What is it like by you?

We just got slammed with 14 inches and another 4 to 8 before midnight. The winds are 38 plus mph. Took my son and I 10 mins to get the front door open lol. The govenor has ordered all universities and state offices closed, well duh! Our temps for tomorrow is a beautiful -25 degrees. What's it like in your neck of the woods??

Wow, it's beautiful here. The rain cleared out and it's 65* and the sun is out. That is the one thing I don't miss about Buffalo,NY lol. Stay warm :)

Yesterday, as quoted on facebook by a neighbor, we had what would have been closely described as a monsoon. lol

Today it's sunny, and 34 degrees. Sustained west winds of 30 mph and gusts up to 40. They say the temp will be dropping all day into the 20's tonight.

Right now it is 18 with a windchill of 5. Butt ass cold. But it is suppose to warm up for the weekend, saturday 45 and sunday 55. Hate it, hate the cold. I'd rather sweat than freeze. I want to go outside

This is my front sidewalk this morning. My son shoveled it yesterday morning. Believe me there IS a sidewalk under there.. LOL The dumpster on the road is from the guys who are reroofing my house. Why they waited til the end of November to start reroofing my house is BEYOND me... lol

Apparently the snow was a straight faller.. There is no snow under my pine trees in the back yard. Hence the bare spot on the left :)

It's 9 degrees here. No snow :( They did say that there's a chance of snow on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but I doubt it will happen. It never does when they say there's a chance of it.

I wish it would hurry up and snow! If we're going to have these cold temps, then we should have snow with it!

Oh man...I had to g move my car just now b/c they came to plow our parking lot. I stepped in a puddle of slush & now I have wet feet and I have boots on.

Its nasty outside, we have about 6 inches on the ground and its started raining and the sleety ice is on its way then more snow tonight.
I havent finished shoveling yet either. Its awful out.

The storm want around us, YEA. Hope it doesn't get bad. I have a sick cat that may need to go back to the vet again. I have both grandkids tomorrow for the first time since my DIL is going back after maternity leave. They wanted some snow so the 1 year old could play in it but I don't want the streets to be bad.

9 inches of snow yesterday with 40 mph wind and 5 to 7 foot drifts today with a low of minus 12 last night and a high of 4 today. I think i might go swimming this afternoon!!!

This morning it was 54 and raining and now it is 43 with a high wind warning .. 31 mph right now and about 45 mins south of here is 50 mph. Low of 24 expected for tonite.

I just got a good laugh from my hubbys appearance. It's very windy out, he almost lost his cap. His hair was standing straight out from his head. What a mess. He said it was spitting snow a few minutes ago. Hope we don't get socked like a lot of people have.

The snowfall wasn't bad, 6-8" but the freezing rain on top of that is a problem. The roads are all ice covered.

Same here. We got about 12 inches. Windier than schits! We have 4 ft snow drifts at ALL of our doors. We shovel enough to let our dogs out and go out with them to keep and eye on them. Our cats won't even come out of the heated hut. And we had to dig to find the heated water bowl that was burried in a drift on our patio!!!

COLD!!! .. and WINDY!!! .. not as windy as last night but still cold and windy .. and we got a light dusting of snow. I know areas around us got hit, but it's still not bad snow wise.

Right now it's 19 with a windchill of 3! 60% chance of snow showers.

Here is one drift I took a pix of I thought was so cool buy our flatbed trailor. It looks like whitecaps on a lake or ocean.

This one is a drift that was outside our back door. We had to scoop some away to open and let our dogs out.
This is in front of our patio door and its about 3-4 ft also.

Our driveway corner was about 5 ft tall that dh plowed out last night. He has to finish in laws driveway today. He got cold as it was very thick and packed from all the wind.
