They said on tmz.com that they're supposed to pay 42,000 and I believe he's getting 90 in jail and four years probation and she's getting 20 days in jail she'll serve after her husband gets out.. And they're not supposed to make any profit from doing it for four years.

Good, maybe it will deter any other people from trying some similar stunt to get attention. I'm glad they got more than a slap on the hand.

I agree. This is probably what it costs taxpayers and why should they have to pay for a "hoax?
To me the jail time is the punishment. The money is just paying back what it cost the city/state to "search" for the boy.

they truly deserve what they are getting....not only did they cost the state...it was because of this stupid story that i missed all my fav shows!
