This is my friend Amy's daughter Sadie.
She has been missing for 8 days now and Amy cant seem to get this town's attention to the fact that her minor child has possibly ran off with a young man who should be in jail for a Murder in 2008!
Please Please keep your eyes peeled and if you see Sadie please give Amy a call and let her know or contact me [email protected] if you are not a phone person.
She has heard people say that Sadie had a bus ticket purchased for her to Kansas but this we can not confirm...
Keep Amy and her family in your thoughts and prayers as she goes through this ordeal.:pray

It's posted on their local news stations facebook page back on Sept 16th, and the station said they'd check in to it, but I see nothing more recent.

Nothing on her mothers facebook page more recent then Sept 14th either??

If she is a runaway the police can't do anything such as an amber alert.

Here, in texas the police won't bother with a 17 yr old runaway...they are considered of age.
I know, because jesse (my son) ran away at that age. At first when we called a female officer
came to take the info...and she said she'd drag him back in handcuffs if need be, then a male
officer came and he stated, that there was not much they can do. Said that jesse needed to
call them so that they would know he was alright??? Jesse came home a week later, thank god...
I'm gonna ask jesse if he can help me post this to my fb page...he knows what he put us thru...

I don't have a clue how, and jesse is on the road (trucker) so i'll have to wait 'til next week,
as for now...i stand strong in prayer.

I have posted on Facebook, I made the flyer, her mom has not posted anything because there hasn't been anything to report. They can not do an amber alert due to her taking off with this guy its not an abduction. I just wanted to get the word out. Thank you for taking the time to look. Will report if we find her.

Amber alerts are only sent out for younger children. They will consider this young lady a run away and that is why they are not looking for her.
