I am new to scrapbooking as well. I think it is OK to use computer paper. I went to Walmart and purchased acid free paper. I don't know if all paper is acid free or not, but, I went and bought paper that specifically said acid free. It is Multi-purpose paper. I just make sure that stuff that has printer ink on it does not directly touch my pictures. I don't know if you can buy printer ink that is acid free. I have not checked into that. Maybe check with your local store that you buy your printer ink at. I hope this helps.

it is best to use acid & lignin free paper. you should be able to find packs at craft/hobby stores. just make sure your ink doesn't touch your pics.
