Weekend plans??

My brother is finally getting married lol. He just turned 34 so it's about freakin time. The rehearsal is tomorrow with a Friday ceremony. It is pretty upscale so it took forever to find the right dress. I am not in the bridal party cause I can't afford it but my son and I will be ushers.

They are getting married in the capitol building in a room where they sign laws and stuff. My soon to be sis in law is a contract lawyer so I guess it fits. The reception is at a overly beautiful Frank Lloyd designed building. Here are a couple pics.

We're going to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (won tickets to it), will hit the farmers market for probably the last time this year, and that's probably it. I want a nice quiet and relaxing weekend...of course all the kids are home at that time so who knows how quiet or relaxing it will be

Sunday we are apple picking after my husband runs in the Maine Marathon. We picked apples and raspberries a couple weekends ago to make apple sauce and raspberry jam,need more to make apple butter,apple pies to freeze,juice and apple crisp filling.

Tomorrow we're heading from the West Coast to the East Coast. Please some of you New Englanders tell me it's going to be a great time for the fall colors. We'll be in VT, NH, ME, and CT. :)

My neighbors are having their annual chili cook off and cornbread bake off on Saturday. I am participating in the cornbread bake off and Joe is making chili. Its always a good time.

Trying to fit too much into too little time. Have to drive my sister to visit her husband in a hospital which is 75 miles away one way both Thursday & Friday.
I have to work Saturday morning. Then I have to go with my son to Target to get my meds re-filled, then to a shopping outlet to try & find smaller clothes to fit me, no one carries a size 0 or 2. Then I need to take him grovery shopping since he is going back to college on Sunday.

Sunday I have to take him 2 hours away to college.

I can't wait until next Saturday.

We leave tomorrow for Mexico again (Puerto Adventuras) and I won't have wi fi so not even bringing my laptop. We will be gone 8 days :)

Since I have been sick all week flu now cold/cough thing, I hope to do a whole lot of nothing. Rest and maybe read, watch a movie. That is it.

Farmers market, thrift store, church on Sunday and I think because the weather really changed..pulling my gardens.
I hope for a hot bath, a tanning session and generally just a relaxing weekend.

I was supposed to go spend the night with my grandmother on Friday to attend my cousin's wedding on Saturday. But, now my grandmother is in the hospital and my bf has to work, so I don't know if I'm going after all...
