when does school start for you?

my son has a half day on 9/9 then has 9/10 off

The school I work at starts on the 18th, and the school my daughter goes to (different district) starts on the 23rd. I start back to work on the 11th, work Wed. - Fri, then Mon., off Tues., then the kids will the there the 18th.

Niece starts on the 23 of this month. I'm waiting for the free tax day here to take her clothes shopping. She's not to happy about school this year....she'll be in 2nd grade.

My grandchildren are home schooled and they both want to go to public school. But public school leaves so much to be desired where they would have to go. They do get together with other children, just not everyday like public school children do.

Its always the day after Labor Day here in Chicago. My DS cant wait for school to start. He is going into 7th grade.

September 1st which is really weird because school ALWAYS starts the Wednesday after Labor Day, but it's starting before Labor Day this year. Not sure what the reasoning is behind it, but it's kind of strange.

My dd school starts day after labor day. This means more time I get to spend with her, it feels like yesterday that she got off for summer vacation.

both my girls will start the 31st. one going into 10th grade and one starting Kindergarten!!
everytime i think about it, i get teary, my little one has grown so fast :*(
