Hey all you wrinkly, middle-aged has-beens: Are you ready to move over and let the next generation have your spot on the planet? After all, you’ve lived a good life. Yes, it sounds like something out of a zombie movie, but it’s been going on now for several years as we’ve been reporting. Disguised as environmental stewardship, Agenda 21 is nothing more than repackaged Socialism, and many heavy-hitters with billions of dollars and a worldwide influence are behind it.

A few days ago much interest in this community was piqued by a discussion about Agenda 21. So I contacted an aquaintance, Mr. Barry Hugghins, and solicited his views. Mr Hugghins has earned degrees in psychology and chemical enginneering, is a business man, with experience in the international trade markets and holds an elective office in another parish. He is also on the Board of the Louisiana Tea Party. Through the years he and I have had conversations about social, political and historic matters; he is possessed of an admirable intellect. Thus, with his permission, I post, with Mr. Freneaux's kind assistance, Mr. Hugghin's response to my inquiry relative to Agenda 21.

Agenda 21 is a hot topic everywhere because, although it's 20 years old, the public is just now waking up to it.Tea Parties are solidly against Agenda 21, and are working hard to educate the public about what it is and what it could mean. Tea Parties are also working to prevent its implementation, and to repeal it where it has gained a foothold. My basis for opposing Agenda 21 is the fact that its view of property rights is inconsistent with the view of our founders, as expressed in our constitution. Agenda 21 is based on a very collectivist, socialist, anti private property worldview as opposed to the American idea of individual property ownership. Agenda 21 promotes shifting the determination of growth patterns into the hands of the government and away from individual choice. If enacted, it functions as a very great obstacle to self-determination in the use of your own property. I see this as a "taking" of property, and in most cases it will be an uncompensated taking, which us counter to the intent of our founders.Agenda 21 also grows government, something we have more of now than we can afford.Basically, it boils down to this: who has the right to determine what you can do with your own property, you or the government? If you believe that this right solely belongs to the property owner, then Agenda 21 is a serious threat to this basic American right.

Thank you, Jolie Rouge, for posting this. I was pleasantly surprised to see this thread because more people need to be made aware of what's going on. Those who are the driving force behind Agenda 21 are not just targeting big cities -- they're also going after the smaller towns. What appear to be harmless policy decisions by city councils are in fact the seeds being sown to implement this strategy -- whether city officials know it or not.

If you really want to learn more, may I suggest starting with Glenn Beck's new book Agenda 21[I]. Everything up until the last chapter is a novel and will remind readers of [I]1984 or The Hunger Games. You're free to stop there, but it's the last chapter that will open your eyes.

Of course, Muslims are more or less subject to a separate system of justice in America.

Agenda 21 And the Climate Change Lie

A month after CNN anchor Deb Feyerick wondered if an approaching asteroid “is an example of, perhaps, global warming,” we learn from David Whitehouse of the Global Warming Policy Foundation that, “The global temperature standstill shows that climate models are diverging from observations. If we have not passed it already, we are on the threshold of global observations becoming incompatible with the consensus theory of climate change.”

So, all the global warming alarmists who say we need to change the way we live because everything we do is harming the planet and causing temps to rise are going to have to come up with another excuse to control our lives, Agenda 21-style.

Even though global warming hysteria had not begun in 1992, over 200 countries signed on to introduce “sustainable development” into society, through the U.N. program Agenda 21. Maurice Strong, who was Secretary General of the U.N.’s Earth said, “Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class – involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable.” So, Agenda 21 was created to stop all that affluence—your United States affluence—from harming the planet.

But then Agenda 21 became a bad word when people figured out what it was. And every bad idea needs a great marketing plan. Sustainability became SMART GROWTH, and buzzwords were used like BIODIVERSITY, LIVEABLE CITIES, ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, and GOING GREEN.

Today, Obama is calling it “FUTURE EARTH.” But no matter what name it goes by, it is a comprehensive global scheme hatched by elitist “one per centers” who want to control the way you live, create an international jurisdiction and profit off your existence.

This is being done all in the name of saving the planet, of course.

Little codes and regulations are creeping into your local area right now. The International Code Council has developed a large number of “international codes” which will replace existing building codes across the United States. They may seem harmless, but in fact they have been rewritten to include Agenda 21 objectives and penalties. A Code Official can deem your house or your land harmful and fine you, jail you, and banish you from the premises, all without due cause or process. As you read this, the U.N. is working on regulations that will interfere with your family size, your property, the way your home is built, and how you commute to work. The best advertisement against Agenda 21 can be found in the words of the document itself and its supporters:

■Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all humans, unlike anything the world has ever experienced… ” Agenda 21: The Earth Summit Strategy to Save Our Planet (Earthpress, 1993)

■“No one fully understands how or even, if, sustainable development can be achieved; however, there is growing consensus that it must be accomplished at the local level if it is ever to be achieved on a global basis.” The Local Agenda 21 Planning Guide, published by ICLEI, 1996.

■“Individual rights will have to take a back seat to the collective.” Harvey Ruvin, Vice Chairman, ICLEI. The Wildlands Project

■"The root causes of the loss of biodiversity are embedded in the way societies use resources. This world view is characteristic of large scale societies…it is a world view that is characterized by the denial of sacred attributes in nature, a characteristic that became firmly established about 2000 years ago with the Judeo-Christian-Islamic religious traditions.” (Global Biodiversity by the UN Environmental Programme)

Dear Patriotic Ladies & Gentlemen,

We regret to inform you that you have been targeted for extinction. The United Nations has decided that you and your offspring are a threat to Mother Earth, and you must be terminated. Agenda 21’s manual proclaims that:


Global warming, the depletion of fuel, water, food, and the like, is the direct cause of human intervention. The real enemy is humanity itself. The damage people cause the planet is a function of demographics equal to the degree of development. The ecological crisis was really the population crisis. Cut the population by ninety-plus percent and you stop injuring the earth by an equal amount.”

Agenda 21 is a threat to humanity, freedom and our Constitution. You may recall Conservative Daily has run a series of articles on Agenda 21 and its indoctrination program known as Common Core, but never have we connected all the dots so definitively for you. The more we research this, the more frightened we become.

The premise is this: “Sustainability” proponents believe that the Earth is under an imminent threat from humans, and therefore humanity must be controlled, limited and ultimately eliminated. The United States of America and other Westernized nations are considered especially dangerous, because our technology, our lifestyles and our free choice consume resources that radical environmentalists believe should only be used by animals and nature.

Agenda 21 lists the following as NOT sustainable: Ski runs, grazing of livestock, plowing of soil, building fences, industry, single family homes, paved and tarred roads, logging activities, dams and reservoirs, power line construction, and economic systems that fail to set proper value on the environment.

But how can they assure that humans are wiped out?

Hello, Obamacare death panels. Democrat strategist Steven Rattner said, “We need death panels…until we start allocating health care resources more prudently—rationing, by its proper name—the exploding cost of Medicare will swamp the federal budget.”

Rahm Emanuel’s brother Dr. Ezekial Emanuel received 2009 stimulus funds for his research council. Emanuel is a huge proponent of rationing care for the elderly and disabled. Obama advisor Cass Sunstein is known for his advocacy of human euthanasia and argues that human life varies in value. Science czar John Holdren states in his book Ecoscience, “To provide a high quality of life for all, there must be fewer people.”

These are the people the President of the United States surrounds himself with, because he agrees with their views and admires their philosophies.

Think of how fondly the Democrats praise Planned Parenthood, how Obama thanks them for doing great work. The world is prepared to KILL OUR CHILDREN if it means the poor, fragile Mother Earth would live to see another minute.

Listen to what a couple of medical ethicists from Oxford University have to say about killing off our population (the word ethics being associated with any of these views is simply appalling): “…what we call after-birth abortion should be permissible. … [W]e propose to call this practice ‘after-birth abortion’, rather than ‘infanticide,’ to emphasize that the moral status of the individual killed is comparable with that of a fetus … rather than to that of a child. Therefore, we claim that killing a newborn could be ethically permissible in all the circumstances where abortion would be.”


This is the true war on women. Agenda 21 must be exposed in every city in America and stopped, before it is too late to turn back. Send a message now and end this radical and dangerous plan.

The problem with all this anxiety over population control is that it’s not necessary: the population is not exploding at alarming levels; birth rates are on the decline. But as Paul Watson, co-founder of Greenpeace says, “It doesn’t matter what is true, it only matters what people believe is true.”

Slate.com ran an article in January of this year reporting, “according to experts’ best estimates, the total population of Earth will stop growing within the lifespan of people alive today. And then it will fall. This is a counterintuitive notion in the United States, where we’ve heard often and loudly that world population growth is a perilous and perhaps unavoidable threat to our future as a species.”

The article goes on to note that “population decline is a very familiar concept in the rest of the developed world, where fertility has long since fallen far below the 2.1 live births per woman required to maintain population equilibrium.”

Germany, Spain, Western Europe, Russia, and China…all the numbers suggest a declining population, in some places by as much as HALF.

But, this information is inconvenient. Sustainability is the back door through which socialism will take over. And who will administer all this humanitarian justice? The enlightened elitists, of course. James Lovelock told the UK’s Guardian, “Democracy must be put on hold” in order to fight global warming and only “a few people with authority” should rule the Earth until we get this crisis under control.”

Professor Maurice King believes that, “Global sustainability requires the deliberate quest of poverty, reduced resource consumption and set levels of mortality control.”

You mean nothing to these elitists, who believe that “human beings, as a species, have no more value than slugs” – that is from John Davis, of the Earth First Journal.

On August 13th Obama is scheduled to give a speech asking for MORE TAXPAYER MONEY to combat climate control.

In essence, he is asking you to sign your own death warrant.

And in case you don’t see the full picture Obama and the globalists are trying to paint for you, you soon will. Obama is hiring a "Behavioral Insights Team" that will look for ways to subtly influence your behavior. This “nudge” program is based on a similar project implemented in England, where people were encouraged to sign up for retirement benefits, or insulate their homes better. It is based on a 2008 book by Obama’s buddy Cass Sunstein, who we told you above argues strongly for human euthanasia.

As a proud American citizen, you should be very frightened right now to see the big picture of what is happening. The environmentalists have taken over the nation’s discourse and are infiltrating our schools as we speak with the educational program known as Common Core. We are all going to be conditioned to believe as Reed Noss of the Wildlands Project that, “The native ecosystems and the collective needs of non-human species must take precedence over the needs and desires of humans.”

Once the humans are contained, confined, and many of them starved off or aborted, the birds and bees and trees can live harmoniously and all will be right with the planet.

Top Vatican adviser Jeffrey Sachs says that when Pope Francis visits the United States in September, he will directly challenge the “American idea” of God-given rights embodied in the Declaration of Independence.

Sachs, a special advisor to the United Nations and director of the Earth Institute at Columbia University, is a media superstar who can always be counted on to pontificate endlessly on such topics as income inequality and global health. This time, writing in a Catholic publication, he may have gone off his rocker, revealing the real global game plan.

The United States, Sachs writes in the Jesuit publication, America, is “a society in thrall” to the idea of unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But the “urgent core of Francis’ message” will be to challenge this “American idea” by “proclaiming that the path to happiness lies not solely or mainly through the defense of rights but through the exercise of virtues, most notably justice and charity.”

In these extraordinary comments, which constitute a frontal assault on the American idea of freedom and national sovereignty, Sachs has made it clear that he hopes to enlist the Vatican in a global campaign to increase the power of global or foreign-dominated organizations and movements.

Sachs takes aim at the phrase, which comes from America’s founding document, the United States Declaration of Independence, that “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

These rights sound good, Sachs writes, but they’re not enough to guarantee the outcome the global elites have devised for us. Global government, he suggests, must make us live our lives according to international standards of development.

“In the United States,” Sachs writes, “we learn that the route to happiness lies in the rights of the individual. By throwing off the yoke of King George III, by unleashing the individual pursuit of happiness, early Americans believed they would achieve that happiness. Most important, they believed that they would find happiness as individuals, each endowed by the creator with individual rights.”

While he says there is some “grandeur in this idea,” such rights “are only part of the story, only one facet of our humanity.”

The Sachs view is that global organizations such as the U.N. must dictate the course of nations and individual rights must be sacrificed for the greater good. One aspect of this unfolding plan, as outlined in the Sachs book, The End of Poverty, involves extracting billions of dollars from the American people through global taxes.

“We will need, in the end, to put real resources in support of our hopes,” he wrote. “A global tax on carbon-emitting fossil fuels might be the way to begin. Even a very small tax, less than that which is needed to correct humanity’s climate-deforming overuse of fossil fuels, would finance a greatly enhanced supply of global public goods.” Sachs has estimated the price tag for the U.S. at $845 billion.

In preparation for this direct assault on our rights, the American nation-state, and our founding document, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon told a Catholic Caritas International conference in Rome on May 12 that climate change is “the defining challenge of our time,” and that the solution lies in recognizing that “humankind is part of nature, not separate or above.”

The pope’s expected encyclical on climate change is supposed to help mobilize the governments of the world in this crusade.

But a prestigious group of scholars, churchmen, scientists, economists, and policy experts has issued a detailed rebuttal, entitled, “An Open Letter to Pope Francis on Climate Change,” pointing out that the Bible tells man to have dominion over the earth.

“Good climate policy must recognize human exceptionalism, the God-given call for human persons to ‘have dominion’ in the natural world (Genesis 1:28), and the need to protect the poor from harm, including actions that hinder their ascent out of poverty,” the letter to Pope Francis states.

Released by a group called the Cornwall Alliance, the letter urges the Vatican to consider the evidence that climate change is largely natural, that the human contribution is comparatively small and not dangerous, and that attempting to mitigate the human contribution by reducing CO2 emissions “would cause more harm than good, especially to the world’s poor.”

The Heartland Institute held a news conference on April 27 at the Hotel Columbus in Rome to warn the Vatican against embracing the globalist agenda of the climate change movement. The group is hosting the 10th International Conference on Climate Change in Washington, D.C., on June 11-12.

However, it appears as if the Vatican has been captured by the globalist forces associated with Sachs and the United Nations.

Voice of the Family, a group representing pro-life and pro-family Catholic organizations from around the world, has taken issue not only with the Vatican’s involvement with Sachs, but with Ban Ki Moon, describing the two as “noted advocates of abortion who operate at the highest levels of the United Nations.”Sachs has been described as “arguably the world’s foremost proponent of population control,” including abortion.

Voice of the Family charges that environmental issues such as climate change have become “an umbrella to cover a wide spectrum of attacks on human life and the family.”

Although Sachs likes to claim he was an adviser to Pope John Paul II, the noted anti-communist and pro-life pontiff, Sachs simply served as a member of a group of economists invited to confer with the Pontifical Council on Justice and Peace in advance of the release of a papal document.

In fact, Pope John Paul II had worked closely with the Reagan administration in opposition to communism and the global population control movement. He once complained that a U.N. conference on population issues was designed to “destroy the family” and was the “snare of the devil.”

Pope Francis, however, seems to have embraced the very movements opposed by John Paul II.

Sachs, who has emerged as a very influential Vatican adviser, recently tweeted that he was “thrilled” to be at the Vatican “discussing moral dimensions of climate change and sustainable development.” The occasion was a Vatican workshop on global warming on April 28, 2015, sponsored by the Pontifical Academy of Sciences of the Roman Catholic Church. Sachs was a featured speaker.

The plan going forward involves the launching of what are called “Sustainable Development Goals,” as envisioned by a Sustainable Development Solutions Network run by none other than Jeffrey Sachs.

“The Network has proposed draft Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which contain provisions that are radically antagonistic to the right to life from conception to natural death, to the rights and dignity of the family and to the rights of parents as the primary educators of their children,” states the group Voice of the Family.

In July, a Financing for Development conference will be held, in order to develop various global tax proposals, followed by a conference in Paris in December to complete a new climate change agreement.

Before that December conference, however, Sachs says the pope will call on the world at the United Nations to join the crusade for a New World Order.

Sachs says, “Pope Francis will come to the United States and the United Nations in New York on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the United Nations, and at the moment when the world’s 193 governments are resolved to take a step in solidarity toward a better world. On Sept. 25, Pope Francis will speak to the world leaders—most likely the largest number of assembled heads of state and government in history—as these leaders deliberate to adopt new Sustainable Development Goals for the coming generation. These goals will be a new worldwide commitment to build a world that aims to harmonize the pursuit of economic prosperity with the commitments to social inclusion and environmental sustainability.”

Rather than emphasize the absolute need for safeguarding individual rights in the face of government overreach and power, Sachs writes that the Gospel teachings of humility, love, and justice, “like the teachings of Aristotle, Buddha and Confucius,” can take us on a “path to happiness through compassion” and “become our guideposts back to safety.”

Writing elsewhere in the new issue of America, Christiana Z. Peppard, an assistant professor of theology, science, and ethics at Fordham University, writes about the “planetary pope,” saying, “What is really at stake in the collective response to the pope’s encyclical is not, ultimately, whether our treasured notions of theology, science, reality or development can accommodate moral imperatives. The real question is whether we are brave enough and willing to try.”

The plan is quite simple: world government through global taxes, with a religious face to bring it about.

Christiana Figueres, the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, recently stated in an interview that the Earth is already over burdened with people and that we should look at depopulating the planet.

“There is pressure in the system to go toward that; we can definitely change those, right? We can definitely change those numbers,” Figueres stated.

“Really, we should make every effort to change those numbers because we are already, today, already exceeding the planet’s planetary carrying capacity.” she claimed.

“So yes we should do everything possible. But we cannot fall into the very simplistic opinion of saying just by curtailing population then we’ve solved the problem. It is not either/or, it is an and/also.” Figueres continued.

Figueres also blatantly stated earlier this year that the true purpose of the entire global warming scare is to kill off capitalism. Now, even after this admission, she’s claiming we need to get rid of a large percentage of the world’s population due to climate change. Of course, most of the sheeple in the world will ignore her admission as well as the undeniable evidence that climate change is the greatest science scandal of all time – as illustrated by the fact the someone has been ‘fudging the numbers’ that give credit to this scam.

The other great lie is that we have a problem with the Earth’s population. Actually fertility rates are falling.

Climate One is a self described public affairs forum which advocates extreme action to combat climate change. It is a branch of The Commonwealth Club of California based in San Francisco, essentially a talking shop visited regularly by heads of government and corporate business.

Figueres is no stranger to controversial statements when it comes to climate change. The UN official previously described the goal of the UNFCC as “a complete transformation of the economic structure of the world.”

She has also repeatedly said that a Chinese style communist dictatorship is better suited than the U.S. constitutional system to fight “global warming.”

Figueres told Bloomberg News last year that the Chinese government (which continues to enforce forced abortions, infanticide and compulsory sterilization) is “doing it right” when it comes to climate change, even though China is by far the biggest emitter of greenhouse gasses.

Figueres noted that a partisan divide in the U.S. Congress is “very detrimental” to passing climate related legislation, while the Chinese Communist Party, sets policies by decree. President Obama clearly agrees given that he continues to bypass Congress by issuing executive orders on climate change.

As InfoWars has continually noted, there is a fundamental flaw in associating climate change with overpopulation.

Populations in developed countries are declining and only in third world countries are they expanding dramatically. Industrialization itself levels out population trends and even despite this world population models routinely show that the earth’s population will level out at 9 billion in 2050 and slowly decline after that. “The population of the most developed countries will remain virtually unchanged at 1.2 billion until 2050,” states a United Nations report. The UN’s support for depopulation policies is in direct contradiction to their own findings.

Once a country industrializes there is an average of a 1.6 child rate per household, so the western world population is actually in decline. That trend has also been witnessed in areas of Asia like Japan and South Korea. The UN has stated that the population will peak at 9 billion and then begin declining.

In addition, as highlighted by the Economist, global fertility rates are falling.

Since radical environmentalists are pushing to de-industrialize the world in the face of the so called carbon threat, this will reverse the trend that naturally lowers the amount of children people have. If climate change fanatics are allowed to implement their policies, global population will continue to increase and overpopulation may become a real problem – another example of how the global warming hysterics are actually harming the long term environment of the Earth by preventing overpopulated countries from developing and naturally lowering their birth levels.

Even if you play devils advocate and accept that humans do cause catastrophic warming and there are too many of us, and if you can skip past the eugenics connotations of population control and depopulation policies, those methods are fundamentally still not a valid solution to the perceived climate change threat.

The real solution would be to help increase the standard of living of the cripplingly poor third world, allowing those countries to industrialize, and seeing the population figures naturally level out.

Instead, the third world has seen a doubling in food prices owing to climate change policies such as turning over huge areas of agricultural land to the growth of biofuels.

In addition, Climate legislation continually pushed by the developed world has those nations taking on less of a burden than anticipated demanding more of poorer countries, despite the fact that any further cuts in CO2 emissions will further cripple their flimsy economies and poverty-stricken people.

Previous legislation, such as the Copenhagen agreement, allowed people in developed countries to emit twice as much carbon per head than those in poorer countries, who have not caused the rise in emissions said to be threatening our existence on the planet. The revelations have led third world leaders to accuse the developed world of “climate colonialism”.

Linking environmental policy to depopulation agendas opens the door to eugenics and it is no surprise that through that door have come pouring hordes of elitist filth just begging to be on the front line of the extermination policy.

One example is UK-based public policy group The Optimum Population Trust (OPT), which has previously launched initiatives urging wealthy members of the developed world to participate in carbon offsets that fund programs for curbing the population of developing nations.
