I guess they don't think the voters in the DFW area are worth votes... there have been very few political commercials here... at least not from seeing them when I skim through commercials on my dvr... I don't watch much live TV.

I tape all my favorite shows and am able to FF through the nonsense and rarely watch TV as it airs. I really hate ads...all ads. Well, I have to say I think the AFLAC goose is kind of funny and I saw an ad many many years ago by Pampers and all it was, was baby wild animals and at the end the word 'Pampers.' Now that's my kind of ad!

I am so with you on both accounts. JCP is doing away with their constant stream of promotions & passing these so-called reductions directly on you. The costs associated with all of those price change came with the price tag of job losses to thousands of employees who were responsible for making those sales happen. My sister who has been with the company for 20 years lost her jpb due to this.

My shopping has vastly slowed down the past year or 2 at Penney's when they made their incentives less & less. The past 2 years I received just 1 $10 off coupon as opposed to the 8-10 I used to receive. I never received my birthday discount this year however on my monthly statement they did mention about my being part of their amazing birthday discount BUT there never was a birthday discount given to me. With this last statement I am finished shopping at JCP.

*Note: just think only 10 1/2 more months until Black Friday commercials start. ;) LOL Target anyone?

it's probably because your primary is April 3rd and for us here in Florida it is Tuesday - you'l get yours...

justme23 be glad you are not in Florida right now. It has been hideous. I am so sick of them and the first 20 minutes of the new (that is only on for 1/2 hour) is just about politics. So tired of them. I think once you go vote you should be able to avoid all the commercials - I voted last Tuesday and am still stuck with them.

I only shop JCP when I have a $10 coupon. I got 3 in October/November but much fewer in the preceding months. If they do away with the coupon, I won't be shopping there.
