep!) so that I could test their software. They're now looking for new beta testers and are asking existing testers (like me!) to refer new ones. This is not JUST a freebie! You WILL have to complete surveys related to the product and interact with the developers. It's not a ton of work, but you must be up for the responsibility.

If you're interested, please email Geraldine Tortelier at geraldine@playsmrt.com with the following information:

    • Your name, address, email address, kids’ gender/s, first names and dates of birth

YOU MUST TELL THEM YOU WERE REFERRED BY ME (Jamie Giles)

    • Please ALSO go to http://www.playsmrt2.com/interest.php and to fill and submit the form, with the same information as above in the comment box. YOU MUST ALSO MENTION YOU WERE REFERRED BY ME in this step as well.l

Sit back and wait and hope you get chosen!

    Good Luck!

    Jamie

my daughter just turned 7. is it only for kids 1 - 6?

If you have small children (1- 6) clamoring to use a computer - but aren't comfortable letting them use one unsupervised, there's a cool new option coming we just peeked at. PlaySmrt lets your child safely engage with age-appropriate sites, movies, activities, games, and videos on their own. A password to exit prevents your child from inadvertently accessing inappropriate content. Parents and teachers recommend and rate content so you can easily select and refresh your child's content to stay current with their interests. Please complete the form below for more information.

    HI Soupy,
I'm really not sure. I'd say apply and see what they say! Thanks!

I sent the email and then went to the interest page. Makes me look like a dummy since the interest page says kids 1-6 and mine are 7 and 9. LOL! That will teach me not to jump so quick!

    Thanks anyway, JKATHERINE!
