I assume the b means brand new with tags

No difference, BNWT= brand new with tag & NWT= new with tag. Means the same thing.

New with tags means that it has the tag still attatched but it could have been in someones closet for years.
brand new with tags means just that, the item is brand new and hasn't been stored for years.

I know it doesn't sound right but that is the way people think on there.
