At the Whopper Bar South Beach, guests can pair a Whopper sandwich with Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors brews. With fries, the combo will run $7.99.

I'm wondering what took them so long to do it. I bet all the other fast food places will do it now.

I guess all the kiddo's can sit around eating their kiddie meals while the grown ups sip and drink their beer.... that's a good example to set before the little ones.

Theres plenty of places to drink beer, some places they should just not.

People do it at TGI Fridays, Ruby Tuesday, ect...... what's the difference?

Besides, according to a story I heard on the news, it's suppose to be more of a 'bar' setting.....not like a typical BK restaurant. And it's only in select cities like Miami, Vegas and Atlantic City.

the difference is fastfood vs sitdown(reservation type)...
usually fastfood is more kid oriented and sit down is more adult
IMO
and cost is a big factor too

I just think some places should be set aside with non-alchohol, like mentioned above, TGI Fridays, Rubys etc.. etc... already have that offered for adults. What's next, Mcdonalds? I just think they have enough places that serve it, and there should be places, especially fast food, where you can take your kid to eat if you don't want them around it.
I mean, I take my kids out to eat at the local mexican restaurant, and they have alcohol, but that's kinda expected since it's more of a restaurant setting type of place etc.. I just think that fast food places, and especially chuck e cheese is more of a place to take kids and should not be served there, JMO.

edited to say, our chuck-e-cheese only allows 2 drink max~~which is good.....

The only problem I have with beer is when I run out.

Back in the day, there was a chain of sub shops in Florida., called MIAMI SUBS & they used to
sell Dom Perignon.

Beer is legal, my DD knows we drink sometimes so I guess I don't see the big deal about it.

This is for a new concept BK bar/rest. It will be different than the typical BK and I really doubt that all the BK's and fastfood rests will start serving as it will be hard to get liqour permits since most of the employees working there are underage. I don't think it's a big deal at all. Now what I would have a problem with is if they are serving beer thru the drive thru. LMAO. I'm sure the aren't though.
