question for people in or near ft. lauderdale...

i will be taking a cruise in a few months and hubbys airline doesnt fly into miami, but goes into ft. lauderdale. any suggestions on a taxi, or car service that can get us from lauderdale to miami for a reasonable rate? or unless one of you lives there and has room for four plus luggage, i would be happy to pay you! LOL! TIA :)

That is too funny. Inexpensive transportation from Miami International Airport. LOL. You might want to check into renting a car it would probably be cheaper than taking a taxi or car service.

Check with the cruise line and see if they have transportation from the airport to the port. I know Disney lines do that in Orlando.

Just happened to see this...YES do check with your cruise line..they most likely have a shuttle service from the airport to the cruise ship...

you could look into tri-rail... I've been told it is a piece of cake going to Miami, depending where you go - give them a call, they should know connections etc to help you out.
