We are going to play dirty santa with dh's family this year. It is the first time they have played and it has been a hassle trying to get them to agree, but they finally did. We are not doing anything tacky or dirty. We are going to try to get something that someone would like or need, or at least something cool lol

I am needing help with idea's though. We are having a price limit of $20 each. Need ideas for males and females.

Dh and I are going to put a gift or two in that is more on the adult/tacky side as a gag gift on top of our normal gift, can't wait to see who opens it LOL

Any help you can give me would be great...Thank you

I'm a big gift card person.
Let them choose what they want.

This is what I would usually do but I kinda want to have an actual gift for them to open.

No, I've never heard of it either. I was wondering what it was about.

I've been doing christmas shopping since August. I want it all done and over with early, preferably by the end of black friday weekend. That way I can enjoy the festivities, not deal with the craziness, and relax a bit. Now if only stores would get some wrapping paper in I could wrap these gifts and not have to worry about the kids finding them. lol

As for a gift, maybe a gift basket? like if they're coffee drinkers, maybe a basket of mugs, coffee, creamer, etc.? You could do a decent one for $20.

Well for a friend of mine I once did a really nice pasta basket, cloth napkins, gourmet sauce, bottle of wine, then for the gag part I gave her a bag of penis shaped pasta and her dh a bag of boobie pasta. LOL

That sounds like a fun thing to do..I'll bet it got a bunch of chuckles...

You could also do a spa basket..Fancy soaps and sprays, powder and as the 'dirty' gift some condoms or massage oil..... Start sending for samples to use....

The thing with dirty santa is that you do not know who is going to get what, after a gift is opened someone else can take it. So I kinda want it to be more of a gift that everyone would like.

I do like the idea of the penis and boob pasta LOL I may do a basket with that or the condoms and massage oils as the gag gift.

Tell me about it, my younger two I am not so worried about but my oldest who just turned 11 is already asking for more expensive stuff. I have told him we can't afford it but I really want to try to get him something he wants. That is why I should have started a few months ago but with moving and all I really didn't think much about it.

Anyone know where I can get a good laptop cheap...I mean really cheap LOL that is his main gift he wants.

Sounds fun... a cute thing for your gift tag could be a small baggie of mini marshmallows and then a small envelope with the note inside saying, "you've been bad, so here's the scoop: you don't get coal, you get snowman poop."
