It's been raining all day long
It did things down no humidiy
How ever I keep getting really bad hot flashes
They are making me crazy.

Does any one know how to deal with hotflashes
Hoping for some advise

There are some natural remedies which did absolutely nothing for me. In fact, recent studies found them to be totally ineffective...but google to see what they are if you want to check them out.

The best thing, IMHO, is Hormone Replacement Thereapy (HRT) via prescription from your doctor. There were some studies that show HRT did cause a very slight increase in the risk of breast cancer, though. So, you need to decide what risk you are willing to take. The risk of breast cancer is very small, but it is still there. It is possible to just take the HRT for a few months...until the hot flashes pass. However, sometimes the hot flashes last all the way through perimenopause into the first couple of years of menopause. In that case, I suggest carrying a fan with you.

I've been there....hugs!

A friend of mine actually carries a spray bottle that has a fan attached so she gets a cool mist when she has a "power surge".
