I found out I was pregnant on friday august 28th.... Well Went to doctor the following monday and they done ultrasound to confirm it and said I was only around 4 weeks... On the following Wed I wiped and it was pinkish and then it stopped.... Well On thursday me and my husband was out yard saleing and I started bleeding.... so I call the doc and they told me to come in the next day which was friday....They did another ultrasound and said the baby had growed since monday and that were I am at high risk anyways because of me losing 2 in the past that he would give me 50/50 chance to carry it... so I have continued to bleed and went back this past thursday for another ultrasound and baby had growed and we got to hear the heart beat which was 124... they said they thought the reasoning for me bleeding was because the baby hasnt completely attached itself to the uterus and sometimes that happens and some babies are slower about attaching themselves than others....he also said that there wasnt hardly any fluid at all around the baby and he said in all his 10 years of practice he hasnt ever seen anything like it.... I am assuming he meant because of the no fluid and the baby is still growing and had a heartbeat.....He told me again he was giving me a 50/50 chance because he himself didnt know what to make of all this... I am really thinking about switching doctors but I am just curious if anyone out there has had anything like this happen to them? I have 3 beautiful daughters....This makes my 6th pregnancy with 2 of them being miscarriages.... can anyone shed some light on this?

my babysitter had a similar issue. the drs put her on some med to help her carry her babies...she had atleast 3 miscarriages before she got put on it! i'll ask her what it is and let you know.

i asked her she said it's progestrone

crinone 8% gel it's called

you need to sit and not go out and do stuff. I know you are scared about a miscarriage, I had one also... so hard, and I to know the signs, as I am sure you do. If your insurance allows it, I would get a second opinion just for peace of mind. I wish you the best.

I had to have progestrone shots for 13wks to sustain the pregnancy with my DS. I had had miscarriages before. They check the hcg levels to make sure the levels are rising and the pregnancy is continuing. I also remember them telling me to lay down on my left side and rest.

I also think you should try to do as little as possible. I had bleeding after a hysterectomy and my doctor put me on bedrest. I noticed if I just layed I had hardly any bleeding but if I got up and did stuff it got heavier. I'm not sure about the lack of amniotic fluid. I lost a baby too so I know what you are going through. I honestly think I would get a second opinion.

I'm sorry for what you're going through. Before they do the DNC see if they'll check again for the heart beat just to make sure. With the symptoms you were having I'd just want to make sure. I'll definitely keep you and your family in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. You might want to talk to your DR about what other ops mentioned, maybe it would help in future pregnancies. HUGS, you did everything you could, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

chyna123 I am very sorry to hear this, please let them double check before you do any procedures.... I once knew a woman that her doctor told her the same thing, about not hearing a heart beat, and then she went to another and it ended up being fine...
I am truely sorry you are having to go through this, my prayers are with you and your family.
