We put ours up when the tree farm we like opens up. They have reindeer you can feed, treats for everyone, christmas movies to watch, you can visit with Santa. The only presents I need to buy are the "santa" ones which I will pick up on black friday.

When we came home from taking my son trick or treating I started taking down the halloween decorations and putting up the christmas ones. We've got the window clings up, some santas, a tree made of jingle bells, the christmas candle holders, the vanilla gingerbread scented candles...now I just need the snow!

oh, and just to say, it's in the upper 70's here, and it's just not right putting up the tree while your sweating LOL. This is also why I wait a little longer.

Usually the Monday after Thanksgiving. It's the first day of deer, so I have the house to myself, to do it in peace and quiet.

Day after Thanksgiving, BUT, other Christmas decorations are a different story...this year anyways. LOL, I'm thinking of putting some Christmas lights on the stairway and my big door way today, just because I like them and they make me happy :D

I usually pull the tree out the day after Thanksgiving and try to set it up that weekend. I'd love to have a real one, but we can't.

I usually have at least one up the weekend after Thanksgiving. (I usually have 2 or 3). The others kind of depends on if I get real trees or not. If I decide to get real ones then I get those about 2-3 wks before Christmas.

We usually go to the Christmas tree farm, either the first or second weekend in December. It is so much fun to pick and cut our own tree. And also alot cheaper than getting one already cut. We pay $28 no matter the size, compared to $60,what we would pay for a tree the same size we usually get. Frasier firs always LOL

I never put it up before Thanksgiving.......actually I don't think I've ever put it up in the month of November.

I just put it up when the spirit hits me.

Maybe not at all. Didn't last year cause I honestly don't like my tree... it's been around a while and no longer looks good. I know that's a horrible excuse... but I don't need a tree to celebrate Christ!

Usually we put ours up the Saturday after Christmas.
The last couple of years, we did it mid-December because my elderly parents have kept me busy. Their tree goes up the day after Thanksgiving. With my mother's passing in August, Dad said he doesn't really feel like a tree this year. We'll see.

probably not putting up.
We don't really see the need. DS doesn't care if we have a tree.
We usually have DS's coat hanger tree he made in school; decorated with lights and garland.

Which one...LOL! I usually put up four trees (although this year I may have only 3.) The 10 ft. formal Victorian tree goes up the weekend after Thanksgiving. The other three go up as I have time. I put a 4-foot 'Santa' tree in the front bedroom (the only window facing the street.) A 4-foot 'Disney' tree goes upstairs. And the 7-foot family tree goes in the family room.

I kinda like Christmas...but no decorations until AFTER Thanksgiving.

I don't. We haven't put up a tree since 1992. I don't decorate either. And I'm happy with that. (nothing against Christmas or the reason for the season.)

We are spending Christmas in Palm Springs this year so not sure how much decorating I will do. That is of course if I stay healthy and my knee gets better after another surgery this next week!

In all honesty, I haven't put up a tree of my own in the last few years. Of course, since the split with my ex husband in 2007, the kids and I haven't exactly been alone in December, mostly staying with my parents. I'm thinking I might put one up around the first of December (depending on if we are still living here in this house) and I'll take it down around New Years.
