Going to make many of my Christmas gifts this year.

A couple years ago I received plastic spoons dipped in chocolate wrapped in cellophane and tied with a bow, they were very cute and great to stir coffee with. I was thinking about them the other day and was thinking about other things people had made in the past and thought I'd give it a try. Thinking about making wallets for my brother-in-laws from duct tape, they have so many different colors now they might come out very cool. What are you thinking about?

Not sure how you would make them, but they should be some of the most durable wallets out there.

Sorry, it took so long to reply but something happened to my computer and my genius hubby figured out the boot sector of my hard drive was corrupted and fixed it. I was so afraid I would have to buy a new one, nothing would load. Anyway do a search, there are so many things that can be done with duct tape, I'm going to line them with aluminum foil, https://pocketsense.com/way-protect-...rds-18335.html. I knew someone who made flowers. It's crazy the ideas people come up with. I'm also making bags of snowman poop, deer poop, elf poop, yes you can look up the tags for those also and print them yourself. There is just to much junk out there to buy that no one needs, for my neice and nephews it will be cash, probably not enough to fill a gas tank anymore but I'm not going to gift card route ever again, it's just money traped in plastic forcing them to buy from a perticular store. Baby supplies I've gotten very cheap between coupons and Ibotta for the very little ones, I think they are still using some of the lotion and shampoo I gave them over the summer. My Thanksgiving box is almost ready for the senior center, I can't believe the deals, so much for almost free, I even got Polident tablets, 40 tabs for 2.98, $1.50 from Ibotta and $1 coupons off their website, I can get 2 for .48 each, cup of noodles are .78 and I get .75 back each limit 2 from Ibotta, came across some crochet throw blankets I've had for years, gifts received that I've never used and some shoes still in the boxes that I'll be sending to the senior center or a local church looking for gifts for low income parishioners. Keeping busy. What are you doing for the holidays?

It's a couple days before Christmas and I'm sorry to say these past 2 months have been way to busy for me to complete my ambitious plan of making all my gifts. I think I will work on them starting them after the 1st of the year, so many family things going on.

I buy small gifts throughout the year if I see something that has appeal. But now I need to sort through and organize what I have, and for whom. I know I have at least one belated birthday gift that I need to mail. I did manage to knit a simple scarf for my sweetie, which he really enjoys.

What I really need to do is set up my calendar and schedule time to work on gifts. I've been meaning to set up a craft area to do some jewelry work.
